Best Hotels in Herceg Novi

Being out on the water is the best way to see the bay. Stopping at places like Our Lady of the Rocks and seeing the old town of Kotor from the sea was a perfect experience

It’s famous for its therapeutic mud and the health institute, and walking along the long promenade towards Herceg Novi was one of my favorite things to do. The whole area felt very honest and welcoming

Walking around the nearby parks and seeing the pink sand beaches was just perfect. It’s easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Taking a cruise (or boat tour) around the Bay of Kotor was incredible

The Hotel & Igalo: Staying at the Iberostar Waves (the Bellevue) was a great experience. The hotel was perfect, with beautiful gardens and right on the beach

Visiting Sveti Stefan was a highlight. Even just looking at the island from the coast is world-class—it’s so iconic with its red-roofed stone houses

I also spent time in Igalo, which has a very interesting atmosphere

Montenegro is very suitable for vacation. The hotel has its own beach and pier. The price/performance ratio is also good.

Lovely hotel, great location and range of facilities. Bedroom (14) was airy, clean and large. It did not have a sea view and was near the garbage area, so one morning garbage lorry arrived around 5

The next day we were moved to the historical building in a beautiful bigger room with a better view. Out of season is the best time for a visit according to price and occupancy and crowding

The breakfast buffet offered incredible choices and you could also order omelette, poached eggs etc. We would happily recommend to others and we would stay there again

My husband and I were here for the second time and the staff gave us a wonderful surprise: a bottle of Prosecco and 2 packages of delicious chocolates! Breakfast was excellent! The first time we were unsatisfied with the room view of an ugly courtyard next to the residential building

Hotel Perla delivers and lives up to its good reputation. Friendly staff, always helpful. Rooms facing the sea and easy access to a 4 km. Here you can relax and enjoy or have excursions :-)

A 25-minute walk, along the lovely promenade, in one direction takes you to the beautiful old town, full of character and excellent restaurants – especially if you love fresh seafood (you’re in for a treat!)

There’s a “boardwalk” that runs along almost the whole shoreline so you’re in the right place staying here. The food portions are plentiful and the food itself is good

And talk about clean, the elevator was being wiped down top to bottom when I walked into it one evening. The location of this hotel is good

What mattered most to us was the location: somewhere peaceful to relax and unwind, yet only a short stroll into town. The views from the hotel’s dock were absolutely stunning, and we never had a problem finding a sunbed

And, the wait staff would be coming back and forth very aware of what was going on too. Obviously there wasn’t any monitoring so for us it ended up being a blemish on what would have been a perfect place to stay

Amazing location, just near by sea. Everything is meticulous, it has special vibe and atmosphere. Ana was just wonderful host, what made stay even more memorable. Anyone who wants great vacation, should it book it

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hedera Residences. Location is perfect very close to the sea with lots of amenities. Ana was a great Host along with the other staff they were always willing to help

Just stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel room and staff was amazing, staff were very helpful and dispite not getting many guest from the UK,which is common for the area, they all spoke very good English

As for the area, it's great for a peaceful week away, good food, the old town is lovely, lots of day trips available, and you can get to Dubrovnik on a day trip

The room was a suite in the third floor, I'd go the extra and get a room with a view, lovely place to sit in the evening. A walk with steps to and from the beach, but you can walk a little further and avoid the steps

The roof top pool was small but perfect and we sometimes had it to ourselves, the staff bring drinks up to you if required, amazing views from the pool

There was an unfriendly young man at the front desk, but on the other hand, a very welcoming lady. There's an excellent supermarket and bakery nearby. Convenient parking, if spaces are available

Good location for a base to travel all around with a rental car. Road is close by but the noise is not too bad despite having a room on 1st floor on roadside (it's out of season now)

Hotel well located outside the city center. Good breakfast and cleanliness. Good facilities, and easy parking.

Lunch/dinner menu has a lot of options that originally do not include gluten but cross-contanimation can be a thing despite the staff being knowledgeable on the topic. This was not affecting my review as such

The restaurant is decent, I recommed the grilled octopus, it was really nice. Gluten is not considered as such and especially on breakfast it is an issue (in case this has an effect on your trip planning)

Really nice staff, clean everywhere, ocean (or mountain) view. The road being further away or better sound-proofing + a pool in the spa as well would have rewarded full 5 stars

Luštica, as part of the coast with the least crowds, was a logical choice. Hotel Art Media was recommended to me by friends who travel quite often, and they were all right

Absolutely exceptional hospitality from the owners and all staff. They always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and were incredibly kind to our children

The room was clean and well-equipped. The accommodation is located in a small, quiet bay with its own private access to the sea, and a public beach is also nearby

Hotel on the beach! It has the best location! No noise! Meljine is a nice little quiet part of Herceg Novi municipality. The cafe is great, and the beach has everything one needs. The sea is crystal clear!

