Occidental Jandía Mar in Morro del Jable

We spent one week at Occidental Jandía Mar on an all-inclusive basis, and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The food selection was varied every day, with plenty of options to choose from, so it was easy to find something different at each meal. The all-inclusive package was absolutely worth it and made the holiday very comfortable and stress-free. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and always helpful. From the restaurant team to reception and housekeeping, everyone contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was clean throughout, including the rooms and common areas, which we really appreciated. Although the hotel is not located directly on the beachfront, the ocean-view rooms offer a truly stunning panoramic view. Waking up to that Atlantic scenery every morning was one of the highlights of our stay. In terms of value for money, this hotel is absolutely worth it. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Jandía area.

Great entertainment with AMAZING animation team, great at getting everyone involved and magical. Dress up at night time, and good pool. Really bad location, to get to the beach it’s a long long walk downhill and awful walk up the hill. It’s a very pretty beach but we only went two times because of the awful location. The atmosphere is great with good music and entertainment, fun at night time and so great to make friends. The whole hotel is clean and the food was amazing. The rooms were okay, nothing special but clean. Great great value for money. At night there was a live wire left in the kids pool we were worried about, it’s a great family vibe would recommend . The resturant staff were also lovely

Our week at the hotel was really nice. Of course because of the weather, but mostly because of the staff. Particularly the 2 men at the snackbar by the pool. The one that cooks everything at the snackbar is Mamadou, he greets you every day with a smile and is very kind. I don’t know the name of the other guy, but he was also so lovely everyday. They definitely made our experience better.

We were a party of 6 and a little worried when we read the reviews on here. However, we needn't have worried. The hotel staff are super friendly, the food at the restaurant is excellent - a huge variety and flavoursome. There is a snack bar for those who prefer nuggets and hot dogs. The rooms are spacious and clean. Plenty of activities and a good atmosphere by the pool. Sunbeds always available. And great evening entertainment. Something for everyone. :)

We had such an amazing experience taking all of our children abroad for the first time. The hotel is set with stunning views, mountainous on one side and sea views on the opposite side. It is well maintained. The interconnecting rooms gave us plenty of space for our children to be free but have space for us to decompress too. The hotel was well maintained throughout and the housekeeping took great pride in looking after our rooms during the stay. The staff throughout were lovely and made our stay so welcoming. Angel in the kitchen was so endearing and made our stay so much better. He was amazing with our children and we’ve made a lovely friend in him, he went above and beyond. All of the restaurant staff were lovely and really kind, they all worked so hard but we were always greeted with kindness and smiles. The splash park was just incredible, our children couldn’t be pulled away from it! This was the best feature for a family with small children, the lifeguards made it feel so safe and secure by being active and engaging, calling out any rough play or unsafe actions immediately. All whilst being friendly and polite. Marta who was serving on the food van at the splash park was so lovely, she was great with our children and spent our stay helping me perfect my Spanish. Again another hard working member of staff who made our stay special. The food options were consistently good, there was constantly so much to do and be involved in but we defaulted to splash park on request of our children, but we were okay with that because there was plenty of relaxing space to chill out for adults. The distance to the beach is amazing, a 5 minute walk. My only small criticism would be the sea view was not as expected as it wasn’t sea facing…could I see the sea if I looked left? Yes…therefore not a big deal but would’ve preferred to look out to sea. It wasn’t rainy England so it wasn’t a big deal and the view across the beautiful hotel grounds was better than seeing Dave across the road putting his bins out! The bed was a bit uncomfortable my husband struggled with that but he also suffers with health issues so it could’ve been the bed..or his issues? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve booked it again for next year! Thank you so much for such a lovely holiday!
