I was very happy with my stay at this hotel! The food was delicious, and the snack bar always had a good bite to eat. The drinks bar also had a pretty good selection of drinks

You could pay a small fee for premium drinks in the piano bar which was good value for money Overall a great base to enjoy the charms of Montenegro

At other times of the day you can go to the bar and the staff will pour your drinks

Great hotel, very nice staff from the reception team to the cleaners. Rooms a little dated but everything was tidy and clean and didn't leave you feeling like you needed anything

Amazing view of the mountains and the bay from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was good for an all inclusive and the selection of drinks was great

They could do with a bit of a revamp but we're very clean, cleaners were always about but we only used them 3 times for our 10 night stay as we dont change our bedding at home everyday so why would you on holiday?! The restaurants are absolutely fantastic, each of the main 2 have a special each night and always plenty to choose from

The hotel has a seafront view, and is less than a 10 minute walk from the beach, with a many shops, restaurants, and cafes, located on the other side of the road, so there is plenty to choose from

I stayed for a week and the hotel was brilliant. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was tasty. The hotel was very clean, including my room. The facilities that the hotels offer is also fantastic

The service in the hotel was decent with the staff kind enough, a few staff were dismissive but we’ve concluded this may have been due to the language barrier. We opted for the half board (breakfast and dinner)

The atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly, and we truly felt at home. The kids had a great time, and we loved every moment. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience

They outline it’s due to Covid-19 reasons, however it may be nice for them to review this. There is a place across the road, ‘Fat Boy’ really nice burgers and chips incase you’re looking for a quick bite

We enjoyed the ample choice of tasty food and drinks in the restaurant. We would happily return here in future and definitely recommend it

If they have dinner buffet, it's overflowing with food and wine, all inclusive

(on receipt was one amount but pulled from bank bigger). In that moment I understood they really want for me to feel good. Also they called couple of times to places for us to plan our touristy plans

They even gave me back the money that the local post office overcharged me although they did not have to do it and I did not expext them to do it and didn’t even ask to do it

This has been a very relaxing stay. Tara Hotel staff are really helpful, attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, well presented, comfortable, with a lovely sea view

The staff in the restaurant were mostly quite miserable and didn’t seem very welcoming, but Dejan really stood out – he was kind, always smiling, and went out of his way to make our little boy laugh at every meal

Facilities-wise, the gym was out of order for the entire stay with no sign of being fixed, and the kids’ club room was technically open but unmanned – staff sat on their phones and no activities were running despite it being advertised

It was also strange that we were not offered drinks with our meals. If we wanted one, we had to go across the walk way to the bar and then walk back to the restaurant for our food

We were all inclusive guests and we could not get a drink at the bar as the bar team had to help in the restaurant. If I'm paying for all inclusive, I expect to be able to get a drink at any time

The room we were in was a superior and had a nice lounge, 2 bathrooms and a little balcony. The staff were grumpy but compliant and yiu never had to ask twice for anything

There was always something that you could find to eat but it was lukewarm at best. Great location in Budva and the walkway to old town was nice

Had bus stops outside to get to Sveti Stefan and the bus station was only a 10min walk

The cocktails were artificial and made from the press of a button and there was no sugar free mixer option but the local beer was good (even if the bar staff cant pour a pint)

Food is amazing, the restaurant is near beach. I would recommend it for a family anytime

The food is also very tasty and there are a huge variety of meals for every tastes. In the hotel there are lots of activities to do, a few restaurants, shops and even turkish massage

Michelle and I stayed in Hotel La Mer from the 12th to the 18th September 2024. The hotel is close to all amenities - beach, shops and sea

As a large family we stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 storey huge apartment, its size was impressive. Views from its 2 balconies were fantastic! All rooms, furniture and equipment are a bit old, but clean and fully functional

From there, each floor below takes you to the rooms, restaurant, reception, and finally to a beautiful pool with a jacuzzi. Just a few steps down and you’re on the beach

Air conditioners were weak, they need the refrigerant refills! Mini-kitchen is packed with utensils and pottery, there are oven and hob, large refrigerator, so you can cook a lot! I wish there was a microwave oven

The couple in charge of breakfast were lovely and made every morning a pleasure. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety — burek, eggs, milk, yogur, olives, and sweet pies to muesli, cakes and more

There is a nice small pool, towels are available in the clothes changing room. I did not try their breakfast, as I heard negative reviews. And I didn't even need, had lots of stuff in the refrigerator

The parking is on the roof top accessible from the highway, it is paid, 20 EUR per day - quite biting, and requires booking. But it is convenient, little chance to find free parking anywhere else

You can also hear everything your neighbours are doing, and doors are really really loud, it almost feels like someone just broke into your room. Unfortunately, we had two very unpleasant things that happened: 1

More questions are to the management of this hotel - how that happened that staff didn't know about construction (I doubt that they randomly decided to fix one random road without notifying anybody), and how one broken piece of washing machine made the laundry unusable - is there just one washing machine for the whole hotel, and how are the towels being washed if laundry is not working

One thing that was really bad are juices, they were reeeeally watered down, barely drinkable. We travelled off-season, and there was a lot of construction going on around, and it was really loud

We could not drive our car that day, essentially. Just by coincidence, we didn't need to go far, and decided to just walk to Budva. But imagine if we needed to go to the airport that day

There is only one road that connects the hotel to the main road. One day construction started on that road, and we could not exit hotel parking on a car, because it was blocked by them

And I could not get to Budva, because the car was blocked! In the end, I had to hand-wash my clothes (in a 4 star hotel that was kinda weird thing to do)

We did not take breakfast, as we got up very early, so we prepared breakfast ourselves or in a restaurant

I higly recommend this place ! Great area, very close to the beach. About Villa I can say only good words, our host Katharina is very kind and helpful person. Rooms are big, with all conveniences

Although, as already written earlier, you need to walk a little to the beach, for us this was not a significant minus, since it is very noisy near the beach and we preferred silence in the room :) Before checking in, we were warned that breakfasts are ordered from a nearby restaurant, so this is not was news to us

Parking near the beach is paid, but I don’t think this is something surprising, since it is difficult to find free parking in Europe, and you just don’t want to leave your car somewhere

Strongly recommended for family holidays. We were at Villa Allende from 3 till 16 June. The kitchen facility is well-equipped. The apartment was cleaned every day. The pool area is good for little kids and older ones
