My family stayed here for five nights total and it was the best hotel for us. Great service, clean, with a very nice restaurant with delicious food. We tried a massage and that was wonderful as well! The hotel's landscape and garden are gorgeous and well-maintained. Thank you!

You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol beverages. They will charge you, the hot has a tub is part of the spa and it hourly charge!

We first stayed at Hotel Ayook in 2023, and returned again (twice!) in 2025. It’s a wonderful small hotel with a friendly staff. In fact, I recognized nearly everyone working from our first stay. Lovely hotel, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. But the pillows were as hard as a rock and the beds were tiny (-1 star). If you don’t mind small beds then I’d definetly recommend this place! Also very well located.

After exploring Oaxaca Centro, we found Hotel Dorado online as a nearby spot to enjoy some pool time. It was just a short walk away, and for 300 pesos pp flat fee, which included access + food and drinks credits. We had the entire place to ourselves for the afternoon, and the staff were friendly and accommodating! Definitely more a 3 star hotel as to what is noted on Google.

We didn’t stay here but did pay for a day pass to the pool. 220 pesos per adult and 160 per kiddo, with about 2/3 going toward food at their restaurant. We had a great day. The pool is clean, with a shallow kid area. Exactly what the whole family needed.

Stayed here for dia de los muertos for a week. This was the closest hotel i could get to town. I would stay here again just for the pool, but the wifi was kindof a dealbreaker. It was pretty unusable, not only for work but for general use. The pool is great though. I'd come back just for the pool

We visited to use their pool on a couple really hot days in Oaxaca. Very affordable, 180 pesos each with 140 going towards your food bill. We had delicious club sandwiches and a pitcher of agua fresca. Pool was refreshingly cold, had the place to ourselves most of the day. Grounds were well kept & clean. Great service & attention.

This is a very cute place and I felt safe traveling alone. Many places are around the corner from here, like all the eateries at the zocalo square and the mercado. Great staff.

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are nice and comfortable. However, there was a lot of echo in the hallways, so when people passed by or came back late, talking loudly, it was easy to hear them from inside the room. Other than that, everything was fine, and overall, it was an okay stay.

Location is great, the rooms are decent, the only thing I did not like was that ******* showed that there was no rooms left with one bed and the price for two beds was higher, to my surprise when I go check in, is that they had enough rooms with one bed and I was overcharged.

Not very visible from outside but once you are inside is a different story, really nice hotel, service is great. I booked online and had no issues. The room is small but nice. The area is really walkable and easy to get everywhere.

I say it's alright for a person that's not picky. 400 pesos like(22dlls) a night. Not bad if you wanna save money and need a place to sleep, watch TV, and shower. Only a few blocks from the Zocalo area.

Excellent value, good water pressure on a quiet street surrounded by spots to eat and cafes, pretty quiet at night and excellent cleaning every day if you want. They have a mini fridge and a sitting area downstairs. Staff is polite and did us a huge favor with our luggage while we went on little trips outside the city.

Good location, nice place, the service is good, it's a nice environment

It's 20+ minutes from the heart of the city, very noisy but clean and great views if you go up to the terrace. It's very difficult to find as GPS will send you to a totally different location. The staff were the best part of my stay here. Made friends with the two night receptionists and even hung out with them separately. The place is gated and very safe.

The rooms are not bad at all I just feel that in rainy weather it is necessary to put a dehumidifier for humidity

The accommodation is comfortable, without being all that good. Its rooms are very well furnished, what they have against is the heat and it only has a fan. The cleanliness in this place is unbeatable, everything very well. Highly recommended. I give it 4 stars because it does what it promises for the price you pay.

One of the quietest and most relaxing places to stay in Oaxaca. I'm a digital nomad so an entire bungalow is more than enough for me. They can also be good for a couple or a family. Great option if you don't want or have to be in the city center. This is a laid back, relaxed, upscale neighborhood where you can interact with locals. A great option in Oaxaca if you're looking for something reasonably priced, with a good location and decent quality, especially during holidays when prices skyrocket, for example, during Guelaguetza or Day of the Dead. They require a $1,100 deposit for the gate access control. I recommend this place if you have a car, as it's only 10-15 minutes from the city center.

I visited them; they are spacious two-bedroom apartments, very cool and pleasant, in the San Felipe del Agua area, away from the center of Oaxaca.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in the center of the city, walking distance from everything. Good that it has AC. The shower was a bit small. The room was noisy from the street and you could hear everything from the hallway. The quality of the toiletries provided wasn't great, there wasn't any conditioner.

The hotel was nice but the staff were the issue. I felt watched my whole stay there. They would come to my room to complain that there was an extra guest in my room. I told them they were just here to use the restroom and we were leaving but they were trying to raise an issue for us.

The service was fantastic! I really appreciated how close the hotel was to the zocalo. The only thing I would change is that the executive rooms could have a bit more space and windows.

The hotel is totally new (remodeled) and clean, wifi is working great at all corners and location is really centric. The only little detail would be that every little noise from the corridor can be heard inside your room. Not a big deal since is familiar time friendly. Nothing that can damage the service and attention level.

Great hotel just a 5 minute walk to the Zocalo. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was incredible, as good as anything we ate throughout our stay. The staff were all great, with a special shoutout to Fernanda at the front desk and the servers at breakfast for making everything so nice. Highly recommended!

we checked in after 3 pm and one of the two rooms was not ready and we had two wait 1 hour to get into the room. bed sheets were dirty and the staff could not change the sheets because the cleaning personal was not at the Hotel, we had to sleep without bed sheets, clean sheets were brought the next day. we had a sick person with us and we asked for late check out to give the person the opportunity...

We really loved the amenities and the location of this hotel! The rooms were adequate - must say the barking dogs was slightly annoying. The breakfast that is included was served by great staff and was fantastic food! The presentation was amazing. However, we felt that the additional costs for a second (or more) cup of coffee was not warranted. Also, the lack of free available drinking water cheapened...
