If you're looking for a place with nice room and nice breakfast near downtown, here is the best place with fair price. I like the breakfast here and restaurant's menu are fair price with good taste and enough portion
Overall is OK. The room is a bit small but enough for 2 people. Breakfast is average. Have a problem with electricity that always shut down. Staffs are friendly and try to help me anything.
Really nice view while walking into the room being greeted by the shwedagon pagoda, one thing I really like is that they have a sports channel for people who like watching f1; including me
I recently stayed from May 22nd to 25th, and had a great experience! The room and food were of good quality. The staff and management were friendly and welcoming.

This will be my always choice if I want to take rest in downtown. And 3 minutes walk to 19th street which people well know bar street in Yangon
The bathroom is not clean and has stains. When taking the elevator on each floor, the waiting area for the elevator does not have air conditioning. The restaurant air conditioner is not cool

One of the best hotel I visited as a solo traveler with pool on 12th floor and bar with several variations
All good highly recommended value for money 💰
Good location easily accessible to various tourist attractions check it out when you visit Myanmar 🇲🇲
I really liked the hotel: the staff were very friendly, the room was simple yet well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent.
With a roof top bar and swimming pool, this hotel is a decent find. Location is especially very convenient.
BUT bath towel provided was torn! The pillow cover seems black! and my room slippers seems to disappear daily!
my child blanket was tucked into the bed and i found a bug on the bed!
I went out for the day and came back in the evening and found food bits on the floor near the door and there were ants around it!
Best is when we sent our clothes for outside laundry service, it was delivered back to the...
They did implement a slightly odd rule this time where you have to leave your passport at the reception for immigration purposes, but oh well
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed! A+++ Old world charm in Yangon and being over 125 years, it was like staying in history. From the rooms and especially the staff are beyond reproach
An old colonial style hotel, charming furnitures and decorations. The service was perfect, staff were very kind. We were very happy about our staying
Some shortcomings: the staff appear very young, inexperienced and with poor English, resulting in the wrong response to requests - half an hour to get cornflakes for breakfast; the lighting in the suite was poor, with several lamps but few overhead lights, making it impossible to read in bed; the bathroom shower had little water pressure and was difficult to use; we couldn't use the bath as there was...
The food was also excellent with one of the best breakfasts in Asia
Very nice staff, and beautiful room !
The management should really consider to focus on guests service and sincere hospitality and that they can have customers who are willing to pay at any price rather that worked any way possible to cut the cost and let the staff to deal with insufficient amenities and services

Great for couples, families and business trips, this is the best place to stay. From peacocks 🦚 in the garden, classic fresh water garden swimming pool to luxurious rooms
I have just spent 3 nights at the Governor’s Residence hotel in Yangon. It has been spectacular, the old colonial style building with teak floors and beautiful gardens creates a miniature Raffles atmosphere
This is ‘gem’ of a hotel, tucked away in the diplomatic quarter of the city. If you want a classic Burmese hotel, this is the place. Quality service, the staff are friendly and welcoming
Saturday and Sunday you can do yoga upstairs which was one of the nicest (indoor) places I’ve practiced. Oh, there is a beautiful pool too
Had an amazing time at Governor’s residence with my son Charlie and family. Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful location in the heart of the diplomatic quarter
We have recently stayed at the Governor’s Residence for 6 nights and cannot recommend this historic hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful building, in such a peaceful setting and in an excellent location for site seeing

The staff is friendly. The swimming pool is clean. The inside of the room is clean. Massage facilities are good. Breakfast is average. Fitness facilities need to be improved. It is good overall (cost-effectiveness).
It is close to the airport and the breakfast is good. The facilities, such as the swimming pool, are also good. Although it is not a route where regular buses run, there are taxis waiting all the time
The staff are very enthusiastic and help to call a car to the airport. It's relatively close to the airport and there's a golf course next to it
The room is clean and spacious. The food is delicious. The service is good. The staff is excellent.
The location is a little remote and I'm of a certain age, but the price is here

Common feedback highlights its 'excellent location' as a major plus, while potential downsides include 'can be a bit noisy at night' and 'roads can be quite congested during peak hours'
I particularly enjoyed the vibes - it looked straight out of a movie! The staff were all helpful, they even packed our breakfast since our flight was early
This hotel is ideal for first-time visitors and travelers who enjoy a lively atmosphere and convenience
You can also immersed in the experience of trying traditional tanaka (face cream) at the lobby
It's a good hotel. It's efficient , and convenient. Good for short stop over or so.
It was a good stay, but the AC was not good. It was 26* all night haha.

