This is a very special place. We stayed in one of the beautiful cabins for one night in February. Unfortunately we were both quite under the weather so we’re not able to take advantage and enjoy all the activities that are offered but friends we were traveling with loved their dog sled and snowmobile experiences. Excellent food and service. A very unique and highly recommended property.

Excellent resort with lots of amazing activities available like the King Crab safari or snowmobile rides. Excellent 3 course dinner included in the room rate in addition to breakfast.

I gave cleanliness a perfect 5 stars. The location is very central, with Tromsø Cathedral just around the corner, which also gets a 5-star rating. Service received 4 stars because the room wasn't set up for three people, even though three of us checked in. Facilities got a full 5 stars.

If you're looking for the best spot in the city, this is it. The location is truly central and ideal. The service was good, making i feel welcome from the moment i arrived. But don't skip the breakfast—it’s worth every penny! Fresh, abundant, and delicious. Five stars well deserved for location, service, and food quality.

Perfect location, good parking It's a very nice hotel. Close the the city centre. I always live the breakfast. I usually go on national holidays, in which case they don't serve evening food. The rooms are basic, but spacious enough with large windows overlooking the city. I love coming back here. They have lots of different staff, and they've all been very friendly.

Always perfect and well organised A quick and friendly check-in. The room was spotless. I had not counted on a free evening meal, but it was very good. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of different things, including Norwegian options. Very nice!

Just perfect, nice, and relaxing I think I've seen different people at the reception every time I went to this hotel, but each and every one is just as nice and helpful. The included breakfast and dinner are also great. So many different things to choose from and all delicious. I love going here.

Served an evening meal as part of room rate. No complaints as the food was good. Best to get down early as the heat lamps don't keep the food as warm as I like. However it was still good. Only thing missing was hot chocolate. :-)

Lacking modernity No double bed available (2 single beds together is not a double bed). TV was old and lacked connectivity for external devices and poor choice of TV channels

Walking distance to Harbour with a lot of eateries nearby. We check in at 4pm but staff told us the room not ready.

This is the hotel I recommend most in Bergen. It is so comfortable to stay here. The 1500 includes 4 breakfasts. It also gives a family room with bunk beds and a double bed. The mattress is very comfortable. The bathroom tiles have floor heating. The breakfast is also delicious. The hotel was built in 1918 and has a history of more than 100 years. The interior of the house is still so comfortable.

The receptionist that booked us in was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen/dining room staff were lovely and very hard working. The hotel was quiet on the whole and we had very little noise at night. We upgraded to a superior room, not sure what the standard rooms are like but ours was small with a wardrobe for one person, we had to use the “superior” chairs as a second wardrobe and the shower situation...

The reception girls were very friendly and kitchen staffs too.. altogether the best in Bodo

Very close to the ferry for Lofoten. A very comfortable bed and good choice of food for breakfast. A very welcome bonus was the afternoon coffee and cakes and the free evening buffet for guests. Super helpful staff at reception too. Would stay again if travelling from Bodo although there isn't a lot to do there.

Poor ventilation The window could not be opened properly, so it was not possible to cool down the room. Otherwise very nice. The included dinner was especially appreciated.

The room was clean, cozy, and had a good view. The staff was friendly enough. The restaurant had great food. We had the reindeer, turbot, and grouse. The turbot and reindeer should not be missed if you are staying here. The atmosphere was quiet, pleasant, and quaint.

Great hotel with a small indoorspa and including a good pool and an amazing floating lake Sauna. Great range of public rooms with fireplaces to create a semblance of coziness. Excellent dining options. Rooms are slightly small and lack seating and tea/coffee making basics but are genuinely cozy with stunning views. Good in room tech. The location in Geirager is unbeatable. The staff are helpful, but the size of the hotel makes it feel somewhat impersonal. Breakfast was extensive and offered something for everyone.

We enjoyed coffee at the cafe in the front of the hotel. I saw a sign about a gift shop/ gallery so I asked and I’m glad I did. It was a great collection of local artists. In looking for the gift shop I got to explore the hotel, especially the new section and I wished we needed a hotel as I’d love to stay there ( but we were on a cruise!)

The Fjord is stunning. The hotel rooms view its majesty.Swimming is just a few steps away .You can warm up in outdoor sauna. The lapping of water rocked.me to sleep like a lullaby. Will return

The location is not as good as other hotels higher up. The room is very small. I visited my friends’ room in Hotel Union - great views and excellent room and beautiful dining room with excellent views.

For me and my wife location was everything. Hence I’m rating this place 5 stars. The place is literally 2 minutes walk to Bergen world famous fish market. Rooms are a bit small and ours at least, windowless but we knew that well in advance during the booking.

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. Chain-Hotel in a great location near the station in Stavanger. I had booked it because of good experiences with another location in the past and was not disappointed. Big room, even bigger bathroom than expected. The room is quite spacious, the breakfast is rich, the location is convenient for travel, and there is a Hertz car rental company and a supermarket next to it. The only shortcoming is that the fabric sofa and chairs in the room have obvious stains and feel unclean. It is recommended that the hotel strengthen inspection and maintenance of cleaning.

Excellent massage thanks to Monica and her empathetic hands. Nice spa (extra fee, but included when you book a massage) and rich breakfast. The room (under the roof - beautiful view) was a little bit small, but clean with a very comfortable bed. Restaurant is highly recommendable.

We stayed here for 5 days during our ski trip ⛷️ as we arrived, we couldn't believe, that this is our accomendation! The pictures on booking.com are not representing how the hotel is. The rooms are much nicer, the lobby is very welcoming and the breakfast has everything you need. Also the staff and service is friendly and on a good level. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel 😊

We decided to go to this coastal town on a whim. The hotel is exquisite and quiet, and is much better maintained than expected. The hotel breakfast is excellent, the family room we booked is also very large, and the sofa bed is also comfortable.

Enjoyable stay We enjoyed our stay in Bodo. Rooms are small but beds are comfortable and room was clean. Practical and not fancy. Outstanding breakfast. Waffle bar in the afternoon was welcome after hiking all morning. Front office staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our questions.

This is a classic 1970s hotel that has so much potential. If some things likes drapes and furniture were updated it would seem a little more appealing. But it was clean. Having a car we appreciated being further away from the touristy areas. Breakfast was nice and tasty!
