Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Clean, modern and great breakfast. Would suggest they have shallow pillows available in the room as well as the high ones to give a choice.

My stay was fantastic! Easy check in and check out. Super clean room with comfy beds. Kettle in the room and bottled water and biscuits were refreshed daily. Also loved that there were ice and water machines in the lobby so you could fill bottles before heading out!
Breakfast was also great and a huge selection. Food stayed warm and there was a designated dietary requirement area if you needed that.
Only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was that there was a slight pee smell in the bathroom when we arrived but disappeared after I ran bath/shower etc.

This is somewhat a belated review as we were there on March of 2016. Overall, the experience was positive. The atmosphere was cozy and it was the first time I'd experienced very talkative serving staff and clientele. Obviously Chapter One has a number of regulars who all like to converse and did not strike me and my wife as a Michelin starred restaurant.
This feeling was however short lived as we too got into the fun and conversed with the locals who gave us great tips on places to see and restaurants to try.
Now, onto the food. We went with the 5-course tasting menu. Presentation was fine however, the mushroom risotto was a bit on the salty side. The wine pairing were quite complementary to the dish.
Service was good and overall experience was positive.

Food was amazing, service was amazing, and the ambiance and decor were fantastic too. I will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone. We went for lunch, three courses for €39 which was great value. The atmosphere was fairly laid back (I was wearing jeans and a shirt). If you go, order an Irish coffee, they make it in front of you at the table.

My son took me here for a meal The whole experience from the time we entered the restaurant was amazing. We were made to feel so special. The food was amazing and the staff were brilliant. I will definitely be going back here and I will be buying vouchers for family and friends
