My husband and I stayed in a Superior Overwater Room with a spacious 2-meter bed. Drinking water, coffee, tea, and toiletries were replenished promptly, and the towels were changed again in the evening

The room had a private terrace with a swimming pool, offering panoramic ocean views and excellent privacy – no neighbors in sight! The breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful, and the staff were warm, smiling, and very friendly! I highly recommend the Agua restaurant

Our waiter, Akram, was incredibly friendly; after a few casual words, he recommended the grilled grouper and the delicious Coco Chocolate dessert – both were wonderful! He even took some great photos for us! The hotel's large swimming pool was filled with colorful fish of all sizes, making snorkeling easy even for someone like me who isn't a strong swimmer! And then there’s Meg, the incredible marine biologist who turned a dream into reality. I mentioned wanting to swim with sharks, and despite unpredictable weather — wind, rain, and rough seas — she made it happen

The Ocean Pool Villa starting with 4 is amazing! It has a great view and a net bed. It's close to the Western restaurant, bar, and infinity pool. The butler service and meals are also very good.

Our Butler Ajaa responded to any requests very quickly. The restaurant staff was friendly as well. The food at the Ben Jarong restaurant was delicious and served very quickly

We paid through Dusit Thani for our sea plane 500 dollars each (very expensive but Moofushi is similar) however, when we arrived we were then asked to pay a further 50 dollars in overweight, as they weighed hand luggage and hand bags

The first impression of the resort is severly lacking and not a reflection of the class and the treatment that we were later showed and experienced. We really loved our time here, I can not recommend it enough

A paradise, perfect for relaxing. A good selection of food and drinks. If you're expecting a party island, you're in the wrong place; for relaxation and a stunning view, this island is perfect

I thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling. The showers while watching the sunset were also amazing. The three buffet meals were particularly excellent; I was impressed that they could plan and prepare such a menu every day

The restaurant staff were also excellent. They were professional, moving briskly while engaging in casual conversation and creating a fun atmosphere. The only thing I found disappointing was the housekeeper

I am so grateful for the staff's consideration. Although we booked an all-inclusive plan, the alcohol in the villa's minibar was an additional charge, so it didn't feel like an all-inclusive experience.

This is a good 4 star property with all inclusive packages. You will love the beach and the water bungalows. Even the standard Vilas were quite comfortable. Experiment with the snorkeling, while be careful of the sharks.

We are lucky enough to have come back to this resort for a second time, the resort is small compared to some islands which we like, I was lucky enough to have had two dives with the dive team who are just amazing, tom who guided me on the dives was so helpful and the rest of the dive time were also amazing, I also visited Lee the Chinese therapist who was amazing, a special shout out to the lovely...

This place was like paradise , It had the right balance between total relaxation, sports activities , animation team and evening entertainment

It is a small beautiful island , cleaned and maintained to a highest standard. All inclusive option , breakfast , lunch and dinner had variety and was lovely. All staff were extremely polite and professional

The beach villas (sunset side) are wonderful, clean, and beautifully furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lot of seaweed, so we went swimming on the other side of the island

Everything was super great the food the room the island super thankful for the staff friendly and professional… only the beach is full of seaweed otherwise great experience

The pool was also large and clean, but the sun loungers and especially the towels could use replacing; some were full of stains and holes

Just returned from a fabulous week in medufushi, all staff from the groundsmen,cleaners to bar staff and reception were lovely,friendly and attentive Fauzan looked after us very well in the restaurant everyday

We were on the side were the tide did being in the sea ****, but it was cooler and always had a breeze. didn’t like the mosquito spray every day at 4 as noisy and smelly but learnt to avoid it

Sandies Bathala, was everything we hoped for and were not disappointed. With only 70 properties, 30 Water Villas and 40 Beach Villas its the perfect retreat if you are looking for a peaceful uncomplicated resort

Our restaurant waiter Magic, was awsome he totally went out of his way to make sure we wanted for nothing even helped with teaching us a few Maldivian words to use during our stay

Every day, a man nicknamed Kokosman spread good mood and coconuts around the island. We were extremely satisfied with the services on the island. The villa was perfectly cleaned twice every day

Our kids had an incredible time and were excited to go every day, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the resort even more. The resort is perfectly designed for families, combining luxury, comfort, and excellent service

For us, it was on the most beautiful part of the island. I highly recommend lunch at the underwater restaurant Subsix. Staff at Epicur Dewa, Fathik, Putu and many others

The quality and variety of the dishes are impressive. The hotel shows how much it cares about its guests, not only during the stay but also before and after. The pre-check-in and post-check-out experiences were wonderful

I especially want to highlight Youkay, who did his job far beyond 100 percent, was always available, replied very quickly, and genuinely tried to help in any situation, which made the whole stay calm and stress free

Gangehi is a well-maintained 4 star resort for travellers focusing on value for money - and the value is great: nice rooms (beach and over-water bungalows), great food, dive centre, spa, fitness room and nice garden

Amazingly beautiful small island with fantastic underwater world- this is the perfect place for anyone who loves dividing and snorkelling or just enjoying the paradise-like beach and crystal-clear water

The room was very clean, and the sea was right outside the door, where you could swim and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. There was also a small, winding beach.

