Lion Peak Hotel Bugis (SG Clean, Staycation Approved), Singapore1 / 13
7.1
Singapore, Beach Rd, 103 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, very convenient, and easy to get around the area. However, the room was quite dusty. The in-room amenities were good, but there weren't many facilities within the hotel itself. The water pressure in the bathroom was an issue, which was not ideal. The light was positioned directly above the head of the bed, so it shone in my eyes whenever it was on. Check-in was only available after...
Great location near Bugis with lots of food options nearby. Unfortunately, the room was old, small, and smelly. The bed was hard, pillows were unpleasant, and the toiletries felt very cheap. Hair dryer and flat iron were broken. The room did not feel clean or hygienic, and I was not comfortable during my stay.
Service is excellent. All staff is good and helpfull. Recommened hotel for 3 person on 1 room. No need to booked 2 rooms. Just 1 room for 3 persons.
The hotel is good it's just that the ceiling is quiet bothering. The bathroom door is not good
The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and nice. However, you should be noted that it is not very clean compared ( there were molds in the bathroom sink and some damages on the bathroom door ). They will only send the cleaning if you request them but still, after they clean the room, we got the moldy smell from the floor, probably from the dirty mop they use. It smelt very punget like a wet cloth...
The beds and mattresses are not good. The hotel is not easy to find. There’s no trolley for big luggages, we had to carry our luggages by ourselves. The location is good, many restaurants and shopping nearby.

Nice and comfy, not bad, good spot. near to bus stop. can consider.
Always go there clean and comfy will definitely book this hotel always when in Singapore
If you want to have a solemn and peaceful place where you can rest, this place is a great choice. It was very quiet and very nature kind of environment. But not advisable if you are tourist as it was quite far from the city area.
Staff was very helpful and accommodating of changes and extensions and room allocation requests. I booked for other ppl staying there.
Nice and quiet place to rest. Room has a capsule coffee machine which adds point. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
Everything else was fine, but there aren't many supermarkets nearby, and transportation isn't convenient. You'll need to take a taxi or drive if you want to go out.

Really liked this hotel. The location is super convenient, right near the Raffles City MRT station, so it's easily walkable. Plus, it's close to Chinatown, which makes finding food incredibly easy. The staff were also very friendly.
Booked this for 2 employees business trip to Singapore. Conveniently located to the places that they have to be at Places we go were around MBS and Clarke quay
The hotel room was small but clean and new-looking. Everything worked as it should. There was breakfast at the lobby, though it was very small breakfast in offerings. The location of the hotel is great for walking around, and there’s a 7-11 very close to get necessary things from. Great for one night.
The location is really good. Quite near the Merlion park. But The room is small. The breakfast is so-so.
My friend and I are very happy staying at there. Overall clean but got one staff don’t know what her name not really friendly.
Family staying for 3 nights with teenage son, booked a loft room. No room upstairs for a bag but great for privacy between us and son. Nowhere to put anything upstairs as was a pedalstal basin. Was clean and tidy though. Very basic breakfast and a/c worked well. Convenient for Clarke Quay and MRT, lots of food option there too. Mini mart around corner and also across the road. Pool small but did what...

Repeat as always when I have business in SG Rooms are comfy and nice price reasonable
I chose this place specifically for the Seventeen concert, and the location was truly fantastic. There were plenty of food options right outside the door, and the concert venue was within walking distance. My only complaint is that the room was really tiny! 🤣
I've stayed at 81 Orchid several times. It's a great hotel, conveniently located for getting anywhere. It would be even more perfect if the rooms were a bit bigger! This time, I noticed they even added a water purifier, which is a practical and convenient touch.
The rooms are clean and the place is well maintain. The only down part is that I booked a Deluxe Room but I got a Superior Room with a small toilet. But overall the place is good.
The facilities are just okay. The air conditioning didn't work after I set the temperature, which left me freezing. The sheets and duvet covers weren't very clean, with a lot of small dust and debris. However, the staff were very friendly.
Very clean room bathroom is way too small staff are excellent very helpful and the manager. Darren is amazing. Everybody should have a staff like that to help the people.

