Our two families decided to spend a night at Hotel Chautari, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience for everyone.

We were traveling with five kids, and the hotel made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The kids especially loved the play area, which gave them plenty of space to run around and have fun.

One of the highlights of our stay was the campfire and barbecue with music organized by the hotel. It created a warm and memorable evening for both families to relax, enjoy the mountain atmosphere, and spend quality time together.

The dinner, breakfast and snacks were absolutely delicious, with a great selection of food that everyone enjoyed. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality. The manager and the entire hotel staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

Overall, it was a wonderful family experience, and we highly recommend Hotel Chautari to anyone visiting Nagarkot—especially families looking for a comfortable stay with great service and a welcoming environment. 🌄🔥🍽️

The Hotel Rooms were nice and clean and amazing views. Hotel Staff were really good to name Mr Ghanshyam GM And Vishal Front office supervisor were so kind and good human beings also. Even the Watchman and waiters were good people.
Highly recommended to spend time in this beautiful Nagarkot and witness the mother nature.

A Peaceful Mountain Getaway with Exceptional Service!
I recently stayed at Hotel Chautari in Nagarkot, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort with authentic Himalayan hospitality, this is it.
Here are the highlights of my stay:
Exceptional Staff: The service here is top-notch. The staff members are incredibly warm, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Their hospitality truly makes a difference.
Family-Friendly Ambiance: The hotel has a great atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the dedicated playing area for kids, which kept the little ones entertained while the adults relaxed and enjoyed the views.
Delicious Food: Every meal we had was fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared—definitely some of the best dining options I’ve found in the Nagarkot area.
Great Vibes: The overall ambiance is peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to escape the city noise and soak in the mountain air.
Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a relaxing retreat. I will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in a balcony mountain view room in the new building and it was amazing! The reception team (along with the managing director Mr. Badri Prasad Maka) gave us a very warm welcome, helped us to our room, personally arranged our phones with Wifi and made sure we knew how we could access assistance if needed and when the dining room would be open throughout our stay. The room was immaculately clean, very comfortable U.S. quality mattress and bedding, refrigerator and electric kettle with tea and coffee (Nescafe, but its Nepal!), the bathroom was well equip with toiletries and the shower was amazing with a huge ceiling mount shower head that had tons of hot water with great water pressure (best in all of our world travels actually!).
The mountain views from here are awesome and we were blessed with clear weather to see it all! The hotel is located in a great secluded area but also easily accessible to walk into town. It was great and we would definitely recommend this to our friends!

The owner cheated me by adding additional 13% taxes both on food and accommodation during my stay for five days. When I checked in I was not informed about any additional taxes. Later I came to know that it is illegal in Nepal to charge taxes on food and accommodation from the guest. I tried to contact the owner but he didn’t refund my money. They are running a fraud business

Great view - a wide view of the peaks from inside your hotel room. The rooms have glass panels for entering the balcony - so you can have a great view from your room itself. Rooms are spacious, have AC heating (but was inadequate). But there were some things or the other out of service in the rooms. (Small issues but nevertheless enough to cause inconvenience). The pricing was ok and the food was just ok.

If you are looking to spend some quality time with your friends or family, just go for it. Booking is recommended for the weekend stays.
Good view of the Himalayas and the best thing you will get a glance of sunrise just from the balcony of the rooms.
Overall, it was a pleasure staying at Hotel Chautari.

I stayed here in 2019. The view was just amazing from here. Such a lovely location to view the Mount Everest. But there were communication gaps between the hotel staffs, for which we suffered. Besides there was no telephone in our room, so we couldn't contact the hotel reception and staffs for any need. Otherwise their behavior was polite.
