We stayed here with 57 of our guests for our wedding in Malta. The hotel is clean and the food and drinks are brilliant. We experienced fantastic service and would highly recommend for families travelling in large groups

Location is amazing right by lots of nice restaurants and bars. Carvv restaurant is delicious and really reasonably priced with great service

The hotel is very up to par with everything that was advertised for the hotel: there is a Spa, 2 pools outside, 2 inside, its own beach + 2 pools on the beach, a casino and a gym

Wonderful accommodation beautifully presented, we were very well looked after by the conscientious amd professional staff who were always courteous and polite. The food on offer was ten out of ten

Cross the road is public white sand beach. Only bad thing could be location. But thats not problem if you want truly peace and relax

Each day we had to call the Service centre as some of towels were always missed after room cleaning. It made us question the process and management of the Hotel

The water pressure in the shower was also nice and strong. The buffet breakfast had a decent spread and caters for special dietary requirements, with different milks, and plenty of vegetarian friendly foods

This is clearly a luxury spa resort, with a focus on health and wellness. The gym was well equipped and the indoor pool had jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as well. They offer spa treatments in the same area

Good clean hotel, very large rooms. We've had a 2 bed apartment that is significant in size. Staff lovely and helpful but not overbearing. Very acceptable as a self contained apartment

the apparent was lovely space clean modern big balcony fantastic view we were there bad weather so to get to indoor pool or gym walk across to next door not good also nowhere in hotel to get tea or soft dy ect as in bad weather shops cross road close

Area seems safe and caters to tourists well, apartments are close to big hotels and other accommodation so lots of restaurants near by. The bus service is really good too. The airport is around 40 minutes away by bus

What stood out: • Location: Absolutely unbeatable. The hotel overlooks the harbour in St. Paul’s Bay, which means beautiful sea views as soon as you step out onto the balcony

 • Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms were spotless; every day the room was cleaned and made up to a high standard, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms modern and tidy

Reception was informative, restaurant & pool‐bar staff were welcoming and always ready to assist. It felt like a family‑run hotel in the sense that service had warmth

Little touches (like fresh water in the room) made a difference.  • Staff & Service: The people working there were friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care

It’s also just a short walk to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the bus stops

Good priced hotel, about 15-20min walk from main St Pauls but decent enough location and quiet area

Lovely location, gardens, and beach, and lots of activities to try. Pools a bit on the small side

All the rooms have safes; some need a key deposit, others are digital. The views of the bay are amazing both during the day and at night. We went all inclusive to the resort and I have no issues with the food

A great selection of meals each night from Sunday roast to cheese boards. Breakfast was a typical European version of a cooked breakfast but also had cereals, fruit and toast as most are accustomed to at an all-inclusive

The pool area is quite small at this time of years as the main pool was under maintenance for the summer months. The gardens are beautiful and great for either strolling around or Sun bathing

The private beach is also well maintained. It could get crowded so advisable to go early to get a good spot

The only thing that needs improvement is the WiFi. Other than that, it’s a very good place. Spacious rooms with amazing views from the balcony. Indoor and outdoor Swimming pools are nice

What stood out most was the customer service — every staff member was welcoming and attentive. Chetan in Reception, whose warmth and efficiency made us feel truly looked after

Malta is a very special place in the world for me. This hotel is perfectly situated on the very edge of the shore, in the face of the ultimate blue Mediterranean sea. 

The view is currently unbeatable; the balcony is spacious with a panoramic view of the vast Mediterranean Sea, and the bedding is very comfortable with soft pillows. The indoor swimming pool is especially cozy and warm.

The place was well located, the staff was friendly and helpful, the view was amazing.  Great place to stay

Waitress Veronica looked after us very well during breakfast. Luckily we are both fairly fit and mobile, but we did hear a few older guests commenting about the hill and distance from the centre and bus stops

it is a cheap place and at a great location .rooms are big and spacious lift is a bit scary but other than that it is a great place close to the heart of paceville and right across the road from the beach. love it!