The location is nearest to pasar geylang serai. Although the hotel is old but the cleanliness can be improve.
Great location, about a ten-minute walk to the subway station. There's a night market right outside the hotel, so food is inexpensive. The room was clean and had a fridge, though it was a bit old-fashioned. Housekeeping cleaned daily, and we could store our luggage for free.
I have booked a Double Bed Room but was told that only the Twin Beds Room was ready. Agreed to take it as the Double Bed Room would only be ready in 30 minutes. There were not enough of hair and body liquid soap in the dispenser and we had to use sparingly to last for our stay! Sighhh.. There were children running around and making so much noise along the corridors until I have to open my door and...
Great value for money! The location is convenient, rooms are clean and tidy, and facilities are comprehensive. The service is excellent, and the price is reasonable, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The main draw is definitely the low price, it's a real bargain. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations.
It’s the beautiful lovely staffs like Serena and Nico that make the world of difference in my stay! They are so intuitive to guests Creature Comforts and know what we want even before we say it! Only true hoteliers are like that!

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Perfectly situated near both bus and train lines so you can go anywhere you would like conveniently. The Katong neighborhood where it is located has some incredible night life - check out the two outdoor restaurants just east of the hotel after dark for awesome food at a great price, as well as a unique glimpse at local dining culture for foreigners....
Very good location surrounded by amazing food and decently close to east coast park. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and they have lots of complimentary snacks and drinks. You can definitely tell they are newly renovated as the appliances and such are all nice and shiny but the building itself seems to be quite dated. Carpets are a bit stained, lights are a bit dim, walls are a little...
2nd visits to Santa Grand Hotel, very convenient to find food and shopping. The check-in is fast and good services and informative. There is coffee machine in front of the check-in desk with some local snacks. The machine have Teh Terik too. The room are comfortable and clean. The bathtub is clean too.
The hotel is in a good location, very close to East Coast Park. It's also convenient to go to Geylang for frog porridge and not too far from the airport. There's a swimming pool on the top floor, and plenty of dining options nearby. However, the bedsheets weren't very clean, and the room was quite small.
Santa Grand Hotel East Coast was a great stay—very clean room and excellent service. They even provide free coffee and cookies, plus a free mini bar in the room, which was a lovely touch. Merci Marcel is right next door, and the location is super convenient with bus stops both right next to the hotel and across the street. The bed was super soft and comfy—perfect for families.
Very good. With very good service for all the staff. The transport is very convenient.

The hotel was great, very satisfying! The staff spoke Chinese, and the power outlets were compatible with Chinese plugs. Alph, Wee, and Toh provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. My conditioner ran out, and they even went to the convenience store to buy a new bottle for me. Amazing!
This hotel is superb!!. We really enjoyed our stay. The Filipina and 2 man in the front desk are so nice and so accommodating. So near in the grocery store, hawker and 5mins walk to the bus stop. A lot of restaurants nearby. Thanks for the keychain freebies for my kids. Its their firstime in SG they had a nice feedback esp in the Hotel. I will recommend this Hotel surely😉

Booked 2 rooms. Small but very clean and confortable bed. Polite staff and was given early check in at 12pm. Plenty of eateries. Overall very happy with this hotel.
The room isn't big, but it's not too far from the airport and cheaper than staying downtown. There are plenty of dining options with various cuisines nearby, and you can get to many places directly by subway or bus.
Nice clean boutique hotel near public transport and malls. Allowed early checking at 11am when I was arriving in the morning.

A cosy boutique hotel. Room size is perfect for a solo or a couple though it would be tight to open up the second luggage. Location is pretty central just 5 minutes to Havelock MRT station. The front desk staff were polite and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was quite small at 14 sqm (we would definitely book a larger room next time). Great, convenient location with plenty of food options nearby.
I booked a room as a woman traveling alone and was overall satisfied with my stay. Considering the price, it offered good value for money. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for me. It was perfect for one night, and I would definitely book again. The location was very quiet, making the stay calm and pleasant.
There’s often no hot water, and the bathroom gets wet, but it’s understandable for its affordable price. On the other hand, the receptionists are friendly and helped us change our rooms many times. A good choice overall!
It's fine. Nothing special, room is small, clean enough, location is excellent but a little walk to subway. Good value.
Been awhile but still it was my favorite place to chill and relax. Bed and pillows are so comfortable to sleep in. I totally have my own private place to rest.
The hotel's location is great, quite convenient. The hygiene is acceptable, but the bedding had some stains. The staff's service was inconsistent; some were excellent, while others were very impatient. The air conditioning was very noisy and made strange sounds. The bathroom design also had issues; there wasn't enough legroom when using the toilet.

