A charming 3star hotel that offers a 5 star service. The rooms are spotless, the food is very good but the staff and service are excellent. The proximity to the beach is perfect just cross the road. Lovely shops around as well definitely worth a visit if you need to travel on a budget

The receptionist was initially evasive and unhelpful when asked for advice on parking. But I persisted with questions, & she offered more information and it turned out that she knew more than she had let on. We stay here every time we're in Palamos, quaint hotel in a great location with a fantastic restaurant and lovely team. Lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, lovely beach opposite the hotel with beautiful still water. Great place to relax

The hotel room was beautiful, very large and comfortable, with a nice view to the sea. And the building is old nicely renovated and very well kept. The location is excellent!

A really nice hotel. Friendly staff, an excellent breakfast and our room was very large and exceptionally warm for the winter. The setting is nice, if quite stark.

Great boutique hotel Amazing hotel, beautifully decorated and well positioned. Hotel team made us feel very welcomed. Very good size pool and other amenities. Please ensure adequate staffing levels in the restaurant as only one server during bank holidays is deemed to cause delays. He did great though!

Amazing room, great for a romantic gateway! This is probably the most beautiful room and chic hotel that I have ever experienced. Amazing room, great for a romantic stay. Breakfast was also delicious with local touches and the staff very friendly and attentive. Love all Costa Brava, specially in the off season so we will definitely come back.

La Malcontenta was the cutest hotel I have ever seen. It had old world charm in spades.

We stayed here for four nights in the bay of La Fosca, just around the corner from Palamós. The hotel itself is a little dated, and the rooms can be quite noisy — we could clearly hear the TV from one side and bath activity from the other. That said, breakfast was absolutely spectacular: a huge spread with every kind of breakfast food you could imagine, and plenty of it. The pool and the garden area...

Great location, 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are sparse and there is no AC (which is a deal breaker for the peak of summer), but you can cool off in the pool or the patio. Free parking is a great benefit. A solid 3 star hotel that is family owned. Excellent overall experience, despite minor drawbacks.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant were quite good. Our room had a nice balcony with a distant view of the Med. (the property is not right on the water). The room decor is a bit dated, but super clean, and a very good deal for the reasonable price. We didn't find a lot of things to do in the town of La Fosca, but that's not the fault of the hotel...

A basic slightly dated hotel that really delivers on service and quality of food. We stayed here only one night but were really impressed by the helpfulness and friendly hotel staff, and the dinner and breakfast we were served. It’s a 3* hotel but the service and food is 5*. A comfortable hotel situated three streets back from the beach. The staff were very friendly and they provide free towels for the beach and for their small outdoor pool. We didn't have much of a view from our balcony but this was more than made up for by the incredible spread at breakfast - it was fantastic and delicious.

This is a family run hotel with an excellent restaurant and attentive service . A reasonable priced wine list and delicious menu of the day proved to be excellent value . Breakfast dishes were top quality and the room was clean and comfortable. A pity the tennis court is in such poor condition.

Great stay, only small problem: we had a room overlooking the main avenue and it was very noisy because the windows were not double-glazed. Great breakfast buffet and very well-located hotel with great amenities.

The location was excellent, the room was small but comfortable. Minimal renovations were needed.

The service was good and all were very friendly. The location is very good. Most of the nearby attractions can be reached within 20 minutes by car. The room is also very clean. Parking is very convenient. There are blue lines or parking lots nearby for affordable parking.

The walls are very thin, you can hear everything, the only complaint.

Air conditioning could be better in the triple room and a 2nd bin and a kettle for the room would be nice, but other than that our stay was fabulous! Excellent bus network to nearby towns was a huge bonus. The staff were so lovely throughout the stay. Sangria was especially delicious as was our dinner at the restaurant 😋

We stayed at Hotel Sant Joan during our drive to Elche and had an amazing night of sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Perfect spot to rest and recharge before continuing the journey. Would definitely stay again if we’re passing through!

