The mattresses were terribly bad, we sank into them. Food was overall ok but not a single decent piece of meat, not even a chicken was edible. Chewy and yuk. Prawns were good, deserts were good. Our week at the hotel was really nice. Of course because of the weather, but mostly because of the staff. Particularly the 2 men at the snackbar by the pool. The sound isolation was super bad and I could even hear the click sound of next door playing Duolingo. It was also easy to hear them talk although their voice wasn’t high. The Robinson Club is nice, but unfortunately, the watersports offerings have deteriorated. The head of the base is unfriendly and lazy. Ultimately, his focus is on preserving his equipment and selling courses to the guests. We liked the size of the hotel and room, the overall cleanliness, the pools were nice and clean too, beach access was handy, courtesy room facility, friendly and polyglot staff. Visited in September 2022 as well as this year. It is not often that returning somewhere actually gives a better impression than what you remember, but this was certainly true here. Lovely hotel and staff are amazing especially Jessica the guest relations manager and we had an amazing receptionist & bell boy who greeted us on Sunday 18th. Id highly recommend the hotel for a relaxed family break.

We really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. Friendly staff, especially Pablo & Alina (Animateurs), amazing selection of food and excellent & various evening entertainment. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. Great children entertainment.

I am really amazed about this hotel and I am really glad I went there. Espacially Nano made our vacations the best ever. The staff was great and helped where ever they could. The biggest reason of coming back is Nano and we really miss him and the time he played with us. Great time.

Just back from a fabulous week, everything about this place was lovely especially the food, so much so I had to buy some elsticated waist trousers! We are in the process of booking for next year the peace and quiet were just what the doctor ordered, if you like to party this really isn’t the place for you, if you like good food, relaxation and Bombay Sapphire this is the place for you 😊

The Occidental jandia playa is very very dated. Needs lots of investment. We stayed in the Royal Level. The room number was 109. It was very dated. The corridor outside was the noisiest I have ver experienced in a hotel. It was long and the floor tiled. So when the staff were pushing their trollies along at 7 am it sounded like thunder! Just got back from Royal Level. We checked in online using Barceó app which made it teally quick and easy on arrival. Booked deluxe suite with sea view. It was amazing large room with lots of space for clothes. Bathroom was brilliant with shower and whirlpool bath. Room was cleaned daily unless we said not to. Mini bar topped up daily. This is our 8th year of coming to this hotel in October. We stayed in the Royal Level which is the adults only section of the hotel. In reception we were initially given room 156, however this room is much smaller than all the others and to be given this room was surprising as we told the receptionist how many times we had visited. Enjoyed our stay, close to the beach. Only downside is no indoor area to sit at night, just bar outside. Staff lovely. Loved feeding the chipmunks.

Amazing location. 2 mins from an amazing beach. Super friendly staff. Rooms are basic but in line with what you pay. Clean and tidy. Food was basic but full of freshly cooked meat and fish. My concerns from previous reviews was completely unfounded. Blue Sea Jandia is a gem. We arrived to a warm welcome, water and poolside nibbles at 4pm. Our apartment was exactly as requested and not located on ground floor level. Although agreeing that the furniture is a bit dated it was comfortable and spotlessly clean.
