Although the reception department has good communication, there are some difficulties for long-term guests. Even long-term guests of the hotel's restaurant do not make any negotiation. I am a prepaid guest for 30 days, and the F&B department does not accept that I order food from the hotel and pay every 2 or 3 days. The lighting in the room is dimmer than usual. For those who work from home, the inconvenient thing is that the internet connection is not good. In addition, the F&B department even asked for 1000Ks to rent 2 empty plates, 2 spoons, and 1 bowl.

Although the room has a window, it is so close to the building next door that it is almost like there is no window. However, the waiter is really nice, with a good attitude and enthusiasm.

It is a large hotel in the city center of Yangon. The rooms are clean and tidy, well-equipped, and provide breakfast. The lunch and dinner on the top floor are also good and not expensive. The front desk receptionist is also very enthusiastic. When there is an occasional power outage, the hotel will quickly start their own generator. Recommended!

Extraordinary experience staying at Botahtaung hotel for about 2 weeks. Best hotel in Yangon!! Excellent hospitality by the staff. All of them are very polite, well behaved and extremely sincere. The food is also excellent in this hotel. I felt very comfortable staying here. No complains for anything. I am thankful to the total and their staff including Nanda Ag ( Supervisor) , Graham, Nyein Chem Ag , Ngan Lin Htet to name a few. I'll come back to this hotel on my next trip and would recommend all the people who come to Yangon to stay in this hotel. Thank you.
