Hotels in Altea

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cap Negret. The room was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day — everything stayed clean, tidy, and well maintained, with fresh towels regularly replaced. The food was honestly beyond expectations. Three meals a day with huge variety — meat, fish, vegetarian options, fresh salads, and a very generous dessert selection...

We have just arrived home from a ten day stay at this lovely hotel. We had a very nice room overlooking the town with a side sea view. The room was kept immaculately clean during our stay. Our view also took in the car park, and we were delighted that our stay coincided with that of a classic car group, featuring original Minis, approx 50 in total! In the hotel also were many, many international...

Beautiful hotel with lovely clean rooms. We enjoyed sauna facilities, Yuriii was very helpful and friendly. great location for train station if you want to venture out as there isn't a great deal around and not much open at this time of year (February) Disappointed with the massage deal as we all booked massage. I went to see lady asking for prices, deal was 45 euros and the use of spa. When I had...

Everything was without any problems, the room was clean and comfortable. Great food and a pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. I really appreciate the helpful approach of the staff. Especially Anna, she helped me solve a lot of things and was always very nice

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel from 1st - 5th February and it was exceptional. All staff are super friendly and attentive going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The rooms and public areas are spotless and the smell is divine. You will definitely have an incredible experience here. Highly recommend.

Stayed here with wife in Feb. All I can say is this place is amazing. I have stayed all over the world and travel a lot. This may be best experience I have had from a customer service point of view. Paloma was so kind to us from arrival to departure as were all of the staff. Rooms were lovely in my opinion. I would highly recommend this place

We just had lunch here and didn't stay in the hotel although it looks fabulous inside. We sat on the front patio beneath a parasol and food was nice, staff lovely. But there is a tiny traffic island nearby and steep hill, and the Vespa Scooter noise and smell of exhaust was too much for me. It might be ok in the evening.

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay! This hotel is stunning, every feature is so thoughtfully presented. Maria on reception was extremely smiley and helpful. We were treated to a free upgrade and our room was beautiful, lovely furnishings, cool radio speakers and the bathroom was spectacular! We had a huge bath tub with natural bath salts. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and it was...

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Due to it being an old building it does however bring with it both good and not so good aspects. On the positive it’s a beautiful hotel with a laid back vibe to it. However the sound proofing is no existent, fair enough to the outside noice of a town but the internal noise from the kitchen up to the first floor is very disappointing indeed. No turndown service...

Wow what a lovely hotel. So cute and relaxing. The staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Perfect for exploring the lovely town of Altea. I would definitely love to return. Thank you xx

Beyond perfect, Victoria is a true asset who goes above and beyond. We couldn't have expected any more

Beautifully restored house into a hotel. Rooms were fab, great base! Also has a lovely terrace with seating to meet friends before dinner. No restaurant, bar or breakfast but that was fine by us! We will stay again!

Great hotel as a base - beautifully restored. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Nice friendly staff, room exceptionally clean & had everything we needed. Great location for both the old town & the sea front.

My husband and l have just had a fabulous 2 night stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything about it was fabulous, from the welcome drinks and check in in the terrace, to the chocolates on the bed. Fantastic room with everything we needed. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, Sarah and Antonella were so lovely. Our first time in Altea, such a magical place and the hotel brings a special magic of...

We stayed 3 nights in February. The hotel is in a great location , quiet but close to everything. The staff really make the difference here , kind , helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a super selection which catered very well for one of us who is vegan. We would definitely stay here again.

Abaco is a boutique hotel, very conveniently located right in the middle of old town and sea front in the beautiful city of Altea. I will write another review for Altea separately. My husband and I had a three day stay at Abaco. Parking garage is available at 18 Euros per day. We didn’t think our car would fit the entrance of the garage so we parked at a parking lot nearby which was safe, free and...

Great location with fine views, breakfast. Complementary room upgrade and very pleasant staff.

2nd visit but won’t be the last everything was superb, staff were exceptional . Breakfast was delicious and the setting outside was beautiful even the music that was played in the background was in fitting with the whole atmosphere.

Traditional old school hotel located close to the heart of Altea .Do not be put off by the run down approach to the hotel. As a family with a disabled son we were greeted by warm friendly staff . Every member of the hotel staff were particularly caring and went over and above to make us feel comfortable. Large spacious accessible room on the first floor , but the lift access was a little tight, just...

