My husband and I checked into this gorgeous hotel last Thursday and from the moment we arrived we’ve had the most incredible experience. This truly feels like a 5-star hotel, the level of service we received was second to none, our room was spotless, and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved that the half-board option offered a proper sit-down, fine-dining experience each evening rather than a buffet.
The drinks at the bar were fabulous, with an impressive selection of high-end spirits, wines and cocktails. Every single staff member we met was warm, personable and genuinely kind and they really left a lasting impression on us.
Although we weren’t able to experience the Lady Lisbeth dinner due to the weather, the beach and the setting are gorgeous, and the team truly went out of their way to make our stay special.
Free shuttles to Grand Baie, free use of paddle, snorkelling equipment etc and they arrange all your excursions for you without adding on loads of hidden and extra costs like other hotels do.
Thank you to everyone at 20° Sud for making this part of our honeymoon so memorable. We’re already recommending it to all our friends who are thinking of visiting Mauritius.

A well situated location. Atmosphere is welcoming and professional. Our suite was well furnished and immaculately clean. They have lovely entertainment on an evening and all the staff are both friendly and efficient. The management team are highly visible and engaged well with us. The bar team serves some of the best cocktails we have tasted in Mauritius. Food is of very high standard and well presented. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning.

The welcome at this hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff are warm, smiling, and very inviting, instantly making us feel comfortable and at ease. The check-in was smooth, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. A beautiful first impression that already sets the tone for a great stay.

Walking through the huge carved door to the hotel was like walking into an oasis. We stayed for 4 nights in an Austral suite. Our suite was no 2. It was huge, facing the sea with a beautiful private pool. It provided everything we could want - and more! The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We asked for a parasol on our private terrace and it appeared straight away - the base was so heavy it had to be carried by 3 staff members. We were welcomed to the hotel by Jessica, who was professional and very friendly. Our other favourite was the waiter Dennis. What a character! We chose to have breakfast in our suite every morning. What luxury - having breakfast on our terrace a few feet away from the sea. We used the complementary taxi boat into Grand Baie. We also explored the bay with the double kayak and went snorkeling on the reef with Patrick. An amazing experience! The restaurant offered exceptional food and service. The bar staff were very welcoming and soon knew our regular order. Afternoon tea with cake and biscuits was an unexpected extra. Our massage at the spa was so relaxing. Overall, it was a really luxury stay. Thank you x

We stayed in The Charm rooms for 4 nights and enjoyed the Mauritian hospitality provided by the GM and his team. The food was generally excellent although the service at dinner could be a little slow, whereas the bar was excellent with a great choice of cocktails. The snorkelling trips and the ‘ferry’ service across the bay were included so it was lovely to get out and enjoy the local area.

Had a wonderful lunch at 20 Degrés Sud. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff, creating a truly pleasing and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious — hats off to the chef for such a delightful culinary experience! Definitely value for money. A special thanks to Neeraj and team for their outstanding service. This was our second visit, and it certainly won’t be the last!
