Poor Service and Disrespectful Treatment – Disappointed This was honestly one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the start, the service was extremely lacking. We had to ask for everything – salt, oil, napkins – even the most basic things that should already be on the table. It felt like we were constantly chasing down the staff just to get the essentials. What made it worse was how they handled seating. When the place is full, they act like it’s impossible to accommodate you outside, even though there’s space. But when it’s empty, they’ll practically pressure you to sit where they want. It’s a double standard, and it felt really disrespectful. Overall, it was not a pleasant atmosphere, and we left feeling more annoyed than satisfied. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it – there are plenty of other places where you’ll be treated better and get decent service without having to beg for basics.

My experience was a mixed bag. Gresa from reception was fantastic and really customer focused. The restaurant is really great and has a fantastic menu too. The negatives: -The spa was really dirty and not managed, no towels, steam room not working. I went once and didn't go back. -The room service was a disaster- firstly I was brought no cutlery or napkins and when I asked for them I was asked "really?" And brought a wet napkin. Second time, I ordered vegan food and the the vegan burger had a suspicious piece of beef ham placed amongst the salad. -I asked for extra pillows 3 times before I was given a package of never opened pillows with no pillow cases. -My room phone didn't work after the first day. -There was a dirty ash tray left in my room on arrival Positives: -Food delicious, restaurant manager great and helpful with allergies -Rooms good value for the price, great air conditioning and comfortable -Reception staff really helpful I would say it's more of a 3* property with a 5* restaurant. I emailed the manager after I left and never got a reply, which shows they don't care about their guests. I would not stay here again.

If you're a family with young children, **avoid Garden Hotel at all costs**. Our experience was far from family-friendly, and it was clear that this hotel does not prioritize the well-being or enjoyment of guests with kids. At the outdoor pool area, we were instructed to sit at the back because the music was deemed "too loud for children." The reason given was that the area was filled with **20-something singles** indulging in expensive champagne and other alcohol, with little regard for families. To make matters worse, many of these younger guests weren't even staying at the hotel. The pool area was littered with bottles, creating a hazardous environment, and the music was blaring, making it impossible for us to relax or keep an eye on our children. The **management’s attitude was incredibly dismissive**. When I politely asked if the music could be turned down slightly, my request was not only ignored, but I was also met with rudeness that left me shocked. The **arrogance of the management** was astounding, and they seemed completely disconnected from what was happening around the pool. Their only concern was catering to the younger crowd who were spending money on drinks, with **no consideration for families**. In addition to these issues, the **parking situation at the hotel is a nightmare**. It’s overcrowded and chaotic. On one occasion, our exit was blocked by two cars belonging to people who weren’t even staying at the hotel. The security and reception staff were running around like headless chickens for about an hour, trying to find the owners of the cars. There seemed to be no real systems in place to prevent these problems, and the staff offered no solutions to the inconvenience caused. In summary, if you're looking for a place where your children can enjoy a safe and comfortable environment, Garden Hotel is definitely not it. They are solely focused on creating a party atmosphere for younger guests, with **no consideration for families**. The lack of organization and care in both the pool area and the parking situation only adds to the frustration. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your stay.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely not worth the price. I have been coming here for four years and have had pleasant experience until this year. We contacted the hotel to book two rooms and we asked about the pool rules in advance. We were told that we couldn’t bring anyone under 21 at the pool since it’s a Saturday. We left someone behind to obey the rules, only to go and see multiple kids running around the pool with their floaties. We were assured that hotel guests will have their reserved space at the pool and when we went, a group of four was accomodated in only two pool beds. Furthermore, when we went to park, the valet directed us to park outside the premises because there was no parking space available due to outside guests coming for the pool. We had to carry our belongings in the heat from where we parked with no help from the valet. The service at the pool was also bad. This is definitely not worth 5 stars like they claim. The only thing worth it is the breakfast. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the service is up to par with the star rating of the hotel and the pricing. Bad service and attitude from the front desks ladies as well.
