We had a fab time staying here. The beach and sea water very clean. Steps to beach require some effort but good exercise after a day lying on the beach

We loved the heated pool, the food and the location.

Amazing place, where everyone can find something interesting! Multiple swimming pools suitable for adults and children

The staff were polite and very helpful. The room aas spacious comfortable and clean. The amenities were all good with plenty going on and a variety of foods and beverages available. We will definitely return

Hotel seems huge from the outside but with multiple buildings it doesn't feel that way at all! And finally, cherry on the cake, the beach! It's literally next to the hotel and it's one of the best beaches I've ever seen! Crystal clear water, waves offering hours of fun, golden sand and black rocks 🏖️ Rooms are probably the weakest point of the hotel as they should've been refurbished a while ago...

A beautiful beach is located very close to the hotel, perfect for morning walks and swimming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable

We had a really nice week at the Occidental Playa, the pool areas were large enough to accommodate everyone and loads of sunbeds so no need to reserve (but people did!!) The snack bar at the bottom pool was excellent and we only tried the main restaurant for lunch once

Yes the rooms are bit dated but who goes on holiday to spend time in the room ? The bed and pillows were comfy and the sea view was lovely. There was a lot of choice in the restaurant

[The beach is huge] We wanted to say bye to "our" cleaner lady but she wasn't there on our last day, so. thank you to her for caring for us for a week. Also, thank you to the spa ladies for the nice relaxing day

We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want. beach bar, snack bar all day along

and if you want to be far from everything, just go down the golden sandy Jandia beach where you can relax by yourself

We heard of room changes due to mobility issues, but at least the walk up and down burns off the calories! We fed back that this isn’t helped by the pool towel pick up/drop off being up the top the main reception away from the pools

The hotel is well located with a lovely beach and nearby facilities. What we enjoyed the most is the variety and quality of the evening entertainments, great also for families with kids

Also another small but important aspect was that the outdoor pools were heated so the kids could enjoy the water play even in a cooler weather

Great resort with lots of activities and beach access. Booked for half board and buffet hall was wonderful particularly for breakfast. Fantastic views from the balcony

Great hotel in the beautiful alcove of Caleta de Fuste. Barceló has extensive facilities, a good all inclusive option and bedroom was clean and spacious with king bed

Friendly staff - especially our cleaner, great evening entertainment, room was clean but looking a bit tired and in need of a light refurb

Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. My daughter loved the pool area and I particularly liked the fact that one pool was heated. The pool bar was very convenient for quick snacks

They kindly upgraded us to a premium suite and a bottle of bubbly was waiting for us on arrival!!! Such a thoughtful touch! Aliou in the bar is the very best and looked after us really well each time we were there! He is extremely friendly and made us feel very valued and at ease

This hotel was even better than we expected. Everywhere is beautifully clean and well presented. We were treated so well from arrival to departure. Rooms were cleaned every day and mini bar replenished

I really liked the fact that there was a beach bag in every room for you to use whilst there. Poolside drinks service was wonderful as well as the serve yourself drinks area

We used this every day! A great addition to the hotel. Sunbeds seem quite tightly packed but were very comfortable. Plenty of parasols for everyone too

There was a wide array of activities you could join in with every day. Or, just sit by the pool and relax! The beach (literally in front of the hotel) was a 10 minute walk and is gorgeous

The set menu dinner at the Almar was not to everyone's taste but still fabulous, professional and friendly service with well cooked, well presented food. The other place to mention is the coffee shop

We truly enjoyed the experience. Just a thought: rent a car for a day or two and go see the island: the Popcorn Beach was beautiful; the town of Campo Calma (8 miles away) was very beautiful and relaxing

The grounds are stunning with beautifully kept flowers and trees. The views from our hotel room was simply gorgeous. The various pools are exceptionally with choice for all kinds of water activities

Ther food was very good and the entertainment was fun. My wife and I enjoyed the water aerobics class, the beach, and we did the Adult Sauna daily

We mostly enjoyed to time (at 1815) when the person did the scented oils on the heat and used a towel and a huge fan to move the air around the sauna. We let our bodies absorb the fragrances after

German is obviously the main language spoken but given we don’t speak it, most staff were very competent in English. The shows (particularly Wonka) were excellent and although in German it didn’t stop us enjoying them

