Third visit to puerto rico, first visit to morassol suites. The location is great, situated by the harbour with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The hotel itself is one of the cleanest I have stayed in, the rooms cleaned daily and towels changed too. We had breakfast where there was quite a choice of hot and cold foods, this changed regular. There were no fighting for sunbeds and the roof terrace was a great bonus with cushioned sunbeds and hot tub, would highly recommend and will stay again if visiting puerto rico.

Today us our last day here. The hotel is so lovely. Staff very helpful from reception dining room staff and cleaner all smiles and good morning. Sheets changed 3 times since we been here [ only 7 days]. Towels changed every day. Breakfast very good. Location is just right all on flat. Very good value for money. All in all a great holiday. Will definitely be back.

This is our 3rd year at Morosol suites , we obviously love it . Self catering with the benefits of local restaurants on a flat walk . The suites themselves are well appointed and are cleaned daily . There is ample room to sunbathe either by the pool or on the terrace . Most rooms overlook the marina towards the sea . The staff are amazing, the same at reception, pool bar and housekeeping over the last 3 years and most likely more . This year we have a balcony that is partially shaded due to the shape of the building. We have asked to be relocated when possible. I’m confident our request will be met . This place has the friendliest of atmospheres and we look forward to returning next year .

Replay to Morasol Suites (S9476RBkristinas,,) Thank you for your replay. Already our first day we contacted the reception concerning the air-condition. You send technicians several times to fix it but they didn’t manage to fix it. We suggested already day two that we wanted to change room but the answer was, “its full booked but you will be put on a waiting list”. We didn’t hear anything. A few days later when we discovered that the toilet was leaking and the floor was full of water also under the floor board, we again suggested to change room. The answer we got from the person in the reception was that he would bring this up with the manger and come back to us. We didn’t here anything more and realized that we wouldn’t be able to change the room, which meant that we had to stay in the room without air-condition and water in the floor and smell of mold. You say that you take our comments seriously, but we know that right after we left you still rent out the same room that we had. And also, you didn’t propose any solution, it was us who proposed the change of room.

This was our return visit to The Morasol Suites, having visited 3 years ago. We enjoy Puerto Rico in January and stayed in an All Inclusive hotel and another self catering apartment complex in the middle intervening years, both good quality. The advantage of The Morasol is that it is located at ground level next to the marina. Most properties in Puerto Rico are located in elevated positions which require steep walks to and from them. We really enjoyed our stay this year and have already booked to go back next year. The apartment rooms are of a good size for a couple and the facilities are excellent. We found the bed to be very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily spotlessly. Cleanliness around the hotel is excellent. The availability of sun beds is very good and there’s plenty of space around the pool and on the roof terrace, which was our preference. The staff are very peasant and helpful.

From the minute I booked here for my husband's 70th birthday, the staff helped to keep it a surprise for my husband that 2 of our sons were also staying here and nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment was so lovely with a perfect view of the marina. The breakfast was excellent as was the food from the poolside snack bar. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard. All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We had an amazing time here and will definitely go back. 10/10 from us

We recently stayed for the 7th possibly 8th time at The Morasol Suites. We were upgraded to the select area again (thank you). As always, we had a lovely stay, apartment clean and comfortable, bathroom cleaned and bed made every day. We did have a little issue with a couple of cockroaches, once reported we never saw anymore and have never had any issues in the past. (We do need to remember we are in warmer climates) No sunbed wars and pool lovely and refreshing in the hot weather. My only tip would be that there could be a make-up mirror in the bedroom. There have always been improvements year on year. Already booked our 8th stay for 2026.

Firstly do not take any notice of the AI-generated review about the Morasol Suites, it's totally inaccurate. They are situated in the far corner of the marina of Puerto Rico. They have a 4* rating which I personally do not think holds up. Whatever do don't book a Studio apartment as it's very small and cramped. The facilities are good but the cleaning service for us has not been what you would expect. We have been here for 8 days now, have a bad cut to my leg which bled on the 2nd night. There has been no attempt to change the bedding. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned better because on returning from a day out you could see very little if anything had been done. The hotel is very quiet, there is no bar after 4.30pm and no entertainment. Breakfast has little change to it, and hot food is laid out there from 08.00 to 10.30 and is at best warm. There is no half or full board here. The pool is excellent and pool towels can be changed daily at no charge. There is chilled water on tap in the reception area where you can top up for free. The staff are extremely helpful and are excellent. Most guests are Scandinavian between October and April. I would say the Morasol is more geared up for them overall. If you like entertainment a bar where you can chat and enjoy your holiday then this is not the hotel for you, but if you want a quiet basic holiday then it may be what you're looking for. Other things we note are that the beds are very hard and the comfort level overall in the hotel isn't great.

Dined at El Vendor tonight. Walked in and we we were immediately given a table outside as requested. Waiters friendly and offered great service. They were more than happy to take a family photo. Food was really good.The warm bread was really delicious and the house red was suprisingly good. We ordered salads, they were huge with healthy fresh ingredients. We loved the small touches such as the potatoes at the start and the shot of honey rum at the end. A good choice for dinner.

Paid an extortionate price for a new year meal that was a cringeworthy disappointment. A starter of Cream of asparagus soup tasted like it was straight out of a tin, the fillet of unidentifiable fish was cooked from frozen and then disguised with a nasty sauce and the profiteroles ‘surprise’ was four sad profiteroles on a saucer drizzled in squirty chocolate. For this lacklustre, depressing food we paid £80 each which we had to pay up front. We got into the spirit of the evening and just had to laugh at how bad everything was.