We asked for a dish that was not listed on the menu , and even that was not a problem- it was served for us during dinner time! Service level was over the top, the waiters were so friendly and attentive that we had a feeling we were in a luxury resort

Wonderful hotel. Great service, great food lovely rooms. only downside is there is no lift if you're on top floor which we were. Waiter's helped with our luggage. Beautiful walk on promenade. Free toiletries and sunbeds

An excellent beach with sun loungers and umbrellas at reasonable prices. The restaurant is also excellent, with a wide selection of dishes and a pleasant atmosphere in the shade of the beach

I just cannot describe how satisfied we were with our stay at this location. Hotel beach is being kept very clean and the water is crystal clear! Our kids had so much fund and we all enjoyed our vacation to the maximum

I recommend bringing fly repellent spray when you come. There is no convenience store nearby where you can shop for the room, but the property's additional food and beverage price list is very affordable

We had a very nice holiday with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly hosts. The private swimming area was very nice and quiet. Club music is heard from Igalo in the evenings, but not too disturbing

Hotel is renovated but it is not really good. Rooms are fine but ants are coming trough the holes on the windows and in some room sunblinds can't be closed becous they're broken

Nice and tidy hotel, quiet to relax. Huge parking provided with video surveillance. And everything is within the sports center with various activities. As far as the staff is concerned, this is a special story

The food is ok , beach is near but there aren't any kiosks near only one gas station where you don't have much to buy

A hotel for those who want to be a little farther away from the summer crowd. Great location, service, accommodation. In the immediate vicinity of the border crossing, so you can be a place to relax from the road

I love the whole thing about the apartment. From the host, the beautiful view of the boka bay and the location of the apartment. Very near to the beach and to the old town and city center.

Perfect view, there is everything in the apartments (even iron!). Friendly host. Very cozy. Would like to stay longer.

The owner and staff of the hotel couldn't do more. Rooms offer one of the best views available and offers fantastic sea food, historical buildings and plenty of local beaches around 60 meters from the hotel

Bozo was excellent. Such a lovely and peaceful place to stay. Wish we stayed there longer. Nice breakfast. The rooms were clean and the location was picture perfect.

The rooms are spotless with all of the compliments you'd expect such as a good sized fridge, washing facilities in house and breakfast is hearty! To top it off We were also helped with everything we could need and more including local shopping, transfers to the airport and got to experience some fantastic Montenegrin cuisine

Great view, close to shore (60 meters = 109 steps), good breakfast and very helpful host. Also, it's spotless clean, the rooms are spacious, there is a terrace and the kitchenette is well equipped

Maksim is a great little place. Clean, nice people, well-located. A short walk to the small beach which is perfect for a little swim and then it’s easy to get to town. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful

The rooms are tidy, they are cleaned every day. All praise for the woman who arranges the rooms very neatly, meticulously and responsibly doing her job. Every time he returns to the room, he brings a smile to his face

Some pastries, eggs in many ways, dry cumin, hot dogs, sausages, muesli, fruit, salads, coffee, juice. And of course all the compliments and huge greetings to the girls from the reception

Clean rooms with great air conditioning. Very helpful and friendly staff. In a lovely village right on the water behind the beach and marina. Easy short walk to the old town.

We were upgraded to a Seaview room with a large balcony, which we really appreciated. The manager Maja was excellent and very helpful, she also arranged a taxi on our departure

The room had a good view over the bay (although there was a derelict hotel just opposite the apartments). the room was a reasonable size, however I found the bed uncomfortable as I could feel the springs in the mattress

The location is perfect, central enough that you can get everywhere walking, and also quiet enough at night to have a restful sleep

Maja is doing a great job taking care of guests of Swiss Residente, even the most demanding ones, like myself :-) Beliana - who is only there during the high season - is very helpful and pleasant, always there to assist

The view is worth a million, if you take a room for two with a balcony, the bay is super visible. Very nice service, a nice girl Maya is always ready to help. The room for two is cramped, there are some disadvantages

In general, depending on how you look at it, the city is very close to the sea too. There is an Italian restaurant nearby. There is a noisy street below, if it does not bother you, go

The prices are a little above the prices in other places but it is not much to be a concern. The staff is good and speaks English which is good compared to other places who speak mainly "pretend English"

Food is good typical for the region with some Russian inclination. Majority of the guests are Russian. They offer hookah/nargile which is rare in the area

I only spent time in restaurant's garden in front of the hotel. Service was extraordinary. Waiter was very professional, with all sea food knowledge if you need recommendation.

We did not have air condition but room was cold because it was good oriented. I can said food is perfect in hotel! Also best thing is that chipest sunbath and sununbrela is in front of hotel

Once it was a great hotel founded in 1981 with glass modern architecture but nowadays it just have a spirit of passed days of its glory, still it has something creepy but charming, definitely something worth visiting it

Tried to enter, walked around the whole complex without any luck. There is a balcony on the first floor in the inner side of the building, I enter it through the open window, but the door to the corridor is closed

Basic There was no toilet paper, no shampoo, no soap. It was a very basic, cheap place to stay in.

It is directly across from the ferry operations but somehow extremely quiet, the small pool had my son entertained for hours, the staff will provide poolside service with drinks, the homemade cookies on arrival are *delightful*, the breakfast is so so good i wouid dare say skip some traditional Montenegrin food at restaurants bc this hotel has the cheese, prosciutto, pate, Ajvar… PLUS they offer...

So while you are walking on the road, drivers are good

There are terrific dining options less than a 4 min walk down the road (and there are sidewalks!) *Notable: parking is ＜2 min walk from hotel, and 80% of that includes no sidewalks and blind corners

The cook was also amazing, and we are grateful for the warmth and hospitality. My husband had called ahead to share that we were celebrating our honeymoon and asked for a surprise room decoration
