Resort Camping Almafra in Benidorm

We stayed here for a few days as a family. We won't be coming back; we actually returned for the entertainment, but that’s the exact reason we’re leaving for good. While the shows were okay, the overall quality of the entertainment has gone downhill. Juan Carlos was great with my daughter during our summer and Halloween visits—a true professional. As for the food, it’s acceptable, but the quality has definitely dropped. We'll be looking for a different destination for our next

Site is overcrowded. Queuing to reserve sunbeds at 10am. Pool shut several times during stay due to someone pooing in it. Kids charging around on electric scooters and disability machines. Lines put up between trees. Children in the indoor pool causing problems. Phone lines not answered. Email messages not responded to…I could go on!

I read some reviews & decided to back up what others said. We stayed this year, we booked a Static Caravan that was a 4 berth when I booked it asked on the form how many people staying I could not enter a number, 1 seemed to be the default ( I realised later it was a drop down box my mistake ) I did not worry to much as I had stated in my booking request e-mail that there was 2 of us only.When we came to check in they said you've made a mistake and it would cost £30 to check in an extra person, I objected but was told you either cancel and pay £100 to rebook or pay the £30. I asked to speak to a manager to explain why if I booked for 4, they would have to check in 4 people so why is it extra work to book in a second person. I was told the Rental manager isn't here I asked if I could phone him. " No they said email them" ok who do I email and give me there email they said it's not like that fill in an enquiry form. I did this, still haven't received a reply. We liked the campsite but this left a nasty taste our treatment by the management. So nice campsite poor management.

I would rate my experience 3/5 u can’t fault it it’s a very nice camp site but there is its ups and downs u see very morning about 7:30 we had this big dump truck going past us very load and some mornings we have this bloke come down the road with a bin attached against his car which really loud Which was horrible waking up to I would give 4/5 out of the staff the bar staff and cleaners are fantastic but the main manager he is a right knobe I definitely does not like the English I will definitely not be coming back here any time soon PLUS we had a lot of ants in our beds and all over the floor so make sure to check the bed before u go to sleep
