Aplend Resort Beatrice-Vila Julia in Tatranska Lomnica

Quiet, nice and clean apartment house 100 metres from the railway station platforms - the best location in Tatranská Lomnica, especially if you plan to get around by train. The breakfast in nearby Vila Beatrice is fresh and has many options.

Stayed 3 nights between Christmas and New Year’s. 2 hours Uber ride from Krakow. Had a Classic room with View. Nice sized and comfortable with interiors in traditional style. The balcony had a clear view of the mountains. Bathroom was a little on the smaller side but no major issue. Quality of linens and housekeeping was excellent. Had booked on half board basis and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. At breakfast there was a large variety of cheese, breads, cold cuts and hot dishes. In addition a live eggs station. Only the juice is a dispenser machine and needs to improve. Dinner again had a wide variety of salads, starters, desserts and 4 non veg main courses. Wine is reasonably priced. The bar was a good option to round off the evening with a coffee or aperitif. The service everywhere including the reception, restaurant and Spa was excellent. Had booked directly on the hotel website and local cable cars were included. Also we did not have our own car but this was no problem. Bolt is easily availed and most areas in town are walkable.

Had a great stay. Hotel is lovely. Room was very nice. Comfortable beds and spacious. Had a balcony over looking gardens. Breakfast was outstanding. Had everything you could want and a chef doing fresh omlettes etc. The wellness area was nice. Good indoor and outdoor facilities. Didn't use Sauna and that part as that only opens at 3pm and we went in the morning. Staff were friendly and polite and professional. Very good hotel. Ski room good for drying clothes and has key card access. Area feels safe. Got the ski pass and access to another water park as part of the deal. I think it may have been worth 5 stars really...it is just a bit expensive. Being slightly out of the centre too. There is a free minibus shuttle every 30 mins but is only a 10 min walk anyway. Lovely hotel but bit pricey.

Grandhotel Praha stands as a beacon of luxury and comfort in the heart of its picturesque surroundings, offering guests an unforgettable experience that combines opulence with natural beauty. It's breathtaking views, which serve as a constant reminder of the stunning landscape that surrounds the property. Perhaps one of the most enticing features of Grandhotel Praha is its heated outdoor pool, which provides a unique and invigorating experience for guests throughout the year.

The accommodation is huge, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is great, the surrand is brilliant side of the High Tatra mountain.
The staff are kind and flexible. it was possible to occupy the apartment before check-in time. The breakfast is continental, lot of kinds, has local food.
Valuable and recommended.

Nice historical hotel, exceptional food, not a big selection but very good. The hotel staff are pleasant and friendly. Hotel is a short distance to the lifts, bobsleigh track and children's attractions. At the reception for a fee of 2 euros you can get a goocard and cable cars, and some swimming pools in the area are free of charge, which is great.

We stayed in the hotel during our trip to Lomnický Štít. The hotel is situated approximately 15 minutes walk from the train station. Very quiet part of Tatranská Lomnica not far from the mountains. Came bit early checked in and luggage left in the receptions cupboard. Here I would suggest to put a room tag on the luggage and when room ready put it inside rather then leaving it the reception room. It would be just an extra step to make a better impression. We stayed in the double room. Spotless clean, bathroom needs update but overall with minibar in the room I would give 4.5 stars for the room. Spa was absolutely amazing and I have visited many hotels before and their spa with lot of saunas, massages etc is comparable to 5 star hotels. Outside and inside pool, jacuzzi, bar makes it perfect place to spend time after all day hiking in Tatras. Public areas, toilets and lounge spotless clean and not busy. Absolutely loved the breakfast and is exactly the same standard what you get in 5 star hotels. Huge selection of food, drinks, polite and effective staff. Amazing. I want to say big thanks to Grandhotel Praha staff to make our stay memorable. My expectations I had before our stay were exceeded completely. Thank you.

Been here second time and will come again. We had breakfasts and dinners included and both been 10/10 every day. Food there is really good with many choices. Wellness is also 10/10 is big spacious and with everything What should be there plus there is outside pool too. Rooms are big and modern in that newer part of the hotel. Staff is friendly and profesional except for one slightly rude receptionist on our arrival, then we meet her again for few times another days and also on our check-out and she was ok. We spend lot of times out hiking and eating and it was very easy to get everywhere from the hotel or from Tatranská Lomnica. But they should add extra train carriage on peak times. Then Tatranská Lomnica also need to wake up a bit as to compare it to Zakopane for example where always something happen and somwthing going on and live music is almost everywhere and atmosphere is much better, Tatranská Lomnica is not like that. Anyway this hotel worth a visit our overall experience was both times 10/10 and if you visit do not skip Stará mama restaurant closed to train station with Slovakian traditional food and go for a hike in those beatiful mountains. There are lot of hikes for begeniers too or just stay and relax is this amazing historic wellness hotel in mountains.

Great breakfast. The apartment had however bad equipments (window lids, fridge was really old/not fully functional) reading lamp was not working. They handed over 2hrs before official checkin which was nice. Overall good price and fair apartment for skiing holiday.

The accommodation is huge, comfortable, clean and will be equipped. The location is great, the surrand is brilliant side of the High Tatra mountain. A convenient mountain train is right next to it.
The breakfast is continental, lots of kinds, has local food.
Recommended.
