We’ve just returned from the most incredible week in the Maldives, and honestly, this hotel exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness from every member of staff made us feel completely at home in absolute luxury.
The food and drinks were exceptional throughout our stay — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and consistently five-star quality. Whether it was relaxed lunches overlooking the ocean, sunset cocktails, or romantic evening meals, everything felt effortless and perfectly executed. The attention to detail across the entire resort is something you truly have to experience to appreciate.
What made this trip unforgettable, though, was the way the team secretly helped me plan and set up my beach proposal for my girlfriend. They worked quietly behind the scenes to create the most perfect, private setting on the sand — discreet, thoughtful, and absolutely magical. It was beyond anything I could have imagined, and thanks to them, it became one of the most special moments of our lives.

We have the pleasure of staying here for what should have been 10 nights which ended up being 14 nights.
We used the laundry service this was brilliant Senanayaka was amazing his attention to detail is second to none, I had miss counted the number of items and he came and found us to Inform us of my error.
REN on reception was kind caring and compassionate when our flights was cancelled and did everything she could to help us. There are so many staff to many to name. Every one has been so kind and caring. Thank you and we look forward to returning some day

Cinnamon Dhonveli is a beautiful resort. This was our second visit, and we are already planning to return again next year. The facilities, accommodation and food are all of an excellent standard, and the resort consistently delivers a wonderful experience. The staff go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect and nothing is ever too much trouble. My husband uses a wheelchair, and the extra care the staff and our Island host, Ren took to make everything easy and comfortable for him was truly appreciated. Their kindness made a meaningful difference to our stay. We highly recommend Cinnamon Dhonveli and look forward to visiting again

An absolutely amazing experience at Dhonveli! It was our first time in the Maldives, and what a great first experience it was.
The resort is lovely and filled with many activities to keep you busy during your stay. There's an lovely spa, multiple food & drink choices, live music and a glorious beach.
We stayed in a water suite, which was spacious and very clean.
The staff were wonderful and super helpful. A huge thank you to the staff at Dalchini who made our stay extra special, including Srimanti, Ibrahim and Jaleel. Also thank you to our host Ren who was super helpful. We'll definitely be back!
The ONLY negative was the wifi, which reminded me of the days of dail up.

I have visited Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives three times, and it has always been a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The island is quite big with beautiful surroundings, perfect for walking around and enjoying nature.
The beach bar is definitely my favorite spot the drinks are very good and the atmosphere is amazing. The lagoon is also great for swimming. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
The food was okay for me personally, but my friend loved it, so it really depends on personal taste. The morning snack was fine, but I didn’t really enjoy the beverages at the snack bar as much as the ones at the beach bar.
Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great facilities like tennis, basketball, and a nice pool. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable Maldives getaway.

The hotel is just great. I was little bit worried because it "just" 4* but tbh I didn't know why it hasn't 5*, the services and the rooms are on a 5*hotel niveau.
