The location is accessible to city centre. The breakfast has a variety of options. The room had a nice view and quiet surrounding. The customer service was accommodating and polite. We had a great time in Scandic Vulkan hotel.

Excellent spots, very near to most of the tourist spots. The breakfast is superb!

The location is really good as it allows you to get to most of the sites of the city very easily and quickly. There's also a few convenient stores and supermarket nearby, it's not that difficult to find food, water or any other amenities easily.

We had a great stay here and will definitely look to book further Thon on future travels. The staff were all really friendly and the additional bonus of the light evening meal complimentary was amazing. Our room was clean and well maintained overlooking the breakfast dining 'courtyard'

The hotel was well-located and the staff was helpful and generally excellent. We did find a rubber glove in the duvet and some stains on the bedsheet, and after talking with the front desk they moved us to another room for the night, which we appreciated. The room was spacious, but you had to go to the second floor and take the elevator, which was inconvenient. The worst part was that the bathroom shower stall had no partitions, so the shower water would overflow.

This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. Room is cheap. Space is abit tight. Easy for bag packer. No receptionist. Check in via tablet on the desk overall the process was easy.

I stayed here on a business trip. We held a workshop in the hotel's conference room, and the accessibility to the room was excellent. I was satisfied. However, the exterior walls were currently undergoing renovations, so the view from the windows wasn't very impressive. The breakfast and gym were good.

A family of three stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. The room was a bit cramped, but its location on Karl Johans Gate was excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the central station. Breakfast was good, and if you couldn't make it to breakfast, the front desk would thoughtfully arrange a convenient breakfast for you to take away if informed in advance.

First of all, my baby and I brought 3 pieces of luggage, and the receptionist didn't seem to want to help at all. Pretty cool hotel on a great street. I stayed here with my family while visiting Oslo. We really liked the design/decor of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. It's located on a street with plenty of shopping and restuarant options. It only takes 15 minutes by tram to get to the downtown/waterfront area and the trams run continuously.

I did visit many Spas in Norway but this actually can call a SPA. Nice saunas, cold and hot pools, chilling places and very nice vibe. It gave me back hope that there are places in this country where you can relax and it doesn't smell like communism. Highly recommend 👌

Okay hotel with okay location. Toilet was not very clean, very small bath. Hard to get in to the shower. Evening food and breakfast was good. Staff friendly but not so experienced on the area. The bed was so comfortable after a day of skiing. The bus to the ski resort is right infront. It’s incredibly quiet area beautifully overlooking Oslo town. Arrived by taxi but I think you can also take the tram. The breakfast as someone living in the UK was great to wake up to fresh salmon cheeses meats selection. Lysebu Hotel is rare find. It is super cosy and charming in super quiet surroundings. Super close to the Holmenkollen stadion (e.g. for the biathlon finals), and less than an hour from leaving the hotel to the center of Oslo. The personal is very very kind and smiling.

Let me add to the glowing reviews here. We had a fantastic stay at Lysebu. We took advantage of the indoor pool and sauna and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and the bath with its rainfall shower was splendid. The staff were lovely and the setting of the hotel was quiet and beautiful. It made for the perfect weekend!

Our initial room was too light and noisy for us but the receptionist couldn’t have been more accommodating about moving us to a quieter room at the back of the hotel.