This is our third stay at Gangehi Island Resort & Spa. We returned because the island is small and intimate. You feel like you're on your own private island. Staying in a water bungalow, you can admire the sunsets daily

The stunning rooftop pool offers fantastic views over the island and is a great place to enjoy a Mocktail. Situated close to an idyllic bikini beach, there is also an activity desk with some great ideas

​The food was consistently delicious with a great variety, and a major highlight was the rooftop infinity pool—the views are breathtaking! It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring

It was fun to watch the surfers riding the waves nearby, and the local town is a short walk away where there are a few shops and cafes. All the staff at the Hotel were so kind and helpful

We also booked a visit to Shark Island where i was privileged to snorkel with about 6 sharks who were bigger than me

This was my first Maldives trip, so I was a bit nervous I might not be impressed, but it was a nice surprise that I will remember in my heart. First of all, this is a barefoot island

there’s no concrete, but sand everywhere. The beach amazing and never thought snorkel could be so good only feet away from getting in the water

com but was disappointed when the staff didn't go to the new terminal to pick us up and we had to find our own way pass the old terminal to find their assisting counter. It was a 45 mins speedboat ride to the resort

Despite feeling unwell, I joined some sea sports events like the daily complimentary 1-hour snorkeling trip, did jet-ski and the night snorkeling too. Do make reservations a day before going for these events

​We had a truly wonderful stay. We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool on an all-inclusive plan. The clarity of the ocean, the quality of the food, and the hospitality of the staff were all top-notch

The chef even specially arranged a hot pot meal for us! The scenery was absolutely beautiful; we saw all sorts of fish and even sea turtles!

🌴 Review: Dreamland Maldives (Stayed July 7–11, 2025) 🌴 Just returned from an amazing 4-night stay at Dreamland Maldives, and overall we were really impressed — especially if you love marine life and peaceful surroundings

🐠 Snorkeling & Excursions – Absolutely worth it! The house reef around the island is full of life. We saw nurse sharks, sea cucumbers, and even sea turtles while snorkeling close to shore

Our favorite excursions were: • A trip to Hanifaru Bay to watch the majestic manta rays. • A nurse shark tour around the Dreamland reef — exciting and well organized

It has been a perfect vacation, the hotel is perfect and romantic to go as a couple, excellent service, wonderful food and very friendly staff, the island is well designed, the indoor restaurant is very romantic and the beach bar too

The hotel roads were very sandy, making it easy for the wheels to get stuck. I booked two diving trips, but saw very little marine life; I didn't see a single turtle on either dive

The hotel was quite small, limiting the area. The waves were large near the Sunrise Villas. I heard there were two chefs from China, but the food in the restaurant was quite bad

The hotel is beautiful, but it is indeed a bit far; the seaplane transfer cost quite a bit. The service after check-in was impeccable. It would have been even better if we had a Chinese-speaking butler

I stayed at two hotels in the Maldives. This hotel was more expensive than the first, but not necessarily better. The internet and bank apps were extremely slow to load

The beauty of the island is breathtaking, we could barely believe our eyes when we arrived! We snorkelled every day, and feel incredibly lucky to have seen such precious creatures in the wild, from rays and turtles to nurse sharks and dolphins! We were very impressed by all of the staff at Sirru Fen Fushi, all of whom upheld the highest service standards

The food was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the buffet at Raha Market and Azure restaurant. I have a peanut allergy, so sometimes eating while travelling can be a worry. However, this was absolutely not an issue

Once we were off the speed boat, the staff on the resort were very friendly and helpful! If you were looking for a bit of shade in the ocean (which is needed in the Maldivian sun!) We were left waiting 30 minutes with no idea if they were coming or what was going to happen and had to call multiple times which was not the best way to start the trip

Our pick up at the airport was not very smooth though and we were told our pick up would be waiting for us as we left the airport only to find no one there

The breakfast buffet was a bit of a let down for us however we ate at Washoku which was nice and Flame was excellent

What a perfect slice of paradise! We spent 4 nights in the overwater villas and left feeling very happy and relaxed
