All good except entertainment team which was not very good at letting guests know whats happening when and what's next. There are boards which you have to check yourself if you are interested in any activities
It really is an amazing hotel, its over a large area, it was early February when we came, beautiful pools (although the largest was being refurbished at the time of our stay) not very busy
Be careful at the steps getting down to the beach ! Very dangerous especially with strong wind ! We helped one lady , otherwise shole would fall down and god knows what would happen
Yet they still sold me something, even though they knew I wanted to take my 5-year-old to the Kids Club at that time, while I wanted to go jet-skiing with my 11-year-old—but the Kids Club closed at 9 a
Communication is a key ;) also prices at the shops are a little bit rediculous so if you need anything - there is a little town near by. Take a taxi and go there ;)food was ok
I also booked a car that was supposed to come to the hotel. Instead, they were supposed to pick me up from the hotel and take me somewhere else to complete the paperwork

We had a really nice week at the Occidental Playa, the pool areas were large enough to accommodate everyone and loads of sunbeds so no need to reserve (but people did!!)
The snack bar at the bottom pool was excellent and we only tried the main restaurant for lunch once
[The beach is huge]
We wanted to say bye to "our" cleaner lady but she wasn't there on our last day, so. thank you to her for caring for us for a week. Also, thank you to the spa ladies for the nice relaxing day
We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want. beach bar, snack bar all day along
and if you want to be far from everything, just go down the golden sandy Jandia beach where you can relax by yourself
We heard of room changes due to mobility issues, but at least the walk up and down burns off the calories!
We fed back that this isn’t helped by the pool towel pick up/drop off being up the top the main reception away from the pools
The beach looks to be just over the road but it is a bit of a trek. The hotel provides a shuttle bus twice a day. Ok that's the bad stuff over with

The easy access to the beach and local shops was also good. The reason for not giving five stars was the buffet food. It was lovely at breakfast but fairly medium quality at dinner. Depends what you like, I suppose
Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. My daughter loved the pool area and I particularly liked the fact that one pool was heated. The pool bar was very convenient for quick snacks
Spent the 1st afternoon laid on the sun loungers watching the little ones (and a few adults) having fun in a foam pool party, it looked amazing. Food is always good and can find something to fill you up
Great resort with lots of activities and beach access. Booked for half board and buffet hall was wonderful particularly for breakfast. Fantastic views from the balcony
A true one-stop-shop for those with mobility issues. Staff are efficient and friendly. We particularly appreciated Gemma's smiling welcome to our meals and Sandra's professional touch in Tindaya
The kids’ club is fantastic, and there are plenty of adult activities too – from sports to cocktail-making classes – so there’s always something to do for everyone

The service has been 100% perfect, we even got an upgrade on our room to a 5* white washed bedroom free of charge with a slight sea front view. Any help you need the staff are always looking to help without the attitude
Great food at the buffet. Star prestige room was great with great view. Star prestige pool area with drinks and snacks was great. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about at all!
New cushions on the sun loungers - lovely. New layout by the pool with a walkway and pagodas - lovely
Only one things, toilet next to the main restaurant smell really bad, seems like there is problem with drain or something else. When this smell mixed up with cleaning products it was hard to breath in there
Definitely need to sort it out. Also swimming pools very cold, expect little baby one. But this is a minor problems, in general we are very satisfied. Food is excellent, view is amazing, really good entertainment
It’s just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea whenever we felt like it. The whole atmosphere of the resort was relaxing, comfortable, and truly enjoyable

We truly enjoyed the experience. Just a thought: rent a car for a day or two and go see the island: the Popcorn Beach was beautiful; the town of Campo Calma (8 miles away) was very beautiful and relaxing
The grounds are stunning with beautifully kept flowers and trees. The views from our hotel room was simply gorgeous. The various pools are exceptionally with choice for all kinds of water activities
Ther food was very good and the entertainment was fun. My wife and I enjoyed the water aerobics class, the beach, and we did the Adult Sauna daily
We mostly enjoyed to time (at 1815) when the person did the scented oils on the heat and used a towel and a huge fan to move the air around the sauna. We let our bodies absorb the fragrances after
German is obviously the main language spoken but given we don’t speak it, most staff were very competent in English. The shows (particularly Wonka) were excellent and although in German it didn’t stop us enjoying them
This hotel is fantastic both for families with children and for adults alone. Kids will not be bored, there is a pool with water slides, kids club run by good entertainers, even gymnastics and swimming classes for kids

