Poor hotel, we slept for 6 nights here, no housekeeping, we had to ask for new towels every day... the common kitchen was dirty and we had a room without airconditioning (wich we had booked for)...Also: we didn't sleep alone; we had some unwanted company from some cockcroaches and other small animals :(. The toilet and shower were broken and the room was extreem small. We booked for a room with a fridge (it wasnt in our room but in the common kitchen, and we had to share the fridge) day 4: our water and bread was stolen from the fridge. The hotel is poorly located in a small town and the nearest supermarket is a km (1-2) walk (hill upwards)... My last point: the hotel isnt very save, as a guest we had to lock the front door, but everybody left the door open or not locked, also a lot of drunk people forgot the key, they were ringing the annoying front door bell all night long...
Very small room with no proper airconditioning. During our stay (6 nights) there was no housekeeping and we had to ask for clean towels with the result that our room was crowded with cockroaches. Lastly the safety is very poor. The front door is not locked at night so everyone can get in and out of the house and one night the door was just left wide open. The rare occation when the door is locked you will be woken up in the middle of the night with people ringing the doorbell because they want to get in. Overall we were very dissapointed!!
Stayed here with a group of eighteen people. The house is beautiful and clean, I shared a room with my son, with our own shower and toilet. The air conditioning in the room was brilliant and very needed!!. Fantastic clean pool, and great outdoor space where we had dinner every night. The house has a lovely welcoming feel, and house Manager Janice was just fabulous. She was kind, patient, informative, and genuinely cared that we all had a great holiday. Thank you very much 💓
Everything was really well organised whilst at Basecamp, a great place to explore Malta from. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) to let off steam and build friendships whilst only a 10-15 minute walk from St Georges or the supermarket (Greens). Janice and team were superb hosts, thanks for looking after us and making the holiday special.
Janice is a great hostess, house keeper, sensitive attentive, caring & flexible! Accommodation is perfect. Food could be a bit more varied with more salad options at dinner but some very tasty meals.
our stay at the base camp went perfectly well. the house is perfect for a group of friends and is functional. its location is perfect to be able to move around easily. the manager was attentive to our needs and available throughout our stay. we had a very pleasant stay at the base camps. I highly recommend
Perfect spot to come together with a group of international friends! Enough space to spread out, work or chat. Loved the swimming every morning. Although the kitchen is rather limited in space to cook for bigger groups. From the main road parallel to the house only the moments of traffic jams and bus stops remind of an outer world.

Nice place, but recommended for young people only. Good position. The common kitchen is too small for all the people, that maybe want to eat at the same time. The water in the swimming pool was very dirty.
