Fabulous two weeks in April, sometimes sunny, sometimes snowing, My large room on the second floor was warm, with a big desk for writing, tall windows, hot shower, fast internet, quiet. Koska and her family helped in every way possible. I bought the optional breakfast, which was over the top, I counted 34 different items one morning on my table. The view to the south is the Carpathian Mountains, over 8000 feet high, covered in snow.
The way to get to Zakopane is by bus, less expensive and much faster than the train, one leaves Krakow every 20 minutes or so. Then a 9-minute walk. Within 100 yards are a big market, a fine cafe, and a really good restaurant. A full salmon dinner costs $10, a lesser meal $5, wine or beer $3. The center of town is a ten minute walk away with lots more restaurants. I'm told that it gets crowded in the summer, but not in April. Lots of people hiking in the mountains. Two gondolas start in the town.

Absolutely spot on. Very close to centre with clean and comfortable rooms. Don't understand why other people always complain. Staff very friendly and they go the extra mile to help tourists which do not speak any Polish. Plus I have been given useful tips where to go and where and what to eat. They also offer a total Góral experience with an absolutely stunning private house next to a river at the feet of the mountains. Simply magic.

In the beginning was fear, but not to the end, to assume opinions from the Internet, because well, when things get tired. We were with family (two children 4 and 5 years). The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, tight Windows in the room ukrop such that it was necessary to turn the heaters at night. Actually bathroom from the Communist era, but clean, for the money you can't expect miracles. TV in room and Internet wi-fi. Close to everywhere, children ride children 5 moments on the hill (Upper Rówień Krupowa), krupówki street 700m (with children on foot - 8 minutes). Neighborly Ladybug. The service is very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

I recognize that, by choosing to bed in the boarding house, I thought that the conditions for the price will be adequate. And what do we get? Old, dirty rooms with wyliniałymi sofas, niedomykającym window in the room that cold. Bathroom looks like a cheap hostel, does not encourage the use. Rooms with old floor, pajęczynami with sofas and cosy decor without. Not nazywałabym this hotel is a joke. The usual cheat. High prices for bad conditions. The guest house is associated with a cozy place, but still a big disappointment. The only advantage is the close distance to the train station and the city centre. The description includes the definition of "unique." A little truth in it, but in the side of evil. Sorry...

To do this, the owner writes slander towards the buyers who write the truth about/in the boarding house.

I advise you to be careful and choose a better place, and not give money to naciągaczom and chamom!

The location is excellent, but the rooms are unfortunately very small. The bathroom only needs a complete renovation, not regular use (cracked old tiles, a loose toilet, mold). Unfortunately, the bed squeaked terribly with every movement.
If the property undergoes a complete renovation and we visit again, I'll give it a 5-star rating :-)

The front desk staff was helpful.
The bed was large.
You can use the communal refrigerator.

Good place for people using public transport. Only a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations. In the city centre, but quiet. Close to Krupówki. White, ironed bedding, comfortable bed, kettle, hair dryer, TV, wi-fi works, warm in the room. The bathrooms could indeed be nicer, but on the other hand everything works. I was not a good customer - single for one night and with a dog - but no one made any problems. Nice, cultured service. I recommend it, although not to those who expect the standard of a *** hotel.