and approx 10 steps to the pool on one side, and 10 steps to the beach on the other side
My return flight wasn't until 9pm, and check-out is at 12 noon - however, they allow you to use the facilities and even have a shower and changing room so that you could freshen up after the day and before leaving for your flight - what a bonus!
They also ordered the most perfect week of weather! LOL LOL
AMAZING STAY - will definitely return!!!
THANK YOU Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo
Absolutely awesome resort! The location is amazing and there is no need to leave the resort as everything you need is on site. It was a luxury to have a bungalow with it's own patio area to catch the evening sun
Staff were great, so helpful. Bungalows eere a great space. Brilliant varietyof foodfir the buffets. Lovely area, would def go back.
From the moment I arrived I felt very welcomed and the staff couldn't do enough. The bungalow I stayed in was sublime - everything I needed and more
The Mexican buffet wasn’t replenished regularly and involved long queues in a fairly small space, while the Brazilian restaurant involved lengthy waits between small servings of meat, and the process wasn’t explained by staff

We packed our daughter's folding scooter and it was brilliant that she could just scoot along. The marina has some bars and cafes and a range of activities such as boat trips, sea lion swimming etc
Each day our room was serviced, beds made, bathroom and teas maid restocked. Breakfast was very varied and we enjoyed the food and thought it was good quality. Evening meal was also varied with a wide range of themes
One day I went down to ask for an extra towel and it arrived before I got back to the room! The pools areas are great, we never had an issue getting loungers and the splash pool and family pool were heated - what a treat! The daytime entertainment was amazing! Daytime pool mini-disco was a hit with our 5 year old, we also thought the water carpet was great fun
We didn’t do any major activities as our little one doesn't need to many activities yet, but we did pay €1 for some fish food and feed the fish! Bargain! We definitely want to return to Caleta de Fuste and would happily return to this hotel if they had the dates available
We enjoyed our visit to the a la carte restaurant. The restaurant staff were all very helpful and approachable. The drinks were priced reasonably and it suited us to just buy a couple a day so we didn't need AI
The nearest beach is about 3 metres away from the hotel grounds! Stunning beach with lots of fish to see and really soft sand. What a treat to be so close by

Corralejo, Avda. Maxorata, 2, 35660, Corralejo , La Oliva , Fuerteventura , Spain 🧭 Map
Safe was an extra €18/week, and the windows really couldn't be left open for ventilation as they wouldn't lock on vent setting while sleeping, nor were there screens, so we also had a few mosquitos and filter flies come in
Pool area was nice, and the bar near the pool was open, even in January, as was the evening restaurant. Didn't partake of the evening entertainment
Room included a microwave, kettle, two ring halogen hob, fridge and toaster, along with plates, bowls, and some cooking pans in good condition. This was a surprise, as nothing was promised by EasyJet
The shower had good pressure, and the lounge area had a sofabed and a table and chairs for 4, There was also an outside patio with a table and 4 chairs, and a clothes airer
I also saw one cockroach nymph in the middle of the night in the bathroom, but squashed it on sight, otherwise no problems with insects
Some very small ants around, so like everywhere in spain you need to be very tidy to avoid infestation

We really enjoyed our short break here. Hotel is literally on the beach and the weather was fantastic! It was €10. 50 for two beds and an umbrella on the beach if you don’t fancy the pool
music round pool exceptionally loud and need to be mindful of the average age of those being forced to listen to it and play music types accordingly
Great hotel. The food is excellent, varied. Everything is clean. The staff is friendly. I recommend it for a holiday.
This was our second stay. We were happy the first time and just wanted to have a wonderful vacation again.
All inclusive was fine lots of options, food was always available essentially snacks etc too - my only criticism was sometimes the labelling was missing on food and as someone with an allergy I had to be careful
I also had a massage whilst I was there and it was fantastic. I felt beyond relaxed afterwards. Staff were all super friendly and helpful if we had any queries/ issues

The best hotel in Fuerteventura, the restaurant service is fantastic. Without a doubt, the best thing is the pool bar, with a wide variety of drinks, and the staff is unbeatable
Great resort! Beautiful beach, good food and nice stuff/people! The watersports team did a very good job (sailing, diving and surfing). Nice little restaurant at the beach that hosts an additional late breakfast.
The food is amazing and they have a lot of different options per evening. I feel very welcome in the club because al the people here are so kind and social. I will definitly come back agian!!
"An amazing stay in Fuerteventura! This hotel is perfectly located, just steps from stunning beaches and great restaurants. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with breathtaking views
I spend a nice time in this club, The service from the workers is excelent , flor sure my plan is come back as soon as possible to this place!
Excellent experience, especially at the pool bar and restaurant. They always serve you with a smile and offer everything you need. We'll definitely be back.