This hotel is fantastic both for families with children and for adults alone. Kids will not be bored, there is a pool with water slides, kids club run by good entertainers, even gymnastics and swimming classes for kids

Both our adult children had single rooms on the ground floor, so had a nice outdoor area although the rooms were not as modern This space was used a lot as there was a lack of sun beds round the pool to use with people reserving them very early in the day and then often leaving them unused for much of the day Food was excellent as per previous holidays to Robinsons resorts

The best hotel in Fuerteventura, the restaurant service is fantastic. Without a doubt, the best thing is the pool bar, with a wide variety of drinks, and the staff is unbeatable

We particularly enjoyed the beach tennis sessions which was run by a couple of excellent coaches Matthias and Alex. Unlike other Robinsons hotels we have stayed at, this was not all inclusive but full board

However, there always seems to be a lack of seating at mealtimes with Robinsons which is very frustrating and something that could’ve rectified easily particularly at breakfast

Overall, a very good holiday although there are some are areas that Robinsons should look at. The location was great and next to a lovely big sandy beach

The food is amazing and they have a lot of different options per evening. I feel very welcome in the club because al the people here are so kind and social. I will definitly come back agian!!

Even more so for those who have food intolerences like Celiac disease and you need a gluten free diet. So well done to every one here. Entertainment is good and well done to the animation team, they do a good job

I was pleasantly surrprised to see Mohamed , I recognised him from another hotel in an another Canary island. From the managenent all the waiting, cleaning and pool staff

He made us very welcome and showed us to our room. He was quite chatty , friendly and made sure we were settled in , we were very impressed. But I have to say all staff in the reception area are all nice and helpful

So well done wveryone, for making it an enjoyable stay. Jackline, who is the Director of the hotel has a great team working for her. I would also like a Special mention to Heiko who looks after my diet well

The Restaurant is amazing, you are made most welcome and well looked after by everyone from the moment you arrive to when you leave. The food is amazing, fabulous selection and cater well for everyone

There may be some of you who have still to try out this hotel and see for yourselves just how good it is. I have noticed many other guests who like ourselves are repeat customers

We enjoyed our visit to the a la carte restaurant. The restaurant staff were all very helpful and approachable. The drinks were priced reasonably and it suited us to just buy a couple a day so we didn't need AI

The restaurant team is again incredible, when people moan about the food they have probably never worked in the hospitality industry. The kitchen team and the service team were incredible

We stayed for 7 nights on a half board basis. We loved the holiday and would definitely return. Our room was spacious, comfortable and we had a great view too (rm ***)

We didn’t do any major activities as our little one doesn't need to many activities yet, but we did pay €1 for some fish food and feed the fish! Bargain! We definitely want to return to Caleta de Fuste and would happily return to this hotel if they had the dates available

Each day our room was serviced, beds made, bathroom and teas maid restocked. Breakfast was very varied and we enjoyed the food and thought it was good quality. Evening meal was also varied with a wide range of themes

One day I went down to ask for an extra towel and it arrived before I got back to the room! The pools areas are great, we never had an issue getting loungers and the splash pool and family pool were heated - what a treat! The daytime entertainment was amazing! Daytime pool mini-disco was a hit with our 5 year old, we also thought the water carpet was great fun

Safe was an extra €18/week, and the windows really couldn't be left open for ventilation as they wouldn't lock on vent setting while sleeping, nor were there screens, so we also had a few mosquitos and filter flies come in

Pool area was nice, and the bar near the pool was open, even in January, as was the evening restaurant. Didn't partake of the evening entertainment

Room included a microwave, kettle, two ring halogen hob, fridge and toaster, along with plates, bowls, and some cooking pans in good condition. This was a surprise, as nothing was promised by EasyJet

The shower had good pressure, and the lounge area had a sofabed and a table and chairs for 4, There was also an outside patio with a table and 4 chairs, and a clothes airer

I also saw one cockroach nymph in the middle of the night in the bathroom, but squashed it on sight, otherwise no problems with insects

Some very small ants around, so like everywhere in spain you need to be very tidy to avoid infestation

Good hotel ( our 3rd visit in 7 years) but rooms a bit tired and dated now; structural damage to balcony evident; patio doors wouldn’t lock which mean wind whistled through at night ; lifts were constantly problematic two out of order during our stay; jacuzzi spa pools in grounds have been removed which was disappointing; photos are still showing them present; also charging for water at dinner seemed...

