Well where do i start? Has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are very attentive but not intimidating and could never do enough to help. We arrived early but nothing seems like it could be a problem to them, had the key cards within 5 minutes and were in our room. The wellness area was spotless and the staff more than happy to bring the drinks to you whether you’re in the hot tub or sat by the pool, plenty of towels and slippers available if needed. The bars and restaurants also spotless and the food in the restaurant was truly amazing and I just wished we had booked to eat there earlier in our stay as we would have gone several times as the menu was so varied. Location is excellent for skiing and also visiting all the attractions in the area. Would we go back? Definitely we will be going back again but longer stay so we can relax and feel pampered for longer.

During our stay, we encountered several issues that did not meet expectations for a 5-star hotel. There was no coffee machine or kettle in the room. When we called reception to ask whether at least coffee could be delivered to the room, we were advised to use the hotel café instead. There was no staff present in the wellness area. At check-out, a +5% charge was added to every service as a service charge/tip, and we were not clearly informed about this in advance before ordering or payment. Parking was communicated as being monitored/guarded by a camera system; however, our car was parked in an area without camera coverage. At breakfast, there is an additional €5 charge for an omelette. Overall, the level of service and the fee structure did not seem proportionate to the pricing and the hotel’s stated category.

The hotel architecture, halls of master pieces, the dining was top, lastly the patio faces the gorgeous High Tatra Mountains.

Nice and quality refurbished hotel
Really nice hotel and very good refurbished. It shows the old style and heritage of the past. Calm rooms with nice designs. Super terrace with a great view to the mountains. Breakfast with a big selection. But please: If you write Nutella, use Nutella. Thanks for the nice stay

We had a wonderful time in the Apartment building that belongs to the Hotel Lomnica. As a group of Motorbikers from various countries we enjoyed a great reception from the host Bea. Being a professional in the industry I have high expectations from a five star resort and she made sure to meet those. The apartments were very luxurious and left us all impressed. The dinner in the restaurant was really good and tasty. Our waiter Stefan provided a top notch service and added to the overall experience. Well worth the five stars. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great hotel at nice price! We had a quiet getaway at this hotel before high season, and despite many trails still being closed, we enjoyed the amenities at the hotel and the service was amazing. Great breakfast, good a la carte restaurant, the fine dining restaurant seems to have been switched out with a classy bar offering a snack menu. We spent some time playing pool and our own board games in the dedicated game room and also enjoyed the spa, with all it’s saunas and jacuzzis. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great 5 star experience!
