Sandra was such a great host. Stranger Tides Hostel on Dubrota, just in the outskirts of Kotor, is a fantastic hostel. Stranger Tides is possibly the nicest and most comfortable hostel that I have ever stayed at! The rooms are clean, with AC and places to store your belongings safely, and the bunkbeds are constructed in a way that gives you privacy even in a 6 beds room. I really struggle to understand why this hostel rating is only 4.5/5. I can't fault it. Just awesome. Very warming stuff, and always making activities for people to gather. I just can't wait to be back in such an amazing city, and it can't be anywhere but in this hostel. We stayed only two nights, as it was a short break and we had to go back to Spain, but would have definetely stayed a week longer...

Great hostel with a good social side. The staff are the best here too! The only downside here was that there was just one bathroom for 10 beds so queues to use the bathroom are common. Still highly recommend this place to anyone!

The staff and Djordje were very kind and willing to help! The hostel is a great place to meet people & I recommend for solo travelers because of all of the activities. There is AC and a full kitchen. Great location- walk out of the hostel onto the Bay, 10 minute walk to Old Town, and 18 minute walk to the bus station.

Had such a beach blast my few day reservation turned into a week. The property is directly on the beach so you can soak in the ocean all day then SEND IT on the bar crawls at night One of the most social hostels I've been to. Feels like partying with a huge group of friends the whole time. Just remember it's better to look good than to feel good!

The location is the best. Directly at the beach, nearby a supermarket and fastfood, even a restaurant. They have an additional brand new building which I wpuld recommend. The staff there is amazing. Centrum is central of Old Town! Easy to get to with lots of shops around. Great communal kitchen and dining room for sharing adventures and food. Central also means you see hear clearly. Staff went out of their way for me! 2 Thumbs Up!😊

Really comfy beds. Everything was super clean. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel, albeit there are common areas (kitchen, living room). We were there during off season, so not many people which suited us just fine. It's right in the middle of the old town.

One of the best hostels I stayed in in Kotor. Sandra was the nicest person ever, she made my check out super smooth, she gave me a locker to store my belongings until taking my night bus, not only but also gave me full access to the hostel to use its facilities without any extra charge, I also used her advice a lot on what to do and where to go. As for Ivan, upon check-in he threw in PLENTY of ideas...

Great beds and they provide lockers and keys, towels and soaps. Central location in the old town. Great common room and kitchen also. Not a party hostel but great for solo and small groups!

This hostel is located in a VI century building and has a perfect location, great staff and is very clean and tidy. They also have lockers where you can leave your stuff after you check out. Highly recommend.

Old Town Hostel Kotor is one of those places that just gets it right. Great rooms, very clean, super central location inside the old town, and beautiful views that don’t get old. Everything is walkable and the atmosphere is relaxed, not forced. The crew really makes the difference. Milan is incredibly helpful and always around if you need anything. We went in winter to escape the crowds while still enjoying the town and beautiful scenery. The heater works very well and there are extra blankets when needed. It was a great little home base while exploring and cozy to stay in when the weather got too heavy.

An excellent location and a really social atmosphere! I felt very welcome here, and the staff were very responsive to all of our questions during our stay.

The staff are really nice and helpful during my stay in Kotor. The kitchen area is nice and also the common area downstairs. It is a good area to meet other travellers. The hostel is located in front of the water. It is nice to just sit and see the boats. It is a walking distance to the old town, no need to ride a bus. And ut is adjacent to the best bbq place in Kotor. The rooms are with many bunkbeds...

Pupa Hostel is located right in the harbour with easy access to bus terminal, the old town and a favorite swimming spot. It also features very friendly receptionist and a cosy common area with shared kitchen.

The location is excellent, just outside the old town right on the waterfront. Dorm room was fine, get a lockable drawer each. There was no bin in the room and no way to dry your hands in the bathroom, also there is hardly any privacy to take a shower, only a flimsy shower curtain you can partially see through.

If I were to describe my experience at Hostel Pupa it would be “Great Balkan Vibes”! Kristina and Cevo were such awesome hosts. They provided with more than just an overview when I checked in before New Years eve. I got to know Old Town Kotor city really well. Towels are free and each room is very well heated. It has a good view of the coast from the room top. Budget friendly rooms. The staff is very informative and friendly. Met some nice people there. Most of the spots are walking distance from the hostel.

Other guests not very respectful nor polite but it's something that could happen in every hostel. Restroom not super clean and rooms' walls very thin. On the other hand the Staff was super nice and welcoming and also for the price you pay you'll have everything you need!!!

Nice accomodations when we drive to Albania.

It has an amazing view. There is alot of restaurants and markets close if you need. It also has a decent swimming pool. The place is close to many beautiful and old places the you shouldn't miss.

We had a great time there. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The rooms are good but objects are a bit old. It is very close to the sea, just takes 5 minutes down. Above all, the owners are pretty, they offer handmade coffee all the time and there is a cosy atmosphere.