I rented a surfboard next door and had a great week of surfing on the beach next door. Corona measures also very smooth. The buffets are great with lots of choice, also numerous healthy and high-protein options

Very nice 7-night stay at this Hotel. All staff are friendly and very helpful. Luz at the pool bar definitely looks after people

During our first couple of days and nights, the room felt quite cold, even with extra blankets, but reception handed us an electric fire, which did the job. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there

The layout of the hotel/grounds is perfect and looks out on the best beach in Europe

The food, whether you are on all inclusive or half board, is decent enough, breakfast included, although if you are hoping for a late cappuccino you will need to take a short trip to the pool bar

This is located right on the beach, and about 100 meters from the sea. Basically, it's ok, cheap and cheerful

Fantastic hotel , right on the beach. All Inclusive option super value and food is very good. Two smaller restaurants you can book too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reception very attentive to your needs

She suggested and helped me to call a cap to pick up my glasses from the hotel and send us to the airports. Same as other comments that the hotel is a bit dated but it was expected

Didn’t see much comment about the food. It’s all inclusive hotel, so you can enjoy the drink and food nearly 24 hours 😆. You will find different types of food every day

As we were late check in, and the buffet was ending in 40 minutes, the staff helped to arranged the simple check in and let us enjoy our dinner first

It could really do with updating but the spanish staff make this place what it is, a really fun place to stay. Morro Jable is gorgeous and a must visit place

We had just returned from the Maldives and took an extended stay at the Aldiana. We really love this place even though it is tired and threadbare

It was a wonderful experience being there. The staffs were very friendly, food was great, the activities are fun! I can't wait to come back next year!

During my 1-week-holiday in february, 2026 I had the best experience at Aldiana Fuerteventura, this time all alone

After a beautiful stay with my family last summer, I travelled on my own this time and enjoyed the stay, including excellent food, beach bar with a view, friendly staff, great yoga classes, in my tiny little bungalow

It’s lovely to walk between the bungalows and make your way down to the beach. The club is set directly on the sea, with beautiful sandy beaches

and approx 10 steps to the pool on one side, and 10 steps to the beach on the other side

My return flight wasn't until 9pm, and check-out is at 12 noon - however, they allow you to use the facilities and even have a shower and changing room so that you could freshen up after the day and before leaving for your flight - what a bonus! They also ordered the most perfect week of weather! LOL LOL AMAZING STAY - will definitely return!!! THANK YOU Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo

From the moment I arrived I felt very welcomed and the staff couldn't do enough. The bungalow I stayed in was sublime - everything I needed and more

The Mexican buffet wasn’t replenished regularly and involved long queues in a fairly small space, while the Brazilian restaurant involved lengthy waits between small servings of meat, and the process wasn’t explained by staff

If you wish to have a room with a terrace facing the sun you will have to contact the hotel and may be charged accordingly. To say our room is huge is an understatement and even has a Jacuzzi

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always willing to help. There are various pools so even the smallest children will be catered for. There are outside amenities that you can use at cost in the local town

What I love about this hotel is the attention to detail in every way. There is a spa should you wish to partake and quite a lot of choice. The restaurant offers a large selection of food options

There are other restaurants in the hotel but booking is required. Even though the hotel is in the flight path of planes landing I can honestly say that it didn’t bother me

You could get a taxi to save time but going by coach gives you a general layout of the town We were given an upgrade which was very of the hotel

The hotel is close to the airport but is the last visited by the drop off coach

The hotel is clean, rooms are also clean and modern. Pools are good but in the winter months only one pool is heated which is not the one where the main bar is and sunbeds are limited

The beach itself was beautiful, and we really appreciated the clean public toilets, which were well maintained by an on-site attendant. Overall, it was a great choice for travelling with a toddler

Good standard according to the room price, good food, especially the hotel's well-prepared Christmas dinner. Not far from the beach and local shops

Nice swimming pools, but unfortunately the heated one had the same temperature as the others. The town itself is a bit dirty, but I believe that's not the local people's fault. I generally recommend visiting

Beds arent the comfiest the sofa bed was much softer on our backs but apart from that we was really happy with the room. Locationed in a lovely area , its about a 10-15min walk to the beach

