Monte Bello Guest House

June 17-18 and July 1-2

I had the opportunity to stay at the Monte Bello Guest House on two occasions for one night each stay before and after spending 16 days touring the landscapes and wildlife parks of southern Namibia. My room on each stay was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The guest house has a very large and spacious garden area with inground pool. There was a large breakfast area where guests can enjoy a continental style of breakfast along with made to order eggs. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was also a very friendly dog. I have no hesitation in recommending the Montebello Guest House to anyone looking for a great place to stay when visiting Windhoek, Namibia.

We had an amazing stay at Montebello ! Loni, Julia and their team were super friendly and super helpful. Nice atmosphere and tasteful breakfast, you can have your washing done with no hassle. Accomodation also very clean and the staff also very friendly ! Would definately stay here again and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a place to stay for the night or longer.

In one word: Excellent! Nice and modern rooms with everything you need. Furthermore, it's super-clean and the garden with pool area is just perfect to relax. We had an amazing breakfast - the widest choice of bread and bread rolls we found in Southern Africa so far. And you must try the freshly brewed Cappuccino! In addition, the wonderful owners/staff made our stay as pleasant as possible. We thank Loni and Ulla so much for everything. Whenever we come back to Windhoek, this is the place to stay. 5 thumbs up!

It's a great, quiet establishment. We used it as a stop over to Botswana. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Has everything you need. Definitely recommended​
