A cosy boutique hotel. Room size is perfect for a solo or a couple though it would be tight to open up the second luggage. Location is pretty central just 5 minutes to Havelock MRT station. The Tiong Bahru market is just metres away where I get to taste my favourite local food at hawker prices. The staff are helpful and friendly. I stored my luggage after checkout for the same night airport departure. Will stay again. Thank you.

The front desk staff were polite and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was quite small at 14 sqm (we would definitely book a larger room next time). The location is fantastic, right across from the market. We were initially worried about noise, but were pleasantly surprised—it didn’t bother us at all.
Hotel amenities were standard and sufficient, good enough for a 2-day stay, especially for two foodies. I also tried the Italian restaurant next door, Trattoria Luca, which turned out to be a great find.
Overall, this is a good hotel and great value for money. We would book again.

Excellent lcation right across from.the Tiong Bahru market and steps away from.the (original) Tiong Bahru Bakery. Enjoy a laksa at the Toast Box just down.the block.

The hotel has a breakfast deal with an.Itlian restaurant downstairs which we unfortunately could not take advantage of due to.time, but other guests were very enthused about it, esp. the coffee.
The room.was tidy and cosy, typical for Singpore. Didn't try the shower so can't speak.to that. it was a nuce hotel and i would return based on location aline. I thought it was good value for money.

I booked 4 nights staying with my 12yo daughter. We requested room with 2 single beds. Had good sleep. Nothing to complain. Only abit noise from outside because room is next to swimming pool. Didnt use the pool as it is small. Rooms in SG are pretty small, so no surprised (12-15m2). But the location is great. Next to shops and Tiong Bahru market, of course convenient taking brown line.

5 mins walk from Havelock MRT, opposite Tiong Bahru market with a lot of food options, no gym, didn’t get to use the pool due to rain, helpful and friendly staff, complimentary beverage at lobby, clean but really small room and shower space, strong aircon and strong water pressure, complimentary bottled water, slippers and toiletries

Cosy place with rustic design situated conveniently close to many shop houses and adjacent to tiong bahru market. Not many amenities within the hotel itself but still a very nice place. Not too noisy at night as well which is good.

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Singapore. Very tasty food in an interesting setting. Has a certain "old world" charm - whether you chose to sit inside - which feels like time travelling to the 1970s, or outside - in the middle of a car park, where you can enjoy the changing colours of the sky as the sun sets.

Food is delicious and of high quality. The champagne ribs are the best. Indoor seating is slightly squeezy. Though slightly pricey, food makes it almost worth it.

Por Kee an original eating establishment located in tiong Bahru offering authentic Cantonese cuisine at excellent prices. The location offers a mix of indoor (AC) and outdoor alfresco dining! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The cereal prawns and pork ribs are a must try! Make sure to reserve ahead!.

Advisable to (call and) book in advance. Air conditioned seating is usually full during peak hours, so be prepared to sit outside - can be especially bright when it's day, gets dark even with the street lamps. Quite an experience, fairly delicious local tze char food with a reputation. Remember there is no free parking!

Great atmosphere eating at plastic tables out on the terrace. Good for live seafood from the tanks. Pepper crab is better than chilli crab! ?

Probably the most overhyped food centre in Singapore. Food here ranges from average to lousy. Food prices increase every year. Food quality does not meet expectations. Used to like Tiong Bahru but not anymore. Redhill market nearby offers better value and food options.

Reasonable prices. One of the largest hawker centers in Singapore. Used to be a dingy place but then food was better. Cleaned up and renovated but strangely food wasn't as nice as the past. Still. OK though.

It has finally re-opened. Great hawker centre with good coffee (238 follow the queue) and a good enough spread of food.
Best wet market in Singapore. Ah Wei sells the best chicken (when you see Koreans and Japanese housewives queuing, it must be good), great fruit stalls where you can buy Japanese fruits much cheaper than Japanese supermarket (warning: may not be as good, you need to know your source), great vegetable stall, great beef stall that is even cheaper than Foodie Market. And a to die for FooChow fishball stall recommended by HK Foodie Cai-lan. Fascinating seafood sellers.

Good range of food and has a couple of famous stalls. Usually hot in the afternoon, but I guess that's because of Singapore's weather.
