Let me check in early but they put me in the basement and it felt like a dungeon. It was not super clean and there were stains all over the carpet. In the middle on the night a man was trying to get into my room. I was so scared. I ended up leaving in the middle of the night.

The hotel is ideally situated for walks to shops/ restaurants, but also for exhibitions.
It’s functional, not very sound proofed and you do not want to be on the ground floor.
It’s not lavish in anyway.
More hostel like.
So as far as just resting your head it’s ok.

Really nice hotel great staff and clean rooms and a good destination for Amsterdam central. Only 15 minutes walk for the hotel I’d go back again tbh

Nothing really to compare this property with as I haven’t been to Amsterdam before.
Great location and service probably papered over the cracks of the facilities / accommodation.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming and will do anything to make your stay comfortable
There is a great coffee area with fresh fruit every day , the rooms are small as they are in Amsterdam but the linen is of a high quality

Good location and friendly staff. Room is quite small and a bit noisy. Toilet is dirty and no ventilation.