Honestly can’t fault this place. Very good location and I got a beautiful view as kindly requested from my room. The decor is a bit worn however but for the price you can’t complain

Cheap price rooms. Hotel a little rusty but clean. Very close to the beach. And nice restaurants and bars really close.

The bar next door played music till 4 am but it didn't bother me, but bring ear plugs if it bothers you. Right on the sea front, such a perfect location!

This is paceville so expect to hear music in the night but it was perfect for me as I was right next to the *****. Doors are locked at night for safety

Great stay for 3 nights with great food, we stayed half board. We paid extra for a sea view and it was an amazing view! Totally worth the money

Good value for money and a delicious breakfast. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! The front desk staff were also very helpful.

We chose the Corinthia Hotel for our honeymoon. It was a bit far from the city center, so it was very quiet and comfortable to rest. The ocean and scenery were breathtaking.

Very old hotel with only 1 plug in the room that works with modern day electronics lol, the hotel is nice and quiet, location is close to everything as well. But the reception desk service is the worst!

The excellent location on the bank of bay is handy for walking and visit important places and restaurants. Upholstery, furnishings in room, little tiring, would need up-gradation to enhance the joy of stay, further

We had a lovely family stay at the IHG Malta hotel and really enjoyed our vacation. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making them ideal for a family stay

You can walk to the hub of St Julians for many other restaurants and bars. There is a bus stop outside the hotel for ease of access to Valletta etc. I would highly recommend the Marina

This hotel is perfect for a holiday in Malta(St Julian's). The rooms are spacious and comfortable with many good restaurants on site. The shining light of this hotel is the staff

The room environment was decent, but I can't say the same for the service. I left a €5 tip on the second day after checking in before heading out, but the cleaning was very perfunctory

However, they didn't even replace the disposable slippers for three days! It's like they're forcing you to go to the front desk and give another tip to get anything

There's a kitchen fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction hob, an oven, and a dishwasher. The TV channels include Phoenix Satellite Television, but no HBO

The sofa in the living room of this room type converts into a bed; I had communicated this via email beforehand, and it was already made up upon check-in

They didn't even bother to leave extra bottles of water, and it's understandable if they don't replenish disposable toothbrushes and such

The room offered an unbeatable sea view, and the breakfast was plentiful. The room itself was spacious. Excellent.

Use electronic key tab for the lockers inside the room under the bed. Next to a bus stop, easy transport to the airport.

It was sunny for four consecutive days, making it great for escaping the cold. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it convenient to get anywhere. However, Malta's buses are notoriously hard to wait for

It was a little disappointing there wasn't a hairdryer, but the place was clearly well-cleaned. Every time I walked past the toilets and showers, I could smell disinfectant, which was reassuring

There's a small balcony outside the dorm room, good enough to sit on. However, it can be quite windy and a bit cold. Being in the south, Malta in mid-December has higher temperatures than other places

Ferry lights illuminated our room all night long when we expected a view of the pool and ocean/bay? Someone did a sloppy white coat of paint at some time and all the molding in the rooms and hallways shows the paint

The front desk did not even have a schedule for the gozo channel ferry and handed me the Sliema - Valletta ferry schedule which was hilarious. The service in the beach front restaurant was also horrible

They do not care and will move all of your belongings which for us was money, camera equipment, and lingerie without caring that you had a do not disturb sign

However room service must also put a key in the slot in order to turn on the electricity and would then see the do not disturb sign illuminated

The room electricity needs a room key to run and if you leave the do not disturb light is no longer on

The only reason to stay here is if you are diving and do not want to travel far afterwards

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and helpful 😊, very well priced for a great location, we stayed 5 nights, room was comfy and had air-conditioning, nice clean toilets and showers, staff and owner were all lovely

This hostel is located in the heart of Sliema, about a 10-minute walk to the port. It is a small but friendly hostel. The interior is not luxurious but clean. It is another good choice for traveling in Malta

Fair, basic, unassuming hostel. Recommended for short stays, 1-2 days max. I stayed for 5 and it started feeling a bit cramped, especially for the bathrooms. These are shared, and the ladies clean them around 8am

The room was exactly as I had hoped for, except for the building is not very isolated, so I recommend bringing ear plugs if you have sensitive ears and/or need to sleep well.

