We hired cars from both airports and found the drives straightforward, even with the land border crossing if coming from Croatia

The facilities are good, with all public areas being clean, tidy and well maintained. Staff work hard to keep everything looking its best whilst managing guest interactions with efficiency, engagement and good humour

Views across to Igalo, Topla, Herceg Novi, Portonovi and Rose are great, especially at night. Rooms were tidy and comfortable, with wide beds and easy access to both filtered Hot and Cold water on each landing

The draught beer is very good, as are the white, red and rosé wine offerings. Soft drinks and cocktails are abundant. Service in the main restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner was consistently excellent

Guests come from many different countries, which is reflected in the food on offer. What I particularly admire is the effort made to showcase Mediterranean and Montenegrin cuisine

The downside is that this will not be a hotel for everyone. If stairs and steep paths present a challenge, then sadly this may not be the place for you

Very tasty breakfasts, we had enough of everything. Large indoor pool, saunas and a small gym. There is parking both on the street and under the building

My husband and I were here for the second time and the staff gave us a wonderful surprise: a bottle of Prosecco and 2 packages of delicious chocolates! Breakfast was excellent! The first time we were unsatisfied with the room view of an ugly courtyard next to the residential building

The rooms overlooking the sea are better than the rooms at the back, because the rooms at the back have a river or stream that needs maintenance and have a bad smell. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea

Lovely hotel, great location and range of facilities. Bedroom (14) was airy, clean and large. It did not have a sea view and was near the garbage area, so one morning garbage lorry arrived around 5

The breakfast buffet offered incredible choices and you could also order omelette, poached eggs etc. We would happily recommend to others and we would stay there again

The picture of the room is not clear. We booked a superior sea view room. The picture we saw was with a balcony, but we gave a room without a balcony. This is controversial and I feel cheated

I didn't have the chance to sleep at Institute Igalo, however I interacted with the person at the reception in order to help me with some matters. I just wanted to say that I received great support and felt very welcomed

Marvelous! It's not enough to say the food is delicious, it's fan-tas-tic! They even prepare wonderful vegetarian and vegan meals. The staff is so willing to please

I haven't tried the massages and therapies, but, considering their tradition, they must be the same quality as the food

Grandioso brutalist architecture is somewhat a reminder of the former glory and wealth of the 80s socialist Yugoslavia. I had room on the 7th floor with beautiful views of the bay

Once marvelous complex,built approximately 40 years ago,still standing proud even though no investment or refurbishment has been done since it was built

The WiFi was very unreliable, and we were also surprised to be charged for parking despite there being plenty of empty spaces. In the end, you do get what you pay for

Beautiful experience, perfect location. Just Wifi connection was so bad. They even gave us 2 extra beds for our kids without any extra charge.

Amazing location and plenty of activities for the kids. The pool has an amazing view and the breakfast buffet is great however the wifi isn’t the best. Definitely want to come back again!

The only issue I had with this hotel is the pool area. The pool itself is on the smaller side which is absolutely fine…it’s clean and the water is the perfect temperature

And, the wait staff would be coming back and forth very aware of what was going on too. Obviously there wasn’t any monitoring so for us it ended up being a blemish on what would have been a perfect place to stay

There’s a “boardwalk” that runs along almost the whole shoreline so you’re in the right place staying here. The food portions are plentiful and the food itself is good

The last thing it was was a quiet area! The disappointing part was that the parents of the kids were fully aware even though the signs were right in front of them

My issue was that it’s supposed to be a quiet area that doesn’t allow balls, toys, loud noise, jumping in etc and there are signs posted stating this

And talk about clean, the elevator was being wiped down top to bottom when I walked into it one evening. The location of this hotel is good

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hedera Residences. Location is perfect very close to the sea with lots of amenities. Ana was a great Host along with the other staff they were always willing to help

This place definitely exceeded our expectations. Apartments are super nice and clean, balconies big with nice view. To the beach there is only 3 mins walk, and also there is a private beach for hotel guests

But breakfast- it's out of this world! I've stayed in many hotels all over the world but this breakfast was by far the best. All together, this place is amazing and we will definitely come visit again

A lovely hotel very clean and the rooftop terrace amazing! Check it out any time of day and you’ll get an amazing view. The beach access is good free sun beds and nice cafe on the water

The room was a suite in the third floor, I'd go the extra and get a room with a view, lovely place to sit in the evening. A walk with steps to and from the beach, but you can walk a little further and avoid the steps

Just stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel room and staff was amazing, staff were very helpful and dispite not getting many guest from the UK,which is common for the area, they all spoke very good English