There are themed nights for food - we really enjoyed the meatballs! Lots to choose from for breakfast (Bruno and his omelettes - do try them) along with a good range of different foods at lunch either in the restaurant or at the pool bar
The hotel itself is superbly located next to a beach which is accessible via a 2min walk out of the hotel (more easily accessible to Star Prestige guests (which we were) via a card-accessible electronic door between the hotel and beach
Really varied range of dishes. not mainly just sea food that you often tend to get
English TV channels were also inaccessible during the stay which we were advised was due to a technical issue being worked on and also effected other nationalities channels (I didn't find issue with any other channels oddly) Food The main Buffet restaurant was great
*Would have liked sun loungers on the balcony rather than table/chairs Only other small points to note were a particularly stiff balcony door which was really difficult to open and a faulty noisy tea/coffee maker (both were addressed speedily)
Negative was that a lot of the food depending what you chose was quite often only warm which was a shame The grills where 2 meats and 2 fish were made fresh as well as Omelettes etc made to order were lovely as well as hot

Excellent location right on a beautiful 11km stretch of beach. Magnificent views from the guest rooms. Food is very good, with wide choices available
Location is right on the beach, rooms are good and food is nice. However it's absolutely destroyed by the evening entertainment that you cannot escape (even in your room)
Whether you’re looking to relax by the pool, enjoy long beach walks, or explore the island, this hotel is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Canary Islands!
5! for location and good all inclusive for a reasonable price. The hotel is isolated in the middle of dune which creates great impression
Great kite-surf spot is just on the next beach. Among the minuses - the hotel is old, the rooms are from 2000s. We've even spot 1 small cockroach in the room. However, all the "+"s beat the "-"s in this case
Hotel situated in the national park dunes and is not close to anywhere. 5 hours to walk to Correlejo via the beach or 15 mins on bus which is regular. Hotel is direct on to the beach and the beach is fantastic

It’s lovely to walk between the bungalows and make your way down to the beach. The club is set directly on the sea, with beautiful sandy beaches
However, be aware there are no sun loungers or umbrellas on the beach – you'll need to bring towels (were provided by the club) and lie directly on the sand, which can be a bit inconvenient over time
That said, the beach is ideal for long, scenic walks. Our bungalow was clean and simple, with a double bed and a sofa bed – perfectly adequate for our needs
It was a wonderful experience being there. The staffs were very friendly, food was great, the activities are fun! I can't wait to come back next year!
Toller Club, tolles Ambiente, sehr nette Mitarbeiter, vielfältiges Angebot - kommen wieder :-)

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea view room which was fantastic (definitely worth it if you can afford it). Rooms were spacious and comfortable and daily access to the really great spa was lovely
The area immediately surrounding the hotel isn't very pretty (nothing to do with the hotel!) but the sea views at the rear of the hotel are beautiful
This is a great location with fabulous views. Although, it wasn't the best for swimming in the sea - due to rocks, tide times, wind and waves
They were literally queuing at 9am waiting for the rope to be lifted so they could run to grab their loungers!! That’s the only gripe though (and the fact the bathroom towels are still poor quality for a 5 star hotel)
The walk to Carallejo along the coast isn't paved like many other promenades in the Canaries so anyone with mobility issues might struggle. Overall a fantastic hotel that I'd definitely recommend
I had a great view of Lobos Island from my room. I definitely got what I wanted - a calm place to recharge my batteries. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Thank you to everyone at the hotel

Sunbeds were bad to be honest lots of broken ones and parasol none existing! The ones they had really needed heavier weights as when the wind got them they flew! Sunbed availability was good we found we never struggled and even tho the hotel say they move towels this didn't happen when we went and we put towels down around 8 had breakfast and went round pool no trouble at all
I want to write special notice for Ayman from the animation team because he is doing such a good job and we are having so much fun with him in the activities. Really nice guy, nice to talk to him!
No sunbed wars a couple of people had towels out but not many, plenty of sunbeds to go around. Pool bar was great from cold drinks to tea, slushies, cocktails and ice creams from 10
The hotel had good facilities pool we used was a great size - cold but then it’s not summer… Food was decent - there were microwaves for those who worry about it not being hot Rooms spacious and comfy
The staff on arrival and throughout our stay was very helpful and friendly, we’d requested a apartment close by to everything due to disabilities, we couldn’t have been any closer literally a 30 second walk to the pool and restaurant
Cleaners, pool cleaners, ground staff everyone was very helpful and smiley, and not to forget the reception staff forever helpful. Rooms are big and with air-conditioning. Would we stay here again 100%

