There is no reason not to visit this beautiful, heritage hotel. The hotel is in High Tatra, whichever direction you are going to take, you can find a hiking track into the mountain.
The hotel is so beautiful, it's a luxurious treat to have dinner and breakfast here, the buffet is amazing, the dining hall looks amazing! The spa is another jewel of the crowd, sauna, stream room, jacuzzi, swimming pool, the best one is the outdoor massage pool, you can overlook the mountain, while we were there, it snowed a little and it's magical to have snow flakes coming down while you are in the warm spa. There is more, the tickets of cable car is included in your stay, we visit the peaks every day when we stayed there.

Stayed 3 nights between Christmas and New Year’s. 2 hours Uber ride from Krakow. Had a Classic room with View. Nice sized and comfortable with interiors in traditional style. The balcony had a clear view of the mountains. Bathroom was a little on the smaller side but no major issue. Quality of linens and housekeeping was excellent. Had booked on half board basis and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. At breakfast there was a large variety of cheese, breads, cold cuts and hot dishes. In addition a live eggs station. Only the juice is a dispenser machine and needs to improve. Dinner again had a wide variety of salads, starters, desserts and 4 non veg main courses. Wine is reasonably priced. The bar was a good option to round off the evening with a coffee or aperitif. The service everywhere including the reception, restaurant and Spa was excellent. Had booked directly on the hotel website and local cable cars were included. Also we did not have our own car but this was no problem. Bolt is easily availed and most areas in town are walkable.

i loved the hotel :) great location, many hikes are possible around there and the views are just amazing. we stayed at the hotel in September and we got some sunny days and it was definitely not too cold. the spa area is nice, sometimes maybe a bit too crowded but i enjoyed everyday.

Thank you so much to all the staff of Grandhotel Praha, you all have been absolutely amazing. We had the most beautiful wedding here, which exceeded our expectations. Special thank you to Denisa, who looked after us and our Irish guests so well. We couldn’t ask for a better wedding coordinator, you made us calm with your smile when we were all getting nervous before the big day. Great venue, beautiful nature and we can’t wait to come back. We booked this hotel for our trip across Slovakia specifically because on their website they tout their restaurant as absolutely gourmet fun with the finest delicacies from their chef. When I asked to reserve a table in the restaurant two weeks before our stay, their reply was that a reservation was not necessary. We only had to present ourselves in the restaurant with our room number and a table would be assigned to us. So we headed to this hotel with the prospect of an enjoyable gourmet evening. On arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was closed due to a wedding party and dinner would take place in another room. This is understandable, although apparently they did not know about that wedding party two weeks before (???). At the entrance to the venue, however, we were told to our dismay that we could not eat à la carte either. An extremely simple buffet was imposed on us, unworthy of a 4-star hotel. A real shame, especially considering the false promises made on their website and confirmed by e-mail.
But still a positive note to end on: everything else (accommodation, services, rich breakfast buffet, ...) was excellent.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. I have never encountered such impeccable staff. They are well-dressed, kind, and fully focused on their work. The restaurant is fantastic, and the food is prepared to perfection! The wellness area is also excellent! The elegance, cleanliness, and staff of the hotel are truly exemplary!

Had a great stay. Hotel is lovely. Room was very nice. Comfortable beds and spacious. Had a balcony over looking gardens. Breakfast was outstanding. Had everything you could want and a chef doing fresh omlettes etc. The wellness area was nice. Good indoor and outdoor facilities. Didn't use Sauna and that part as that only opens at 3pm and we went in the morning. Staff were friendly and polite and professional. Very good hotel. Ski room good for drying clothes and has key card access. Area feels safe. Got the ski pass and access to another water park as part of the deal. I think it may have been worth 5 stars really...it is just a bit expensive. Being slightly out of the centre too. There is a free minibus shuttle every 30 mins but is only a 10 min walk anyway. Lovely hotel but bit pricey.

Nice historical hotel, exceptional food, not a big selection but very good. The hotel staff are pleasant and friendly. Hotel is a short distance to the lifts, bobsleigh track and children's attractions. At the reception for a fee of 2 euros you can get a goocard and cable cars, and some swimming pools in the area are free of charge, which is great.

We stayed in the hotel during our trip to Lomnický Štít. The hotel is situated approximately 15 minutes walk from the train station. Very quiet part of Tatranská Lomnica not far from the mountains. Came bit early checked in and luggage left in the receptions cupboard. Here I would suggest to put a room tag on the luggage and when room ready put it inside rather then leaving it the reception room. It would be just an extra step to make a better impression. We stayed in the double room. Spotless clean, bathroom needs update but overall with minibar in the room I would give 4.5 stars for the room. Spa was absolutely amazing and I have visited many hotels before and their spa with lot of saunas, massages etc is comparable to 5 star hotels. Outside and inside pool, jacuzzi, bar makes it perfect place to spend time after all day hiking in Tatras. Public areas, toilets and lounge spotless clean and not busy. Absolutely loved the breakfast and is exactly the same standard what you get in 5 star hotels. Huge selection of food, drinks, polite and effective staff. Amazing. I want to say big thanks to Grandhotel Praha staff to make our stay memorable. My expectations I had before our stay were exceeded completely. Thank you.
