We had an amazing stay at Montebello ! Loni, Julia and their team were super friendly and super helpful. Nice atmosphere and tasteful breakfast, you can have your washing done with no hassle. Accomodation also very clean and the staff also very friendly ! Would definately stay here again and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a place to stay for the night or longer.

It's a great, quiet establishment. We used it as a stop over to Botswana. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Has everything you need. Definitely recommended​

The place is clean I like the kitchen when you do self catering

The location is well position between the city and other suburb. a self catering is what i required at the first place. All meet our expectation.

Enjoyed my stay with family, comfortable, very big dining area and swimming pool to cool yourself in. Loved it.

The room we got was very clean. The room had a mini fridge, a shower. It comes with clean towels and toilet paper. The hospitality is great! Staff is friendly. Theres a swimming pool and a dining area out in the open. Id recommend this to anyone! Its great and affordable!

Cosy and comfortable Guesthouse in Windhoek. Situated in Avis, very quiet and well kept. Defenitely the place to relax, good for leisure and business travelers.

The place is amazing, has a vintage feel to it. In a quite area unless there is a event happening at the party world which is 500m right in front of the guest house. It is peaceful and relaxing. this is a nice place, a bit dated, but maintained alright. The room had a kitchen and a sofa with a table, it was spacious, more like a studio apartment. The breakfast was nice, the service was good, however, one towel, the big one, got dirty so I left it on the floor so they could change it in the morning, but I later found the same towel hung in my bathroom - probably for me to use again. Big place. Only had a problem with the size of rooms and kitchen. They need to do some renovations.

Supper beautiful place, wonderful rooms. Minor renovations required and perhaps the cleaning team need to understand their roles to do it a bit more honestly. I will definitely go back again, I recommend double rooms, 24B or 16 to my friends.

The day I arrived I had the impression I was not really welcome. But it changed the next day. I was feeling I was welcome. The breakfast was exceptional. And so much I couldn't eat it all.

After arriving to Windhoek and understanding that the guesthouse I booked for my trip does not exist, I booked a room at Essence of Africa in Hochland park and transferred there immediately. We recently visited Namibia for a couple weeks in Sept 2016 and stayed at the Hilltop Guesthouse for 1 night at the start and stop of our trip, finding this to be a good place to kickoff and finish visits to Namibia for those flying in/out of Windhoek. Our reservation was made many months in advance through the travel agent we worked with, Discover Namibia Safari & Tours, who recommended this establishment...

The room was very nice and we liked the hotel setup. Breakfast was a dream, very special and good and wifi was good as well. The people were friendly and helpful. There is a security guard watching the premises. We found the hotel to be a bit far from Windhoek city, if you do not have a car.

Friendly staff, clean and relatively spacious rooms. Air-conditioning is definitely sub par as the units are too small for the rooms. Anyone who knows Windhoek knows that air-conditioning can make a huge difference in the comfort of your stay.

Perfect! For us probably the best Guesthouse experience while our stay in Namibia, friendly, incredible view, clean and a bit of home away from home! The best part (among many other things) was the breakfast: served on the veranda in front of your room, fresh and lovely arranged. So just perfect, thanks, we ll be back for sure!

This place is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay! Warm and welcoming hosts, comfortable beds, gorgeous views. And the breakfast! It was the best! There is also gated parking with a 24-hour security guard. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Windhoek.

Very Good Close to Mall, Breakfast is not included in price, only find that out the next day. But it is indeed a very good buffet breakfast. Overall very clean and neat.

Great hotel for 1 night, next to a large shopping centre

Perfectly located in the central city of Windhoek. Very nicely equipped tents and campsites with good facilities. Bar and restaurant well equipped

The tents are magnificent. The personell very friendly and the Camp is lovely. You can go on a hike by yourself and see the Giraffes and antilopes from upclose. Pool area is beautiful and refreshing. Distance from airport is perfect after a long flight. Only thing I wonder is if the animals have enough space to roam. Feeding the giraffes in the morning is happily not gaurenateed as they are wild animals...

Our stay was fine. The pool is the best part. The staff were lovely as well, if not perhaps enough of them. Dinner seemed overpriced for what we got. The night was cold (to be expected), therefore the tent got cold (to be expected), and one of our bed heaters wasn’t working (unfortunate). We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect "after or before" traveling from/to the Airport... The Breakfast with the Giraffe is amazing. We enjoyed it all to the fullest.

Very nice high quality camp. Everything is to a high standard, from cleanliness (probably the cleanest pool in Namibia) to the very friendly staff. We felt immediately at home. Everything was very unvomplicated and therefore made our stay very relaxing. A special experience is the visit of the Orix and Giraffes directly at the camp for breakfast. If we visit Namibia again we will be back

Very nice accomodation for us on day of arrival in Namibia and on the way to Swakupmund. Closeby Windhoek, reachable - close to highway. Nice food and fabulous meeting with all animals during breakfast.

It is a really nice place to stay at. The room was big, offered everything we need. There was a nice bed and good working AC for example. The food was also very good here and we drank some nice wines too. There was a lot of parking space which was good since this was our first day in our huge car which we had to get used to.

we stayed there in July 2025 for one night with our family. The lodge is located ideally when you’re heading further north. The owners and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is extraordinary. Great place to stay.

The Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is superbly located just north of Windhoek, on the edge of the city but also in the countryside. Their food, from breakfast through lunch and dinner, is delicious and the portions are big. The highlight however are the rooms, which are spacious and set away from the main lodge, for a quiet getaway.

Great campground which provides glamping service, quite spacious tents, with safety boxes. The best part is that blankets have electrical heaters in them! The toilet and shower facilities are nice. The place has also a nice bar and swimming pool and the staff is friendly and willing to help

Stopped over for a quick breakfast en route through Windhoek. Nice setup and good vibe, and one of the few places that is open for breakfast that early. Food was generally good, but I have probably had a better eggs Benedict elsewhere before.

One of the (if not the) most scenic and relaxing places to spend a lazy day. A good mix of people, friendly and peaceful atmosphere, dogs and kids running around. Does concerts. Good food and drinks

This is NOT Swiss Chalets. It is my sister's house where we visited. Her neighbour is Swiss Chalets. We did not stay there.

It's an OK place for an overnight. Breakfast is served between 7-9, we requested it for 7.30, cook only arrived with groceries after 8.....

Quiet atmosphere, clean environment, well-equipped rooms, great pool. Breakfast options limited, parking space a bit small, friendly staff. TV options very limited for young kids.

Nice clean rooms, large pool, quiet suburb. Breakfast options are lacking, however, and the beds are a tad small for two adults to share.