The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful

I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall

Everything was perfect, big clean rooms, lovely breakfast, nice internal and external warm pool, location just on the central road.

However Spa facilities are not huge we enjoyed it, also there is sauna! It was super convenient to live on the 10th floor. Very quiet at night as windows are soundproof and it was also dark which is important to me

There are swimming pool, sauna, steaming room and jacuzzi. Also the stuff is cool and they are always prepared to help with anything or make a great protein shake

Fantastic hotel, got upgraded from economy room to a suite which was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a great location. just spent 7 fantastic days here. Lovely clean rooms with an amazing sea view. Food excellent, the variety of food was great, suitable for all tastes

Location was great with lots of options nearby for food as well as buses to the centre of Valletta stopping very close to the hotel

We found the Preluna ,a great base,for catching transport to see around the Island, it was our first time, our stay was too brief, will plan it better for our next visit, to maximise our chance to appreciate what this wonderful country has to offer

All staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, especially one member of staff who sadly we didn't get his name but he made the best Brain teaser cocktails and he always made time to come over and chat to us

The hotel has a wonderful top terrace that offers a magnificent view either day or night. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. I enjoyed very much my stay and I consider coming back another time

Excellent location, very friendly staff. The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave. It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic

Hard to fault in the price bracket, good size room. Staff extremely helpful surrounded by good eateries and close to the Valletta ferry terminal.

The restaurant was culinary and classy with some traditional foods. The spa was so serene and relaxing and their rules allowed everyone to share

Lovely hotel! Great sized bed and very clean. There is shampoo and body wash available. Rooftop is amazing with fantastic views of Malta

Housekeeping deserves special mention for the lovely details — towel origami elephants and flowers, plus small welcome gifts, which made the stay feel extra special

com Inside the room, a few practical items were missing: hangers in the wardrobe, knives, and a proper shelf in the bathroom for personal items — these small additions would make a big difference

The hotel location is within walking distance to Valletta, bus stops and the ferry terminal, but this depends on how much you enjoy walking

Everything was great! Only critique is plug sockets weren't accessible from the bed which was a little inconvenient

We stayed one week at the hotel Excelsior at the end of November, and I have no words to express my gratitude to everyone who made our stay such a wonderful experience! From the reception team, the young, tall doorman who always paid special attention to our 3-year old boy, the cleaning staff, to the restaurant crew — everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely polite

And the food at the hotel restaurant was so good that, even though we usually enjoy eating out, we often chose to dine in. Overall, we warmly recommend this hotel

Our suite was so spacious and comfortable that we sometimes preferred staying in and relaxing over going out

Bed frame peeling 😩 If you go for a swim in the pool there are no showering facilities or changing rooms prepare to pay €15 to use them along with the small sauna or walk back to your room with wet swimming costume

They just told me to fill out a form and take my key with no explanation regarding what my package included, where to acquire pool towels or the dining timings, NADA!!! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay - the wine was decent and very cheap, so was everything in general

Come with your own chair and towel and find a spot before the local workers with chairs do. If they tell you to move, ask to see documentation saying they own the land. Don't get screwed out of money.

The sea is amazing! The water is so pure !:-) unfortunately you have to walk for 15min from the beach to reach the WC's but you'll enjoy the amazing view

The beach is so-so, but once in your kayak this is hours and hours of fun and breathtaking views

Amazing beach and clear water but packed with tourists and jellyfish! Loved it nonetheless :)
