For me, it was fantastic. I don't know why people complain so much. I liked it so much that I stayed one night and immediately booked another. The reception was great, the staff were super friendly, professional, and polite. The facilities are renovated and very nice; it's modern, with a café and lounge to relax in. The room was very clean, the shower was very spacious and pleasant, the mattresses were comfortable, and there were two pillows each, which I haven't seen anywhere else. The bedding was new and warm, the heating worked perfectly, and there was a new TV with satellite. There was a balcony, and I loved that there was a capsule coffee machine. They provide bottled water, tea, chamomile, and coffee capsules. There's a refrigerator, but it could use a bit more wardrobe space. There's a safe. The only things missing are decent bedside tables and the few electrical outlets that are available being closer to the bed. Also, in the bathroom, the outlet for the hairdryer should be next to the mirror. They've put them next to the toilet. That's the only downside. But I loved it and I'll be back. Thank you for the experience and for being so kind and attentive.

The hotel is well located if you want to enjoy the beach; however, the cleanliness and service from the staff are terrible. The cleaning lady is very rude, making comments like, "I'm not mopping anymore because people keep coming in," even though just minutes before she was asked where we could walk or if we could wait for the floor to dry.

On the other hand, the room in general wasn't clean. The light switches were covered in gunk, the terrace is very different from what's shown in the photos, there were open water bottles left by previous guests, it wasn't even swept, and the views were terrible and dark. As for the bathroom, the trash can was broken, the sink faucet was filthy, and the shower screen was even worse. The room has a large bed, however, they didn't provide any blankets, and when we asked for them, they gave us dirty ones that smelled awful.

We chose the breakfast buffet option. It's a shame I didn't take a picture of the €15 buffet to post here and make them blush. Three slices of Bimbo bread. A tray with two mini croissants and a tray of cold cuts that smelled of everything but fresh. When we asked if there were eggs, scrambled eggs, anything cooked… they told us there was no cook. We went out for breakfast, and the receptionist, embarrassed even he was, told me to request a refund. I did, and surprise, surprise, according to them, the breakfast buffet was there, and if I didn't take it, it was because I didn't want it. Luckily, €30 more isn't going to get me out of the house, but I'd be ashamed to be responsible for such a disastrous hotel and to allow such a rip-off. I should have read the reviews before booking through Booking.com.
I don't need to mention the rest of the calamities; there are already a thousand reviews explaining the "virtues" of this amazing hotel.

I really liked the experience. Comfortable mattresses. Cozy room. Just one minor issue: the toilet in the double room released very little water and took more than 10 minutes to flush. I suppose it's due to the water saving factor, which is nice, but it's not enough for regular use. Otherwise, everything was great.

Moon Dreams Hotel Review

Our experience at this hotel was very negative. The only positive thing was the location, as it's close to the beach. However, the facilities and services left much to be desired.
The price we paid for three days was very high compared to the conditions we found. The shower didn't work properly: the water barely came out, had no stop, and overflowed, flooding the bathroom. Cleanliness was conspicuous by its absence.
The booking platform advertised amenities such as a hairdryer, radio, telephone, towels, and more, but upon arrival, none of them were available. The telephone was there, but it didn't work; the shower gels were clearly refilled with water; there was no hairdryer or radio; and no power outlets near the bed. Furthermore, the soundproofing is nonexistent: you can hear absolutely everything.
Honestly, the value for money is terrible, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

It's currently under renovation, and everything is being renovated, but it didn't affect our stay at all. The location is great, just two blocks from the busiest restaurant area, very close to the beach, and also close to the access to the start of the hike up to the castle. The room was very cool, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The facilities are very old, but it's a great place to sleep and shower. We were out and about all day, and that's exactly what we needed. The only downside was the bed; I found it very uncomfortable.
