Website says there's a breakfast room but I couldn't find it and since there's no reception (that I could find anyway), there was no one to ask. That said, very easy check in with txt code, room was spotless and comfortable and hotel is in an excellent location.

Good choice Even though it was check in with code without meeting the staff everything went smooth and there was clear information way ahead and whenever you had a question or needed help there was a phone number that you got answer very fast. The cleaning staff was amazing.

Was a pretty good hotel. Good location only issue would be the noise pollution. But apart from that good hotel if you want to stay in the centre of Stavanger

The best value for money, nice environment

I stayed here with family twice this year. The cabins are cosy. The beds are very comfortable, the cabin is warm and the kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would love to visit again.

Very nice beds and kitchen, it has fridge and dishwasher, sauna, upstairs and downstairs bathroom. We hit our head on the ceiling some times. Some thing is also broken. Could get more shelve in the bedroom. Have wifi.

Smashing little place for self-catering ski holidays. Hytten are well appointed, clean and warm. The snow was very deep till the kids got hold of it. This side of the resort is percet for beginner to intermediate and the regular busses that run to the other side of town will have advanced skiiers on the runs quickly. The cabins are perfectly situated close to Geilo Center, and the nice hiking tour around Ustedalsfjorden. All cabins have nice surroundings between the trees, which makes it cosy. we were six ladies having a fabulous weekend at Geilo. The apartment had all we required, and was very well equipped. But since the area still is a building site, the environment was a bit slippery and dirty.

The strong water pressure and hot water in the shower was exactly what we needed after a long deove from Tromso. The bed was soft and room was big enough for us. Breakfast was beautiful, so nicely done. If you stay here, highly recommended you make breakfast.

Like, recommend! It's near the bus station and about 15 minutes from the train station! There are free welcome snacks, tea and coffee. The room is not big, but comfortable and clean The best thing is the breakfast, very rich and delicious!

The hotel appears to have been renovated recently and is simple and clean, OK if you're on a budget. Comfortable beds, but a small room in my case. The bathroom was smaller than a closet. Breakfast was adequate, but not at the level of other hotels in Bergen. Location, however, is excellent, easy walking distance to lots of activities and popular sights in the city.

Friendly staff and good breakfast. I stayed in a single room . Rooms are small but prices are fair for expensive Norwegian city. I had to wait for my room check in as the housekeeping was understaffed, but the friendly front desk handled very well .. Perhaps this humble abode needs more attention by the new landlord who took over

Good location and breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff is not always present. You are prompted a short message telling you to go to another location for any inquiries. This would have been a good information before reaching the hotel without being able to enter it. We were unable to pay at checking which would have helped us not wait for them at checkout and then have to rush to the bus station....

This is a very good hotel in bergen. The rooms are big. The bathroom is also big. The breakfast is nice. They serve free coffee in the kafistova the restaurant. They give free checkin waffle.

Bathtub placement is a safety hazard. The overnight stay was payed by bonus points = i probably got the worst rom at the hotel. It was clean, fridge in the rom, good bed, good parking, tip-top breakfast. But on the bathroom they had a bathtub that about 15cm intruding the door into bathroom. I have used this hotel several times. Superb location, nice staff and good food (I will recommend the local cuisine). I like that they show their history and stick to it. The room was clean and the bed gave me a good night sleep. I don’t need more and will come back.

Ok, but not really magic like a theme park hotel. It's pretty normal. They do offer a troll tale reward game for kids and a movie theater for them.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was great. We needed to wash clothes and the washer and dryer were free to use! Very nice addition! The ground are really pretty to view as well as walk around. It has a great playground for kids. Lastly, the staff was very kind and helpful.

Amazing location. Wasn't aware there's free washing machine facility that was super convenient. Very helpful staff. Dining options are limited with one option to dine at the hotel, or take away from pizzeria about 10mins walk / Pick up from kiwi store. Also found another takeaway away at Osthorn for one of the nights, pizzeria was not open during our stay.

