Reviews
Great welcome at reception. Cordial and friendly. Delightful. Clean and cozy room. Just the right size for me. Sparkling clean bath room and bedroom to. Coffee and tea available. television had weird channel line ups but no worries.
I'll stay again in the future.

However the food is not traditional Italian. The menu is more like a standard Irish restaurant serving some pasta and pizza. If you have been in a traditional Italian restaurant you could not confuse it with La Caverna. The food was very average. The calzone I had was over filled mess of ingredients, which was then covered in tomato sauce and more cheese. The starters were the usual Irish starters (chicken wings, spring rolls,(!) goats cheese in pastry etc), the minestrone soup was ok but over seasoned. I was surprised it was rated so highly here. It probably deserves a 2.5 but I can't give that and it's not a 3.
Just keep an eye on facebookpage eny updates about events will be posted there ?
I expected more flavour and spiciness from the food, but got plain kinda-like-mexican food. Plus the waitress clearly was not interested in the clients. You can find better places to eat Mexican food in Dublin. Pricewise it's ok & they have lunch deals.
The food was extremely oily.
The toilets were unclean. No toilet roll in either cubicle so I had to ask. There was tissue all over the floor that wasn't cleaned up even when they finally replenished the toilet roll. No sanitary towel bin, just an open waste basket you were meant to use.