Pool was just about bearable in mid December but again very clean. Thanks to everyone that made our week away special

This beautiful hotel is a half an hour from the airport by taxi €70. Nice to see the area on this journey. It has a lovely laid back, relaxed vibe to it. Stayed in a pool view room on the 3rd floor and it was beautiful

The Rock and ball nightclub wasn’t open during my time here. They have a beautiful spa too. It offers many treatments and they do aqua fit classes in their pool whenever it’s cold in the outdoor pool

The other restaurants were, I found much better quality. Beach bar staff wise was a bit it and miss as it wasn’t continuously staffed while I was there and you could have a wait to be served

The hotel is a good 15 min walk into to town (if you are a fast walker!) There is a main ***** with the usual shops, bars and restaurants but it is the seafront walk that is much nicer

With all it’s beautiful villas along the way and beachfront restaurants and bars. Where you can watch the sunset. Evening entertainment was a bit bland, solo singers or duets

Same with poolside service too & it was quicker to go and get a drink yourself. Staff members were all very friendly and all was good

Evening entertainment was alright, singers, karaoke, Latin nights, one night they had people up learning salsa, it was good. We didn't really watch it but it was good. Hotel was clean and tidy, no complaints at all

Something to be aware of, snack bar was non existent but to be honest, breakfast lunch and dinner were all spaced really well you didn't need the snack bar. You can get ice cream from the drinks bar open from around 10

Despite reading a few mixed reviews beforehand, we found the hotel to be welcoming, well-run, and a great choice for families. Food & Dining The food offering was consistently varied and plentiful across all meals

Food - we really enjoyed the food, massive variety, something for everyone easily. Salad bar was great, home made pizzas, steak, beef, turkey. It had it all, kids eat really well

Breakfast was a particular highlight, with a full hot selection including bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes, and a made-to-order omelette and fried egg station

Drink cups you pay 1 euro and keep the cup the entire holiday but then at the end of the holiday, give them back and you get your money back

A perfectly location right on the beach and a short walk from restaurants and bars. The check in was straight forward and reception staff very help polite and helpful

The junior suite was very spacious and clean and included a in room safe. Pool area lovely and always plenty of beds. Pool a little cold in early May

My husband and I came here for his 30th for 4 nights and it was fantastic! We didn’t have a great start to the holiday with our flight being delayed and our case being missing

So attentive and couldn’t do anymore for you. 10/10 We found the location was ideal, right on the beach with a sea view and a 15/20min walk to main bars and restaurants. We would definitely come back

We really enjoyed our short break here. Hotel is literally on the beach and the weather was fantastic! It was €10. 50 for two beds and an umbrella on the beach if you don’t fancy the pool

This is a lovely hotel with a very unusual and interesting layout. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pools are very good but the pool bar is too small for the hotel and the other bar doesn't open until late

That said, if you’re looking for a relaxing and family-friendly beach holiday, this hotel is a very good choice. We had a great stay and would definitely consider returning!

Amazing hotel with brilliant staff, entertainment for every age group,lovely food, clean and spacious rooms. The distance to the beach is 3 minutes. The special shout out goes to Kati, Eugenio, Mendez and Cristian

Lovely hotel and staff are amazing especially Jessica the guest relations manager and we had an amazing receptionist & bell boy who greeted us on Sunday 18th. Id highly recommend the hotel for a relaxed family break.

The hotel serves the food literally all day long. Reception is open 24h, cash machine in place. Evening entertainment was brilliant and the same as day activities. This hotel should be rated as 5*

This hotel is in a great location with a large selection of pools in different areas making them feel separate to one another

The beach is close by with a nice walk towards it, and is also a stones throw away form many shops with a decent selection of food places

Had a great stay at this hotel. Clean, modern, friendly staff. Room had a terrace with a sea view, mini fridge, comfy beds, nice bathroom. The hotel felt safe and was a 10 minute walk to the beach

The poolside again quite tried and needs touching up but the pools themselves are clean. The view is probably the hotels greatest asset. Breaktaking panorama of the beach

Good location, good food, good pool, very cold water for the time of year

I would definitely recommended this place to all, but I must say from travelling in February the hotel was rather busy, so I cannot account for a summer time experience here, which I would imagine could get very busy