I found it great for exactly what I needed on a solo break
I really liked the reception staff, tennis courts, location, very comfy beds. Great hot shower! Pool ok, little cold but it's winter!! I suggest exploring everywhere. Great shops, great walks, beaches
Excellent property, great location and facilities.
Great location for winter sun!! Hotel is not 4 star. But that's because they do have a staff shortage problem in busy holiday times, its a big hotel many people including large families
I think it's not helped by tourists leaving their food and mess. At least try and create less work in busy times! For the price, you do get what you pay for
The hotel staff are very friendly. But location is very far from the airport so you should definitely plan and book your transportation in advance. If not taxi price is over a hundred euros

We had lunch at the pool bar on our last day and wish we had ate here earlier, great choice and delicious food! Again staff were very friendly and helpful
Service here at times were slow but staff were so lovely we didn’t mind the wait for our drinks!! Overall had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!!
At night we enjoyed sitting on the balcony off the piano bar and listening to the entertainment
Thanks to all the team members who really go above and beyond to create memorable experiences. As repeat guests we appreciated the many ways in which we were acknowledged, from early check in, welcoming gifts etc
However we did mention twice during our 10 day stay that one of the single beds which were put together to form a king bed was broken, it remained that way for the whole time. On day 2 we went pay our bar tab

I was facing the pool, but didn’t find it noisy
Not as chaotic as some AI buffet restaurants. People were nicely dressed for dinner. Men don’t need to wear long trousers despite the info on Jet2 website. Great sized room with view of pool, lighthouse & sea
We have stayed many times in Jandia at various hotels. This is the first time here and what a delight! Not a huge hotel which is an advantage. Perfect location for beach, shops. We chatted to some lovely people
There was a gentleman in reception was very polite and helpful he gave me his card to get in touch next year before my visit to ask for a room in the same level and request to stay until 4pm on my departure date
Not many children in November but those that were here were very well behaved. Food & drink are great but like any AI gets a bit repetitive over 14 days. Dined outdoors on the lovely terrace for all meals
Lovely spacious room,my room was near the reception which I requested as being a solo traveler it’s important to me that I don’t have far to walk to my room from the entertainment area

Nice hotel, just a few minutes walk to the beach and the town/shops/restaurants
Nice pool area with a plenty of sun loungers
Nice spa
Staff all friendly and accommodating
Food was nice with lots of choice buffet-style breakfast and dinner, lunch was choose from a menu and cooked to order
Nice selection of cocktails
All I would say is that I found the bed not the greatest as I had a backache each...
Pool area is spotless and there are plenty of sunbeds
Breakfast is great, really wide variety of options
Small point for improvement: rooms could do with more plug points but that is a minor issue
The pool area was lovely but people saving beds did get a bit frustrating when they were reserved most of the day without being used even though notes from the hotel state they will be removed if not used
Evening turn down service was an added bonus - loved the little choccies and clean towels every day. Staff work very hard to keep this hotel beautiful and look after guests so they can relax fully
The food was really impressive we have stayed in many hotels with buffet styles restaurants and would say this is one of the best for food plenty of choice and always hot
The hotel was really nice and only a short walk to the town. The room was spacious and comfy plenty of pillows and cleaned daily

There could be more sunbeds, as some selfish holiday makers are saving beds in the morning, going shopping or to the beach and then claiming beds 3-4 hrs later. All this aside, we'd still come again
Spent two weeks enjoying this really good hotel. Brilliant location, lovely pool area excellent food, drink and entertainment. Before I arrived I read some reviews that concerned me however, had a good experience
Having read such a lot of negative reviews i can honestly say that they must be very choosey people has we had a great time the food was of a very high standard and catered for everyone Will be returning next year
26 Thanks to Director Christian and all of his well polished team. 2 years on since staying here and standards have maintained high. Anyone who complains about the food would complain about anything
The beach is huge, sandy and very clean with sunbeds available and a nice little beach bar. It's a smallish hotel which felt quite intimate and meant it was never far to go back to the room for anything
Yes the hotel could do will a little up dating but my room was very clean with great beds and nice bathroom. Public area also more than satisfactory. I will be booking again for next year
