The room was okay, the beds are comfy and soft. The bathroom would have been better if the shower door actually closed as it leaked from the bottom and thanks to the 2cm gap between the hinges. There is no safe place to leave your baggage as we were instructed to put our bags on top of the vending machine in the reception, with no tag system to identify it was ours. We declined.

Rooms are extremely small and there is no lift makes it harder to get to the top floor especially when the stairs are steep.

The location is fantastic and the staff are friendly, but the hotel itself is very old and there's no elevator. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers, as lugging a large suitcase up the stairs would be quite difficult. You get what you pay for, and it just goes to show how expensive Amsterdam is.

The best location we could ask for in Amsterdam, plus very affordable.
The only cons are that there's no elevator, but that goes with all the old buildings in the area anyways.
Really enjoyed the stay.

Location is pretty central which came in handy as we just needed a place near Amsterdam central. It was a quick and easy check in and check out. No trouble there. Upon arrival to our room you could feel the literal chill in there as the heating was not working and they didn’t bother to tell us and it was freezing cold inside. The AC / heating made such a loud noise all night and could barely have a good nights sleep. Lastly the sheets were clearly not washed properly as you could see stains on it. But overall if u wanna stay close to central this is the one but at what cost??

The room was quite clean, but it's really not suitable for winter stays – it was too cold. The air conditioning didn't work well, and even the small heater they gave me didn't help. When I asked the front desk for an extra blanket, they wouldn't give me one.

The hotel is very easy to find, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. It has complete amenities, including restaurants, bars, and 24-hour service. I highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel because it's close to the train station. The narrow stairs and lack of an elevator are a major drawback; I wouldn't recommend it for women, as moving luggage would be a nightmare. The room was tiny, and the specific type I booked had no window. Everything else was fine.

Great location, very convenient for transport. The stairs are quite narrow and steep, so it can be a bit challenging if you have large luggage. The owner was very kind and helped us change rooms.

As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching 😉 Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast 😘

You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.
