I have recently returned from a last minute, end of the season trip to the Tacande. The hotel was due to close at the end of October. I would like to say, that other hotels that I have stayed in, when they are bearing the end of the season. Do not always give the same level of customer service. Had a fantastic stay here. Staff super lovely, Gold rooms were luxurious, and the pools/loungers/bali beds were amazing! Buffet breakfast was also good. Location is perfect. Easy taxi from the airport and you have your own, almost private, beach at the end of the road with loungers and a good drinks shack servicing it. Would definitely stay again!

I didn’t have high expectations but the hotel was surprisingly good. Wasn’t sure why Google review is kinda low. The hotel is in a quiet street, only 3-5 mins walk to a small beach. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The size of the room and up keep of the grounds was great. Breakfast was filled with a nice selection of foods and freshly made omelettes, pancakes, fried and poached eggs. The staff were nothing but helpful and friendly, especially Jamier at the pool bar. Me and my partner visited this hotel for 10 days, We loved our trip the reception staff are so friendly & welcoming especially Didac & Antonella, they were both so helpful & told us the best spots to go & we would love to come back just to talk to them! The rooms are spacious & have everything you need. Breakfast has a good variety & the location is perfect lots to see & do.

Average hotel in a nice place, good service, average breakfast and dinner (not too much variety), nice but small swimming pools, but there is a wonderful small beach very close. Dunno bout the spa, as it was closed. All in all, an average experience, but I was expecting something a bit better.

Initially the room we had was right next to the elevator and made a dreadful noise. We asked and we're moved to a better room. Staff were mostly friendly. Facilities good, if a little dated and in need of a touch up and few repairs, Inc the on site Spa. Disappointed we couldn't get a time for a massage.

Great photography gives the impression of a more modern hotel, which this really isn’t. Just returned from a great week in this lovely hotel. Had a room on the 4th floor with a view to the sea from the balcony. Room fairly small but nice and modern and very clean. Visiting family on the island during off season.  The Lindner is open year round and a good alternative to the Hilton, where I Usually stay due to status. My stay at The Donna Portals var really good. I got a nice upgrade on arrival, rooms clean and neat. Service was outstanding with being driven to the padel courts or to the harbour free of charge. On the points to improve, the room had a bit of a smell from the shower sewage, and the walls are thin so you hear when the doors to nearby room closes with quite a bang. Otherwise all very good!

It's good in all aspects, but it's not directly on the coast and there are no beaches. If you want to experience the island atmosphere, staying in the city center would be more convenient.

Top notch service all around. Absolutely loving our time here. After a couple of days, you really start to get to know the staff, and everyone has been superb. The hotel was clean and generally well-maintained, but service could be improved. Towels and toilet paper weren’t restocked regularly, and on our last day the air conditioning stopped working.
