Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf - All Inclusive in Morro del Jable

Just returned home from the holiday with my 2 kids. The location is lovely, hotel looks decent from the outside and we hoped it would be as expected for 4* hotel level but we got very disappointed!!! On arrival, we were told our room isn't ready yet and we can go to eat first, then we can get the room. We arrived 2.45 and room supposed to be ready at 3 o'clock. We came back after having some food at 3.20 to be told our room isn't ready and were told to wait. We waited another 15 minutes and my kids were very tired so I asked if we can get a room ASAP. We were told that our room isn't ready but she can offer different one for us. We got into room to find it filthy and I refused to stay there. The receptionist was very rude and spoke Spanish to her colleagues about me in front of me. Little did she know, that I understand Spanish. She was speaking about me in a disrespectful manner. Gave me keys to our original room at now nearly 4 o'clock and room was absolutely filthy. Upon my complaint, receptionist said it's all same and I won't get anything better so to suck it up. I asked for my room to be cleaned properly. It wasn't. And I complained to tui on our first day and since receptionists were made aware of this, they were even more nasty. Made me wait for the beach transfer over an hour, letting other guests go in front, despite me booking it for 11, I got the taxi at 12.10! When I asked for someone to bring blanket, I waited 2 days for it... When I needed shower gel or towels, again waiting for ages. Hardly anyone came to our room to take trash or change towels. Very poor hotel hygiene wise. Flies all over the pool due to spillages that nobody cleans. Broken glass by the pool was left for 2 days. My son nearly cut his foot, we told staff but nobody cleaned until next day. Food very average and every day the same thing over and over. Fair enough if it would be tasty... It wasn't! Staff in restaurant very rude as well with a few exceptions. Maria was lovely, she was working at the bar and reception and was friendly and polite and 2 other bar staff were nice but didn't get their names. I never complain about things, but I work my butt off to be able to go away for a well deserved break and this break gave me so much stress, I'm actually glad to be home. The ONLY POSITIVES were the lovely entertainment staff!!! A special thank you to Alessandro, Ruby, Elena and Juliett for making our stay at least a bit more enjoyable, you guys went above and beyond with what you've had to make it better for us, I'm grateful. Alessandro is a super cool guy who's great at making kids happy and made the best cocktail masterclass for adults, i really enjoyed that, and thank you for pulling me to dance 😘💃 Elena was an absolute star dancer and made me want to dance even more, her moves were fire!!! We are currently staying at Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf and have been here for 10 days so far as a family, with a few days still to go. There are definitely some positives—the entertainment team are really good and make a big effort every day and evening, which has been great for both adults and kids. The pools are also nice and a good size, and the drinks are what you’d expect from an all-inclusive. The location is fairly convenient too, with around a 10-minute taxi to the beach and main town. However, there are also a few areas that have been disappointing. Our beds haven’t been changed at all during the 10 days we’ve been here so far, which isn’t what we expected. The food is okay but quite repetitive and gets boring after a few days. There are no parasols around the pool, which makes it difficult to find shade. Cleanliness in general could be improved, and we’ve found some of the restaurant staff to be quite rude at times. Overall, we are still enjoying parts of the holiday, but there are definitely some improvements that could make a big difference to the experience.

We stayed at this hotel mid October for a week as a family of 4 - 2 adults, a 13 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. We were in block 1 on the 3rd floor, our balcony was just a bit further along from the car park, therefore lovely and peaceful! Room - we were given a family room which was not one of the refurbished rooms but was amazing! Very spacious- a kitchenette, dining table, large bathroom, sofa bed and a separate bedroom (very spacious) with two single beds pushed together, a double wardrobe with hangers and shelves and a large vanity table. The sofa bed was only supplied with two sheets to cover yourself when sleeping instead of a duvet, would have been nice to have the option. We asked for a duvet but they gave us another 2 sheets! Both the living room area and bedroom had a balcony coming off it. The living area had a huge smart TV with Netflix and YouTube on it if that was something you were interested in. The shower was a waterfall shower with great pressure. There was a housekeeping service every day apart from one, but wouldn't say the service was that great. Floor not swept well, don't think the bedding had been changed at all, toilet roll not replenished (so left with none!) There is a free safe in the room too! Air con worked well. WiFi was quite intermittent in our room. Food - the dining area, bar one occasion, had seating available indoors when we were there. You could sit inside or outside. Lots of people commenting on it being like a canteen - I'm going to be honest and say it was no different to any other all inclusive dining area I've been to! The food was typical of an all inclusive hotel, was hot and replenished quickly. Sometimes the tables needed wiped a bit quicker than they were. The snack bar served burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings. We didn't really enjoy the food options available at lunch time so tended to eat from the snack bar for lunch. There was only one person serving drinks at the snack bar so it was quite slow. Pools - they were really good. There is a toddler/children's pool with secure gates around it and two slides. This pool, considering it was a pool for children, was very cold. There is a pool up the top where the slides are which appeared to be heated - not sure if it was or not! Once you got your midriff in the water () was lovely and certainly not cold but cool enough to cool you down in the heat. The third pool was very cold at the start of the holiday but ended up being the pool we sat at towards the end as warmed up. The pool at the bottom was sloped so shallow enough for little children to play at the front and deeper at the back. All pools are salt water apart from toddler pool which was freshwater. Pool opened at 10am and there was never a rush for getting a sunbed. You got free pool towels which could be changed twice a week. Very few parasols which was a shame as it got very hot around midday. Games room - there is one on site with pool table, subuteo table, racing game, air