Great location, close to the MRT which is very convenient. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was good, but the bathroom could have been cleaner.
I stayed in room 515, a king-size bed room. The space was quite generous, and the large window offered a great, open view. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. There are many unique restaurants nearby. This hotel offers excellent value for money: Hotel 81 - Kovan.
Great for a one-night stay! The location is really good. I had a pleasant and restful time. This hotel is perfect for backpackers or those needing to rest after an early morning flight. One night stay~
The room had a strong odor, and we couldn't open the window for ventilation. The location, however, was quite good. It's close to two subway stations and convenient for bus travel. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, so even without breakfast included, food isn't an issue.
It is concerning that your room has not been properly maintained for some standards level. Lingering smoke and heavy durian odors, along with an oily floor, indicate a lack of thorough deep-cleaning between guests.

One of the noisiest and worst hotel I have stayed. The rooms aren’t sound proof and noise from other levels can be heard so loudly. Woke up from the noise. Barely able to sleep due to horrible pillow which was so flat. Had to sleep with my arms below my neck for neck support that’s how bad the pillow given was. Never staying here or recommending anyone to stay here.
It’s located in the supposedly ‘red light’ district area of SG. The rooms were clean, only complaint would be the noise from the corridor, even at midnight you could hear a lot of doors slamming.
Hotel room very clean. And the receptionists very friendly and help full with recommendations for our family trip is good for food and place to visit.

Amoy is a smart, well run hotel in the heart of Chinatown. Everything felt clean, calm and efficient from check in onwards. The team were genuinely helpful and customer service was excellent throughout the stay. The location is a real strength. It is walking distance to many major landmarks and well connected for getting around the city. The room was small, but the layout was thoughtfully designed...
Front desk very responsive, especially Nadyah (I hope I got her name correct!), who helped me with check in and even showed me up the room. Needed a quick getaway and this place was ideal, near MANY good food places and the MRT is right outside. Didn't manage to enjoy the breakfast, but would love to stay here again.
Friendly staff, great location, walkable to many places. Can use the clan hotel gym and pool at level 30. Superb views! Very nice of them to give a gift too!
The hotel's location is excellent; using Exit D from the subway station makes it much easier to reach. The decor is full of character, and the room includes complimentary drinks and snacks. The pillows and mattress are incredibly comfortable – I slept soundly both nights. However, the toiletries are quite basic for women, so it's advisable to bring your own.
Loved the location and the room! Happy with the minibar and the room amenities. Service was great!

The hotel is quite close to the subway station, just a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of food options near the Lavender MRT station, or you can take one stop to Bugis for more dining choices. The front desk staff speak both Chinese and English, which makes communication very easy. It would be even better if there was a washing machine.
The hotel rooms are very small but clean, and the reception staff are very friendly. There are many local restaurants nearby and it's close to the subway station.
The room was a bit small, and breakfast was just okay, but it was decent for the price. The hotel's location is pretty good, quite close to the subway station.
The hotel was close to Lavender Station, and there were many stores nearby, making it a convenient place to stay. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and kind. The breakfast was not bad, but it could be better if there were a coffee machine.
Rooms is really small but if you want good location and value price that’s your only choice. One of Hotel cleaning staff seems like lack of training, the hotel had a very limited space walk way and while we bringing 3 luggages with a baby stroller to go our room. hotel convenient , good room size , very peaceful and located in a quite nice residential area ,not so busyyznd charming . some restaurants nearby . the hotel offer not in house breakfast. In Singapore is quite nice to get out and enjoy local flavors . shower good enough. wifi ok . I did not try the gym. water refilled in the lobby .
For this price point, you really can't find anything this good in the city center, so it's quite a good deal. The bed is very comfortable, and importantly, it's a 1.8m king-size bed, which is hard to come by in Singapore. It's a 15-minute walk to the MRT station, but there are bus stops nearby. There are some great local eateries next door, and plenty of seafood restaurants too.
Great place for staying for both business and vacation, nice staff and also big room within the price.

The inside was very cramped, the bathroom was dirty, and there were no tiles on the floor.
This hotel offers terrible value for money. For over 700 yuan, the room is tiny – barely enough space for two people to move around, and you can't even open a suitcase on the floor. I definitely don't recommend it!
Overall nice experience. Helpful staff and convenient location
The staff were very kind. Had a one-night stay in one of their loft style rooms. I liked the industrial design of the room and the maximized space. However, the exhaust was shared between the shower and the toilet cubicles, and lots of open channels. So when I had a steamy bath, the whole room got very moist. Walls and the floors were wet. Not very pleasant. Good design, bad execution, i guess.
Hair dryers aren't provided in the room, but you can borrow one from the front desk. The loft ladder was steep, but for a solo traveler, the space was ample and felt very clean. The AC unit was positioned right in front of the loft, which made it a bit chilly.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the location is very convenient. The shower has glass walls, so it's visible from the room if you don't draw the curtain.