Absolutely beautiful hotel this is the second time we have stayed here. Staf so friendly can bot do enough for you. Excellent position within walking distance of the square. Rooms very spacious and clean highly recommend this hotel so relaxing

Great Hotel super friendly staff highly recommended.

Loved the hotel. Very old world classy. The staff were very friendly and keen to talk about the hotel and Altea. It seemed that they had been there for a while and loved the hotel and cared for it. English was good as we're the rooms. Very clean and beautiful pool area.

Truly lives up to the name, paradise indeed. Tucked away above Altea Old Town, so peaceful and quiet. Feels like being in Thailand, with beautiful gardens, plants, pool and banana trees full of fruit. Honesty bar, very well stocked and plenty of ice. Lovely fresh breakfast with amazing cakes made by Aranza who is a key part of running this small privately run hotel. Walkable, if you are quite fit,...

A true paradise 😍we loved it. Our room overlooking the pool was beautiful. The whole property is stunning. This hotel was recommended to us by one of our friends. So I am spreading the word too, highly recommended. Breakfast is superb, . STUNNING little paradise, we will be back. Very nice and friendly owners.

Beautiful and well located hotel. We had a relaxing and great stay. Staff is sweet and very polite. They have a wonderful outdoor space with pool and long chairs to enjoy the sun and have a drink. We stayed on the second floor, in room 05. The room is spacious, gorgeous and was spotless. The amenities are great, mini bar is generous on beverage selection, smart tv working perfectly and excellent...

We much enjoyed our stay in this charming boutique hotel which is very well placed for visiting the sights of this lovely old town. Our room - an Urban Independent - was spacious and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. For us a major plus was the delightful terrace and pool with chairs and sunloungers where we could relax after sightseeing. Happily no competition for these! The...

We spent two nights at the hotel and celebrated our wedding dinner at the L’Etiquette restaurant inside the hotel. From the very first visit for information, through the communication during the organisation, to the stay and the dinner itself – the whole experience was amazing. Julie was wonderful to communicate with while planning – thank you! Aranzazu made our stay and dinner extra special with...

La Serena - beautiful hotel with amazing staff Excellent breakfast after a very comfortable night’s sleep. A wonderful boutique hotel in a perfect location. The staff were amazing. Everything about this hotel was just what we needed.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing! The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were so accommodating! Great location and loved the stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms were great, modern and tastefully decorated. Nice location with great views. Close to lots of places to shop and eat. What made the stay perfect was really the staff. Cecile & María J were just great, offered advice and helped with a clothing emergency! Would definitely come back and stay here again!!

Perfect budget hotel! Right attached to tram station, one block from seafront Comfortable beds Great staff! Spotless, will stay here again for sure!

Absolutely Perfect! 3 steps from the tram, 2 small blocks from the playa Very quiet rooms with room darkening drapes! Wonderful shower with overhead rain spout, tons of hot water! Wonderful quality towels! Will return anytime! Thank you!

Lovely stay . Staff were polite n helpful.

Thank you for a lovely stay.We stayed here for one week and had a fantastic stay at this cute hotel. The room was spotless , as same the hotell.Close to the beach and the old town.

Friendly woman checking in and out. Close proximity to all.

Lovely boutique hotel close to tram stop. Very convenient to the old town and to the beachside cafes.

Beautiful place , clean with a sumptuous balcony. We loved it.

Clean room, great location, great price. A bit dated but for my needs it was perfect.

A very basic but clean hotel directly on the sea. Easy walking to the sea, restaurants, shopping, and the old Town, along with the tram station and the bus stops. The hotel is inside a restaurant and the restaurant looked popular. The photo is the view from room 102.

This beautiful beachfront hotel and restaurant offers spectacular views that are sure to take your breath away. The hotel rooms are minimalist with tasteful traditional touches, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

This is an old school hotel on the seafront with a good and busy dining room. We had lunch and it was very good. Traditional Spanish, not a place for tourists, you get good properly cooked local food. Sunday paella is special but the food every day is just really good. Inside the ambiance is what you would hope for and the service is comradely and efficient. For sure I will come again it is good. I...

Nice hotel above a busy restaurant, basic but very comfortable room (1st floor with balcony and sea view) on the beach front. Good location for tourists, a short walk to the town centre etc. The bar in the restaurant is reasonably priced, with friendly helpful staff. Would recommend a stay here.

I had an excellent stay at the hostel. The staff were very helpful in advance of my trip - to accommodate me arriving very late. They were always happy to help. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location could not have been better - right beside the beautiful shops and restaurants of the Old Town. I'm already looking forward to returning!