Conveniently located near the train, supermarket and dorms. Rooms are clean and decorated nicely. Cafeteria is well stocked and full of choices. Wish I could have gotten into the gym earlier in the day but it is reserved for “athletes” till 4 pm.

This place is more like a dorm / college residence, but priced as a hotel. It has a great location if you're into walking / hiking. No information was provided re: services, walking trails, dinner options, etc. (this would have enhanced our stay).

If your stay is not Sunday, most of the shops are open. There's a Kiwi supermarket within 2 minutes drive. Interesting place, that was my first time staying at a sports hotel. Breakfast was good. It's really value for money.

The hotel is very exquisite, the breakfast is very good, it is an old hotel with a sense of atmosphere in southern Norway, opposite the church, the environment is very good, and there is a long river behind it. It is a good choice for business, vacation and tourism. I will stay here again next time.

This is a unique property away from the noise of the city. It is very clean and quiet and the sheep that roam the property are cute.

It makes sense to split the review of this hotel into two parts in order to provide an accurate assessment. Restaurant - fairly busy when we arrived here at 18:00ish. Excellent massage thanks to Monica and her empathetic hands. Nice spa (extra fee, but included when you book a massage) and rich breakfast. The room (under the roof - beautiful view) was a little bit small, but clean with a very comfortable bed. Restaurant is highly recommendable.

We had a fantastic eight course meal and wine pairing at Boen Gård. The atmosphere is also perfect.

We tried 10 course dinner . Score is 7 of 10. The chef hade some problems with balance the courses . But the servic was impeccable!! Can also say the same about the rooms and facilities. Good and a place I really want to recommend. But be aware the prices is a bit steep. 1 night with 10 course 4 glasses of champagne 7700 Norwegian kroner. Around 760 euro :)

This hotel is an undiscovered gem in Norway. Everything about this establishment is top rate. The dining areas offer comfortable and intimate seating. The decor in the rooms is exquisite including velvet draperies. This hotel exudes old-world charm while offering all the modern conveniences. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Cozy and warm cabin where you are instantly out in the nature once you step out. The shared toilet and shower is clean and comfortable. I tried their sauna and it was very relaxing. I recommend this place for anyone who like to spend time alone with nature when visiting Geilo. I decided to extend one more night upon arriving.

I stayed at Øen Turistsenter for five nights in February 2025. The Customer Service was excellent, including one of the staff helping me with the washing machine, my Hytte was warm and breakfast great. Only drawback going outside to the loo at night and to wash. Otherwise I have no complaints at all, and I would recommend Øen Turistsenter to anyone I know who would like to visit Geilo.

Local cozy and warm cabin where you are connected to the nature with outdoor toilet in winter and summer I recommend it so strongly with nice and kind lady welcoming you next morning for not included breakfast.

Booked a quad room, but it was very small. The bathroom was tiny and the lighting was dim. The room itself felt old and dated. However, the location was a huge plus – everything was within walking distance, including McDonald's and the whale watching pick-up point. Plus, they offered free waffles every evening at 5 PM (self-service) and coffee and tea all day long, which was great!

Good location, a 5-10 mins walk from the station, short distance to the ski bus stop. Ski storage room in the block. Lots of supermarkets within walking distance. Quiet at night. Well equipped apart from no tea towel or microwave. TV bigger than the one we have at home! Tiny second bedroom with bunk beds but was OK for our teenagers for three nights.

There wasn’t a room when we checked in, but they transferred us to a sister hotel that had cabins by the sea. Breakfast was not included at this location

The best part is the hotel owner. She's always very kind and helps you with absolutely everything you need in Andenes. The breakfast is also delicious. The room and bathroom are comfortable. Overall, it's a great hotel to come and relax and enjoy the activities you came to Andenes to do.

We had an amazing day at sea because of the great help we got at tregde ferie center! Caught lots of fish and he even let us lend his own knife for fileting the fish!!!
