5 minutes from ferry, nice and quiet place, free parking, very nice Host.
Tollgaarden Gjestegaard is located near Larvik harbor and Larvik station. If you’re taking the train the accommodation is approximately a 6 minute walk from the station. The farmhouses they rent are small yet cozy. The apartment fits up to 4 people and is in close proximity to a beach, which is great for summer. The apartments are animal friendly, so we were able to have our dog along and there were...
Nice and quiet place to stay with friends and family. Recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy place to stay. It has got that Nordic rustic feel. Easy payment and no hassel. Very affordable than the hotels.
Close to the center. Sufficiently large apartment; with a small kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom on the second floor. Stairs to the second floor a little extreme (too steep). For the off-season, however, the price is a little too high.
Loved our stay. Apartment was clean and thoughtfully appointed for any needs
A short walk to a beautiful park on the bay is a must. Close to restaurants. Owners take pride in providing a charming establishment for visitors.
Helt greit
Helt greit motel.
Great place, with a lovely view of Lake Mjøsa. Clean and tidy, and with plenty of space for us who came with a tent. Quiet surroundings a short distance from the city center, but bus stop right next door, or a short drive. Hiking areas in the area. Service facilities were somewhat limited when we visited. The nearest shower lacked hot water, so we had to use one further away. Also had no access to...
Every summer we come to this place, we love the offer it has for families during the summer festival.
Had a wonderful experience at Hedmarktoppen! The area exudes natural beauty with its panoramic views of Mjøsa and the city of Hamar. The campsites are spacious and well-organized, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The facilities are first-class and clearly well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience for all guests.
The staff are exceptional, always welcoming and ready to assist...
good value west of Oslo, comfortable but basic
was home for disabled people I think, now a simple but comfortable guesthouse in quiet surroundings on a hill, not very central but buses 700meters away. clean basic rooms with windows to open. No extras, no TV, but good beds. best is the ground floor and terrace, kitchen with all equipment available. Paid under 1000kr for a night.
Nice place to stay with all the comforts of home.
Great experience. Lady at front desk was very helpful. Thought it was a great deal for Oslo. I had a rent a car, so easy to get to. No tv in room, fine by me. One in the lobby. Shared bathroom, clean and convenient. Full shared kitchen. Very convenient. I went to the local market, heated up pasta and sauce. I would definitely recommend. Lobby had a nice zen feeling. Nice touch with the battery candles...
It had heavily snowed when i stayed at that hotel. It is located in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful natural landscape. Good for walks in nature. The rooms can modernise the decoration and furnishings.
Amazing
Really great. Interesting location. Very accessible for the city. Really nice staff. Beautiful relaxing views. Really nice equipment. Great coffee.

Modern hotel with spacious rooms, very clean and ideal for families. Excellent service and very responsive via chat. On the downside, I wasn't a fan of the neighborhood, the multicultural restaurants created a slight sense of insecurity (even though there wasn't an actual problem). Also, the lighting in the living room was insufficient, and the 'locked' heating temperature wasn't always enough at certain...
The area has many halal restaurants nearby, which was very convenient for us. Alhamdulillah, it made finding food very easy.
The location is excellent, very close to the bus stop and easily accessible. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, modern, and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed staying there.
There was a small issue with the hot water. If one person showered first, the next person had to...

Great hotel! The rooms are really big, well heated and insulated. The bathrooms have heated floors.
The entrance is a bit hidden away, if you’re walking from Oslo S, it’s past the barber shop.
The room i stayed in, 402, could do with a microwave.
The hotel is located near must-see attractions, and this two-bedroom unit is fully equipped.
The flat was fine, but I felt almost scamed when I realised that the breakfast I paid 600 NOK for only covered food for 200 NOK at a bakery 11 minutes away. So 25 minutes extra walk in the morningen and 3x the expence... A bad experience!
Har bare vært her i forbindelse med The Gathering og da er vi heldige å få låne hele hotellet;-)
Nice 1bedroom (4 beds) apartments with fridge freezer, electric hob/oven, basic cookware etc. Food available from restaurant until late with delicious pizza and more.
Quiet place with free parking outside. 10-15 minutes walking distance to the nearest shoping centre.
This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). My only issue was that I didn't receive any the check-in instructions with the key box code prior to my arrival; the issue was addressed quickly, but I had to make...
Quite ok, old hotel that needs some care. Rehab/restoration and repairs should be a priority, otherwise ok. Very friendly and helpful staff and a good bed.
Old and outdated hotel. But it has the charm and some character. Our room was very small but okey for one night stay. Cleanliness was okey, could use some more heavy clean. Breakfast was good, not so much to choose from but very good. The staff kept the food items filled up during breakfast. The food felt very fresh. The hotel is in the very city centre, walking distance to allot of stores and restaurants
Simple and clean
Simple standard. Quite clean. Nicer rooms in the photo. Room 11 was boring. Missing a couple of good chairs to sit in.
Quaint hotel that has been updated. Staff very helpful. You should know one uses staors to go to ypir room.Nice shower, comfortable bed. I love that the window opened.
Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful in answering questions. Room was clean. Nice area to walk around the town. Close to bus and train transportation.
Lovely spacious self contained apartment. Quaint. Liked the large living room, kitchen area. Bedroom was "intetesting". One of us slept on the large sofa, which was fine. Good smart TV. Great parking. Enjoyed our stay!
Nice, cosy and full of charm. No AC and lack of blackout curtains made the night tough. …
A guesthouse with true soul!
A very nice stay at a very beautiful and "hidden" place. Beautiful.
Very functional and cozy small apartment, and positive hosts.
Idyllisk og sentralt sted
Overnattet pga tidlig båtreise neste morgen. Idyllisk sted med super lokasjon og parkering.
I've been here three times while travelling from-to Norway and Sweden.
Not far from the highway but almost downtown, only two blocks from the peatonal street with bars and restaurants.
Although not all the rooms are super modern, they are clean, large, with comfortable beds and with large windows.
There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel.
The staff is friendly and the owner is very kind and helpful
We had a short stay at the hotel, family of 3. We arrived after reception hours, but the hotel had tried to contact us beforehand and sent a text with information needed to get access to our room. The room was quite dated, but spacious and clean, (except dust under the beds) and quiet. Bathroom was quite small, but clean.
We arrived a few minutes late for breakfast the next morning, despite given information...
I've never experience such good service in Norway before! It really felt like coming home.
Rana the hotel manager made sure that we had everything we wanted and gave us the best possible stay here in Sarpsborg. The breakfast was excellent with fresh food, egg/bacon/sausages, fresh fruit, yoghurt, warm bread, fresh Waffles, bakery cakes and so on.
We can only recommend this hotel, perfect location close...
The most friendly and helpful staff that made a large effort to make us feel at home. I traveled alone with my children on a long stay there and the hotel felt like a safe spot for all of us. Building is old and worn but with lots of light, air and atmosphere. Great breakfast and staff managed to find food that went ok with my food allergies.
Elevator does not work and looks like it hasn't for a while, which is bad when you are on the 4th floor. The room is more like a hostel than a hotel. I loved the town though. It was very cool.
The room is clean and the cleaner is very nice and polite.
Ventilasjon system is not good, so the window needs to be kept opened. But the noise from tram is very loud from early morning to late night if you live on the back side of the hotel.
Decent hotel, mostly for patients staying at the adjacent hospital.
