Globales Cala'n Blanes in Cala'N Blanes

We had a fab 14 night all inclusive holiday … I’d say you get what you pay for! The hotel is clean and comfortable. The entertainment team Cecee & Cherry ask everyone around the pool and bar if they want to play games like archery, pool tournaments etc so there is something for everyone if you want to do it. The pool was a large size albeit freezing in October but what can you expect. The food was ample and plenty to choose from, meat, fish, chicken & cooked veg, also a large selection of salads and deserts - it was on a weekly rotation so the second week we ate out a bit as we did get bored of it. But having said that breakfast was great, English cooked selection, also continental meats cheeses and yogurts - lots to choose. The snacks were pizza, chips etc. I think some people are just too picky. The drinks were great, all sprits, beers etc included and some cocktails. Nightly entertainment was bingo to start around 9pm then some singers, everyone was dancing and having a good time it lasted until about 11pm. No noise from my room with a sea view overlooking the beach. All in all, I would go back as the staff work really hard to ensure you have a good time. Take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt and enjoy!

Beautiful hotel and stay in August 2025. Staff were great, entertainers were amazing, food was good. Only issue we had was that on our day off departure, breakfast was required and hour earlier. The hotel refused to allow us a breakfast other than muffins, despite everything being placed out and despite the fact that we had paid for breakfast on this day.

Another amazing holiday at Globales. We have been in the summer, first time in September. What a holiday! The hotel as always is spotless, the houskeeping team work tirelessly keeping the hotel clean and tidy. We had a small issue in our room, which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The resteraunt/ bar staff work hard to make your holiday special and always go out of their way to help. For a small hotel the food selection is amazing! There is ALWAYS a good selection at all meal times. The staff make this hotel. We recognised many from our first summer holiday a few years ago. This makes our stay special. we have booked to come back again and cant wait

What a great time we had at this hotel the staff, reception,Reps and all the staff employed at this hotel were fantastic. The bar staff worked so hard so a big thank you to all of them We were there 1 week and it was full of fun with all the people we made friends with We had such a great holiday at this lovely hotel and would give it a 5 star for the fun we had. Food acceptable most days lovely clean restaurant, rooms made up daily a (bit tired looking) but at the price we paid through jet 2 was amazing. I have been all over the world so I know what I'm talking about!!! Would definitely go back again

Totally brilliant holiday all the staff so friendly and really made our stay fantastic. The hotel was so clean our room was spotless every day thanks to the lovely cleaning staff and with a great sea view every morning . The bar staff were amazing and the 2 entertainment staff were great and we had some fun with lots of laughs. Reception staff all good. If we had any issues over the 2 weeks occasionally food selection was a bit poor . We will certainly be going back in the future

This was a fab place for some much needed autumn sunshine. Great hotel, very comfortable and clean. A good range of food at all meals and really really helpful, friendly and polite staff, from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly checked out. A good range of entertainment too. It’s steps away from a beach where there are a number of beach bars and the most fabulous food at Sa Cova (see separate review) The sunset from the beach is a must. Also highly recommend Pont d’en Gil and a longer walk to Ciutadella - both beautiful places on an amazing island. So we returned on Monday after 5 days at this hotel. Was on my own with my son. It was my first solo holiday with him. We had a brilliant time. The hotel is so nice and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
I paid extra for a sea view room and it was perfect and well worth the extra money. The rooms are clean and spacious.
I am gluten and dairy free and the 2 male staff and chef took me around the restaurant every lunch and dinner time to show me I can eat which was so good of them.
The food was nice.
There was always plenty of sun beds too and the beach was literally at the back of the hotel with a bar and restaurants.
The entertainment at night was also good.
The water park is a good day out and only a ten minute walk from the hotel.
We got a taxi in to Ciutadella which was about 7 mins in a taxi and was such a beautiful place.
We went to another cove which was ten minute walk away and had a few hours jumping off rocks which my son loved.
I would definitely return to this hotel again

Lovely location and very clean and friendly hotel. The beach is just down some steps so literally on your doorstep. I visited with my 3 children (15 , 17 and 18) and we loved the plentiful selection of food which caters to all tastes so most people will find something delicious to eat. We stayed in a sea room which was definitely worth the extra money. It was very hot during our stay so my only slight issue was that the air-com was not cool enough for me in the restaurant but that is down to personal preference and not really a criticism. Staff are very friendly and informative, entertainment was good for a 3 star hotel and overall atmosphere was relaxed in keeping with the beautiful surroundings, no rowdiness or was seen. The clientele were a lovely mix of all different nationalities so really felt part of the Globales family so to speak . My only recommendation would be to allow access to the beach via the bar area before 10:30. We really enjoyed our stay at Cala’n Blanes and if you fancy exploring Ciutadella is just next door as well as the coves of Cala’n Forcat and Brut. Would definitely visit again. Thanks .

We stayed here for a week in August 2025. Overall, we had a lovely week. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the sea view rooms are stunning, if you are considering going I strongly suggest the sea view rooms as the others are just overlooking the car park. The food was different each night, we still ate out 3 times just for something different. Some pros and cons to consider Pro - beach is steps away and lovely and shallow for small children to paddle in with 2 bars/restaurants -staff are very helpful and can’t do enough for you - lots of activity in the day such as football archery water polo but these are for older children - sun beds always available as they have a grass area near to the pool Cons - no entertainment on an evening for small children. There was a mini disco twice in the week we were there, but this was only for 15mins. We often took our toddler for a walk or to nearby bars with bouncy castle to keep her entertained - no ice cream around the pool, have to go and sit inside the resteraunt if you would like an ice cream which is a shame you can’t sit round the pool with one - snack bar is just left over from breakfast lunch so we had to go stock up at supermarket - nearby bars are about a 20min walk away, the area here is quiet but it is a nice walk Overall we enjoyed our holiday but unsure if we would return again

I think the hotel is very well located, with beautiful beaches nearby and a friendly, helpful team. The staff truly seem to give their best, and I want to thank them for making my stay so enjoyable. You can tell they care, and that makes a big difference.

The service overall is good, and I definitely plan to return. I highly recommend choosing the "all-inclusive" option—it makes everything easier and more enjoyable. No stress about where to eat, and you can just relax and enjoy your time.

Breakfast is served in the traditional hotel style. Lunch is fabulous, with lots of variety, and dinner is a pleasant surprise—each night features a special dish from a different country, which adds a fun twist to the experience.

🍹 Bar & Cocktails
The bar and restaurant areas can get uncomfortable in summer due to the lack of air conditioning. Also, the cocktails could use an upgrade. If you order a Caipirinha or Tequila Sunrise, be specific about the alcohol quantity—otherwise, it might taste more like juice than a cocktail.

🚿 Room & Amenities
The swimming pool area is lovely and hosts great events. However, the showers sometimes fluctuate between hot and cold, which can be a bit annoying.

Overall, it's a great place to stay, and I truly appreciate the effort of the staff. Thank you all—I’ll definitely be coming back!
