Maxorata Beach Apartments in Corralejo

Before I start my review just be aware of these 2 points . 1. The hotel policy is on checking in you have to give a 150 euro deposit for any damages to your apartment. This is fully refundable on departure and is payable by cash or a valid credit card . We left the hotel at 1030 am and by the time I got home the pending transaction had been removed from my card so no issues . Point number 2 , if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room as second floor rooms have a spiral staircase of around 15 steps with no hand rail . So all I all this place is good. Friendly staff , cleaners come regularly, pool area good size and clean , plenty of sun beds not just round the pool ,close to all shops, restaurants and if your room is like ours it was massive, with a balcony that had the sun all day till 4pm which my wife was quite happy with. Would I return, yes . So give it a try , .

Great value little complex. Very clean. Staff are lovely. Pool bar is ace and good food. Cleaners work tirelessly! The place is spotless. Great location. 10 min walk to everything. Huge rooms.

We have been to Maxorata beach 5 times and have just booked to go back in February 2027. Yes is is a little dated but is spotless and cleaned regularly. I guess people react to how they are treated and I have always found staff really nice. Fantastic location, very quiet at night. As for extras, yes they charge for a safe and other bits and pieces and they take a deposit as people have damaged some apartments, which is fair enough. It is returnable on departure. Don't be put off by some reviews, go and have a great time.

We stayed here at Maxatora apartments last year. We found it handy for the Campanario shopping etc and the other way for all amenities. Stayed in a Superior junior suite. We knew what to expect. Basic but Clean. Comfortable beds though we asked for a extra blanket as it was cold the first week of our stay. Wifi was hit and miss so reported it to reception as it was brilliant last year, We did see a engineer doing the cables a few days later and Wifi was better a coincidence maybe? Enough cutlery etc for your needs. Don't expect 5* it's not, it's a decent apartments complex with a pool, cafe sunbeds. Rebooked for next year.

Please don’t believe the few bad reviews ….. currently here now after returning following our stay last August. Peaceful apartments, great location clean and comfortable and the staff are great, really don’t get the people who choose one of 5he cheapest option on most of the holiday platforms which are 3⭐️⭐️⭐️ then expect 4/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ luxury. Been to several hotels over the last 15 years of holidaying on the Island and I would return here again after this visit. They do ask for a card holding if €150 euro as a damage/property waiver we paid this last summer never had any issue as it was never charged to my card. As you pay this deposit I never had to pay for kettle etc as long as you return it at checkout you don’t get charged. Last visit we had an upstairs apartment near reception which was ok, this time we have a 1 bed at the back of the complex which is lovely and quiet. Yes the furniture is a little dated but let’s be honest does this really spoil my holiday 🤔🤣 and it does exactly what it needs to. Great base for exploring and Corralejo itself please ignore the moaners if you want luxury then go to one of the many big hotel chains available and pay double or more then you can have a real moan when it still doesn’t meet your approval 🤣😎👍🏻

We have not stayed for a few years but returned three weeks ago. A warm welcome in reception and nice very clean family room where we have enjoyed a nice quiet stay. Some reviews are totally out of line and we will be returning. Towels are very nice and sheets and apartment cleaned and well equipped. Thank you team for a lovely stay.