As for the area, it's great for a peaceful week away, good food, the old town is lovely, lots of day trips available, and you can get to Dubrovnik on a day trip

The roof top pool was small but perfect and we sometimes had it to ourselves, the staff bring drinks up to you if required, amazing views from the pool

Nice breakfast, disappointing that despite being there for seven nights and on the first morning they run out of black tea and even though I mentioned this it was not restocked for the remainder of our stay and a shop 100 yards up the road sold it

There was an unfriendly young man at the front desk, but on the other hand, a very welcoming lady. There's an excellent supermarket and bakery nearby. Convenient parking, if spaces are available

Good location for a base to travel all around with a rental car. Road is close by but the noise is not too bad despite having a room on 1st floor on roadside (it's out of season now)

The spa center was out of order, and the breakfast varied greatly from day to day: one day a fantastic buffet, the next a very meager à la carte breakfast

I spent five wonderful days at Hotel Art Media and it truly felt like a little paradise. Surrounded by greenery, with crystal-clear sea and a peaceful atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind

On the day of our arrival, they didn't hesitate to wait for us until late in the evening. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style, with tasty food and a varied selection that changed daily

The room was clean and well-equipped. The accommodation is located in a small, quiet bay with its own private access to the sea, and a public beach is also nearby

Hotel on the beach! It has the best location! No noise! Meljine is a nice little quiet part of Herceg Novi municipality. The cafe is great, and the beach has everything one needs. The sea is crystal clear!

We asked for a dish that was not listed on the menu , and even that was not a problem- it was served for us during dinner time! Service level was over the top, the waiters were so friendly and attentive that we had a feeling we were in a luxury resort

I just cannot describe how satisfied we were with our stay at this location. Hotel beach is being kept very clean and the water is crystal clear! Our kids had so much fund and we all enjoyed our vacation to the maximum

Me and my family visited hotel RR earlier today and were pleasantly surprised with great portion sizes, friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere. situated on the Adriatic coast it’s a must visit if you’re in the area

I recommend bringing fly repellent spray when you come. There is no convenience store nearby where you can shop for the room, but the property's additional food and beverage price list is very affordable

We had a very nice holiday with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly hosts. The private swimming area was very nice and quiet. Club music is heard from Igalo in the evenings, but not too disturbing

Some more (vegetarian) options or different kinds of bread, toast, croissants. But really recommend this place

Hotel is renovated but it is not really good. Rooms are fine but ants are coming trough the holes on the windows and in some room sunblinds can't be closed becous they're broken

The food is ok , beach is near but there aren't any kiosks near only one gas station where you don't have much to buy

We’re grateful to Hotel Ellena in Montenegro for welcoming us despite our late-night walk-in when we couldn’t enter Croatia. The breakfast fried eggs were delicious!

Our hotel host was very friendly and provided us with sweet pastry and coffee every morning free of charge, he gave us directions to the local sites and made sure we had a space available for our car

The rooms are spotless with all of the compliments you'd expect such as a good sized fridge, washing facilities in house and breakfast is hearty! To top it off We were also helped with everything we could need and more including local shopping, transfers to the airport and got to experience some fantastic Montenegrin cuisine

Lovely hotel - warm reception, friendly and hospitable people and spacious, clean rooms. 2 mins down the steps to the waterfront and plenty of little shops nearby for essentials. Only wish we'd stayed longer.

The owner and staff of the hotel couldn't do more. Rooms offer one of the best views available and offers fantastic sea food, historical buildings and plenty of local beaches around 60 meters from the hotel

Maksim is a great little place. Clean, nice people, well-located. A short walk to the small beach which is perfect for a little swim and then it’s easy to get to town. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful

There was a fridge with a compact area on top to make tea and coffee. There were a couple of bottles of water and some beer in the fridge which you could purchase

in general the accomodation needs some tlc and renovating. It is only 10 minutes from the old town, supermarket and shops. The bus stop is only 15 minutes walk

The prices are a little above the prices in other places but it is not much to be a concern. The staff is good and speaks English which is good compared to other places who speak mainly "pretend English"

I only spent time in restaurant's garden in front of the hotel. Service was extraordinary. Waiter was very professional, with all sea food knowledge if you need recommendation.

Food is good typical for the region with some Russian inclination. Majority of the guests are Russian. They offer hookah/nargile which is rare in the area

They have a local band who plays old American rock songs, European and local at night. Overall it makes for a pleasant evening

Food & service is excellent! I had a steak, it was perfectly cooked. Very high quality meat, tender.

Good food, great service, better location. Not the cheapest €15+ per main, but value enough.
