Not the hotel itself, I went there to eat in café, because they have had such a nice buffet. The food great, the location great, the cleaning Thai lady got angry at me for not sorting the plates etc after eating there, how on earth would I know that I had to do that? But I did smile and did as she said. She made my day much worse than it already was!

We booked hotel on Booking without knowing it’s in the hospital with a lot of newborns lol…. Another surprise was a cemetery in front of the hotel, which sounds like a joke. This is really for people who are patients at the hotel, or visiting patients at the hotel. The hotel is fine. Adequate, and clean, the staff are good. Paying for parking is evil. Parking for non - employees at the hospital is managed my Europark and is expensive. Warm food is beyond terrible. It's like heading back to the 1970s in the worst possible way. Very nice and clean. Staff is helpful and polite. Meal times are short. The restaurant is open for about an hour and a half for each meal. You snooze you lose. The food is taken away exactly on time, so don't be late. Check-out at 10am is a bit early.

A very nice little no frills hotel. Was visiting some friends in town for New Years and just needed a room to crash before driving home the next day. This hotel is perfect for what I needed which was just a room in the center of town. Well priced, very nice staff

Coach’s is a very good budget hotel. It is in a good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and is within easy walking distance to the main tourist sites. The staff at the hotel were helpful and professional, and the hotel was very clean, and had good WiFi.

Excellent location close to tram routes, visit sites, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel is a bit old and congested, toilet space is limited, averagely clean, but barely acceptable, especially at a reasonable rental level. Appreciated staff's helpful attitude who always show patience and willingness to offer assistance.

A very good hotel with a good location. There is a supermarket and restaurant opposite the house, as well as a small park. The room is large, with a balcony to enjoy the view, and the bath water is also very good.

It’s a great hostel! It’s worth booking a stay with breakfast included because the breakfast is fresh, delicious, and offers a good selection—clean rooms and showers, nice and warm inside the building. I really recommend it. :) Also, the hostel is on the hill, and when it's cold and snowy it's a great spot for sliding down.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, the price is very affordable. They have a shared kitchen and offer free breakfast. You can easily get to the city center from nearby bus stops or train stations. Overall, it's pretty good, I recommend it.

Easy to get to by public transport. Facilities are good, and wholesome breakfast available. Comfortable bed with facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. They guided me on the places to go to, how to get there, how things work in Norway, and about the people and culture there. Will recommend it happily .

The view is great since it is located on the hill, and the room and the bathroom are way cleaner than expected. However, they don’t provide soap or shampoo. Also, we need to make the bed ourselves.

This place is a great older hotel off the beaten path. The staff is 5 stars. The views from the lounge/dining area are spectacular. Hike up the old ski trail for even better views. Dinner and breakfast were amazing.

Location isn't bad but still a 10 min uphill walk, with your luggage. Using keyless website link to open door isn't a bad idea, but only if it works. I had to try many times to enter my room, sometimes very frustrating standing at the corridor. Another big concern is wifi security, my phone keeps alerting me off someone casting their phone to the TV screen, it is very annoying as I had to find...

Located in the mountains, it's convenient to take the tram to the city center. The breakfast was good. The room wasn't large, but it was okay. Parking is 130 Nor per day.

Helpful and friendly staff, delicious restaurant, stunning view, free coffee, gym and sauna. Bedroom is comfortable, very close to the Oslo winter park, just a 10 minute walk then 5 minutes bus ride and near many hikes. I would highly recommend it here if you are not on a tight budget.

Location is not suitable for traveling without a car

The scenery is amazing! It is also very comfortable to work overtime in the common lounge at night. The room is very small and there is no elevator. It is also a very historical hotel. It is warmer and has a swimming pool. It is recommended to drive there for convenience.

The hotel was overbooked the evening of our stay, so we had to share rooms with a colleague to solve the issue. The staff was very embarrassed and did as well as they could to accommodate us, including some compensation to make up for the annoyance.

Everything was perfect except for the Wifi connection which was spotty, at best. Very frustrating.

Friendly staff, good location however quite a lot of street noice when we get a room toward Nygaten. Room was quite small and it was difficult to get around the bed to the one side (30cm) . But the reason for relatively poor rating was that the bathroom was extremely small. It was not possible for s person of normal height to sit straight at the toilet. Very good breakfast though

Parking was full so despite being disabled we had to unload at the door and park offsite at extra cost. Pet rooms weren’t available but we were given a room on the top floor. We had a small balcony so were able to leave that open to keep room cool. We had a fridge, good beds and pillows.

The location of the property was really great - we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Unfortunately we had to park a few blocks away from the hotel but that was really the only downside. The room was very spacious and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Great hotel. Right near so many restaurants, stores, markets, and bowling. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. My husband is a vegetarian and they had fruit, vegetables, tons of varieties of granola and breads. It was the perfect start to our day!

Absolutely perfect. I did a 3 days solo trip and chose this spot cause it’s so close to the city center and it was cute. Beautiful room & awesome having 24/7 front desk service. Love that I could keep my luggage there after checking out & even when I arrived a bit early before checking in. Very close to the tram/bus which was a LIFESAVER during my trip. 10/10 perfect for a couple or solo travelers

I had a good stay I stayed for a weekend and I was mostly outside. The room is simple, perfect for a short stay. Bed was soft & comfortable, I slept like a baby. Amazing location. Wasn't aware there's free washing machine facility that was super convenient. Very helpful staff. Dining options are limited with one option to dine at the hotel, or take away from pizzeria about 10mins walk / Pick up from kiwi store. Also found another takeaway away at Osthorn for one of the nights, pizzeria was not open during our stay.

If your stay is not Sunday, most of the shops are open. There's a Kiwi supermarket within 2 minutes drive. Interesting place, that was my first time staying at a sports hotel. Breakfast was good. It's really value for money.

The hotel is very exquisite, the breakfast is very good, it is an old hotel with a sense of atmosphere in southern Norway, opposite the church, the environment is very good, and there is a long river behind it. It is a good choice for business, vacation and tourism. I will stay here again next time.

Very good emplacement and very tasty rooms, classy. The price/quality is also very good. I just have some suggestions: The soap liquid in the bathrooms is a cheap plastic one, it's a little detail but I could be better. The breakfast could be also been improved with fresh fruits and a bread toaster. The staff is very kind, I can only super suggest it! :)
