In a tight and busy little town this hotel is really an oasis of calm. The rooms are fairly spacious compared to chain hotels and very nicely decorated. The bar and pool area are very nice to unwind. The Julina Boutique Hotel was such a lovely place to stay. The staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and the option of eggs was such a nice touch. Staff very nice and helpful, rooms very clean. However we were in the Mesquita room which is very very small. Also, breakfast is very very poor just eggs and some toast and waited far too long to be served. There was only just us and another couple.

It was a quiet, fun little stay to see Mdina. It is so close and walkable to all there is to see in this hilltop town. While it is small, the breakfast was personally prepared and very good. The room was large and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is in a quiet, pedestrian street so you do need to walk a little way when your luggage from the car. Location is quiet, you can however hear the music slightly coming from the restaurant downstairs and also the church bells(which we liked ).The staff are exceptionally friendly . When I booked this place, I was a little unsure about the shared bathroom. However, budget being what it is, I ended up giving it a try based on the great ratings. Bathroom was pristine, Theresa and Pauline were awesome and I'd gladly come back to give Mdina a longer tour when I visit Malta again.

Good value for money. 15 minutes walk from Mdina. Old world charm of wood and marble interior, like 18th century. Nice clean bathroom & toilet. Kitchen and roof terrace available. Only drawback was shared bathroom, but owner told me they would be refurbishing and putting in en-suite facilities. Very friendly and helpful.

The new location is even better than the old one! It’s closer to the main part of the city and there is a smaller hill to walk up. Everything was perfectly clean and decorated beautifully. The bathrooms and showers were perfect and the staff was lovely.

The rooms aren’t bad per se. There’s an AC and the beds are comfortable. Depending on the Block you live in you get different sized kitchens and different sized rooms. The kitchen isn’t fully equipped and a lot of times the stuff you need is in kitchens in other apartments. The locks are kind of difficult to manage, especially the bathroom locks. They often lock when you shut the door. Furthermore...

Cafeteria is good. Pool good. Family friendly good. There is no silence hour, nor a security guard to calm down the drunks. Need to push them to clean. No privet parking , parking at neighbors recommended.

Everything was really well organised whilst at Basecamp, a great place to explore Malta from. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) to let off steam and build friendships whilst only a 10-15 minute walk from St Georges or the supermarket (Greens). Friendly staff and a spacious room. However, you need to be okay with raw concrete ceilings, cold neon lighting (even in the room!), and exposed electrical wires! Nice clean place good people in respection

The rooms were large and comfortable, with a separate bedroom. It was a huge plus that we could relax in peace and quiet without hearing the noise in the hallway. The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of food and drinks to choose from. The location was very convenient. The view of the harbor and ports from the 11th floor was incredibly peaceful, especially when we had breakfast with that view...

Large, clean rooms. Quiet. Room service Gopel did a good job thanks. Friendly greetings from all staff. Amazing breakfast looking out from 11th floor to Valletta. Great choices of food, all fresh and tasty. Even natural honeycomb to have on selection of breads, cakes etc. Handy for choice of restaurants and bus or ferry into Valletta and beyond. Good parking under the hotel. My third visit for work...