We came here last weekend for Music box. It's excellent sounds. Place is nice & clean. Good service. Love the Sitting plan & deco. Worth a try...
I Only stopped in to use the ATM machine and to pop into the rest room before braving the shewedagon pagoda. Don't use the shewedagon rest rooms I suggest
The Yangon International hotels guest area was very very clean and guest friendly. The Staff were welcoming and helpful
A great place to enjoy yangon night life.
Located near to Shwedagon Pagoda, People's park, downtown and shopping malls. A number of restaurants, pub & Karaoke in same compound. Good parking space.
Worth to be noted is the rooftop Sky Bar - a really big multiple storey place with multiplr open and closed terraces, offering great views to the city and Shwedagon pagoda - in fact, this is may be the nearest unobstructed view to it

The swimming pool is not too big but within the acceptable dimension. The restaurant is a bit short out of the standard, but then again for a fairly new Hotel there is always a room for improvement
Another major advantage is the hotel's location—just a quick 5-minute drive to the airport, which was incredibly convenient for my travel plans
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Airport Avenue Hotel in Yangon, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations
Overall, I highly recommend the Airport Avenue Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service in Yangon
The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of travel
The service was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable

The service was good and the staff were always smiling and kind. I would like to use it again.
The pillows were like bricks, there were ants and cockroaches in the rooms. We stayed there only one night, but I couldn't sleep because I am afraid of insects. The staff was helpful and spoke English ok.

This hotel is okay, the front desk service is good, but the surrounding configuration is not very good, you can take a taxi when you go out to the main road, but it usually doesn't stop, it's better to call a taxi on your mobile phone

Good location. Close to the main road but in a quiet location. The price is cheap.

The place is a grace with splendor and majestic in the morning but in the evening after the sun is gone, the place turns creepy. All the staff are smiling at you as if they know something about you
Some people will smoke and ignore you. And it's creepy and chilling like the dark cornor of something unknown. But wait, the rooms are so good and its a true value for money. Rooms are clean and good overall
Good location with nice clean rooms and reasonable room charges with free Wi-fi and breakfast for all guests.

Comfy room and big bathroom (the shower is amazing!). There a lot of options for the breakfast, but the western section isn’t so good (at least they have bread and eggs)
The YaYa’s menu is delicious, and the room service is fast. All the staff is very helpful
Don’t expect too much from the amenities, as the hotel is half the price of others with similar facilities—which is why it’s a good option😊
The breakfast buffet had limited options but was still decent —- They have a section where you can ask a staff member to cook an egg/omelet for you, but I didn’t explore the other options (breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is great if you have early morning plans...
The hotel has a gym, sauna, and pool. The room includes a TV, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, and complimentary water and coffee…. The only downside was that hot water is not available 24 hours during my stay…
I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing only so if you’re concern with this, you can message them first…
It’s still a good place to stay, even if it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, as Grab is available at a very reasonable price for getting to the places you want to visit
In this hotel only one girl spoke English when I was checking in but when I come and ask to help me with bus ticket booking nobody could help. The people who were on reception had very poor English

I really like the building and furniture in this hotel. I chose a room with a window overlooking the city, perfect. The bedrooms and facilities are also very attractive. I also really like the bathroom, it's interesting
The Hotel is located in the heart of Yangon. The rooms are very pretty and clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful
Should you have any troubles with your travels there is also a nice lady that works in a little travel office in the Hotel
Breakfast with good taste on the top floor. Oh yes, hotel owner and staff are very friendly and help us in many ways
The hotel is very well located near a big shopping center and Chinatown. The rooms are well equipped but there is no lift to the reception (1st floor) or higher floors. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Great little hotel, centrally located. Small rooms, but comfortable, gotta walk up the steps to your floor. Internet sucks but in Myanmar, that's what you must expect

First time staying here for a business trip, and my overall impression is: the facilities are quite new, the environment is good, breakfast is plentiful, and it offers great value for money
Plus, there's no traffic congestion, making it convenient for getting around and to the airport
Wonderful hotel with amazing staff, the service is really great and an amazing sky bar
The hotel is located at a good spot with many restaurants and shops around. The reception staff are all very friendly and helpful
The room was very clean. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time.
Pretty solid hotel for the price, only bad part is the breakfast is pretty dissapointing.
