The overall appearance of the hotel is dated.
The lift only went up to the 4th floor, so if you're above this you will have to lug your bags up flights of stairs.
The room we had was damp.
The bed slats kept slipping off the runners so the mattress would fall through when you turned over in the middle of the night.
The rooms had little noise insulation, so people chatting outside would wake you up when they walked by or were sitting outside on the shared terraces.
The Wi-Fi was dial up speed at best (if it worked at all).
There is no parking, the nearest place is some derelict land at the end of the promenade which is a nightmare to navigate to due to the volume of people walking down it (day or night). Don't drive to the hotel if you're not comfortable driving in confined spaces! Our hire car also got keyed in this car park the first night (Nice neighbourhood, NOT)! The alternative is a multi-storey about 15 minutes walk away.
We checked out early and found alternative accommodation, far far away from this place!