Me and my wife had the most wonderful 6 day stay at this hotel. Really nice room and lovely features in the hotel and gardens. Very relaxing! Staff really nice as well! :) We had one meal at the restaurant which was superb. We hope to be able to come back here in the future :-)

The place was great! We arrived a bit late but notified them and they were very understanding. The people running the place are super friendly, all of them. The room was spacious, with a nice shower/bathtub, very comfy bed, big wardrobe with a safe inside, a mini fridge (super convenient for hot summer days) and the mojitos they prepare are amazing. Very good quality for the price. Excellent menu choice with 3 small gastronomic starters, a main typical dish and dessert. Interesting wines selection. Nice building from s. XVIII. Highly advisable in you are in the area.

We had a fantastic 2 days staying here. The location and views are just breathtaking. Finca Bell Lloc offers a great day for spending the morning doing some incredibly scenic hikes, right from the hotel, and then back in time for enjoying some great wine and food in the afternoon on the terrace. The country house Bell Lloc is a hidden gem very close to the beautiful Fosca bay. Spacial cozy rooms, excellent food from their own gardens. We really enjoyed the wine tasting in Cellar Brugarol and the views are amazing. We did a really nice hike to the castle and Mas Salva. We will be back!

This beautifully restored finca has been developed into a stunning boutique resort with swimming pool, lovely gardens and panoramic outdoor dining terrace. The devoted team there attend to your every need and desire. And, the food is fresh, local and delicious. Overall, a 5 star experience, not to be missed.

Ideal location for beach holidays, parking 2 blocks away. Only items missed is beach towel rentals and chair rentals or something could be available in proximity.

I have been there with my girlfriend for our 2025 holiday. We spent there 8 nights and luckily we chose a room with a view over the seaside. And the view is simply amazing! I had issues with the shower, was fixed on the day. Couldn’t use their parking as the room was booked through the hotel. Com not direct. Was told to pay £15 euros a day.

The property is in a great area and the beautiful cove beach area is right out front. The only thing lacking is the restaurant next door, it isn’t best but there are many other food options around. The room was big and comfy. The hotel staff was very nice but did lack a bit when asked to help out on certain things. Overall, good couple days spent at the hotel and would return again.

Hace to say a little bit expensive, but most of the hotels in Spain are if you are looking for a good one. Nevertheless the staying was lovely and having the beach in front with the views is so worth it.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is super nice, straight out to the water, easy to walk part of the Cami De Ronda. And supermarket close by. They had “locked” parking space for our car, which again was really nice. The service we received from the “younger” guy in the reception was absolutely fantastic! He came with local recommendations, helped us book a table for a popular restaurant etc...

The staff was great and our rooms were so clean. Our housekeeper was the sweetest. I loved the location, close enough to walk to everything but so quiet and peaceful.

Could be much better easily. This hotel has so much potential that could be achieved so easily. The sewer smell in bathroom is so bad it almost makes you puke. Guess the connection from sewer to the toilet is root cause (see picture). Noise in the hall can be solved with rubber strips to the doors. Hotel Aubi is one of the best places we have ever stayed in Costa Brava. Not just a lovely hotel but the staff are like family and they make your stay with them feel like they genuinely care about your experience, my girlfriend and I have stayed here twice and 100% will be back it’s better every time.

The property was well placed to the port area and other parts of palamos. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and the room and shower was good.

Good hotel and an even better restaurant

We lived our 4 night stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel very clean and breakfast was yummy. We really relaxed and found the hotel quiet but still close enough to the beach and town. We hired a car and parking can be difficult to find, especially in July when we travelled.

I did not stay at the hostel. I only visited the restaurant to have lunch in October on a sunny day. My dad and I sat outside on the sand and ordered Fideua of Prawns. The service was fast, and polite. Overall amusing. We sat outside on the sand and there were just too many flies swarming around us. We stayed here one night while walking camino de Ronde. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful beach and views. Ate at the restaurant. Some of the best fish I have ever eaten but a bit pricey and over portioned. All in all, can definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful hotel right next to the sea. You fall asleep with the sound of the sea. The food is amazing with produce from the farm and all of it is ecological. The staff is friendly and try to answer the questions you have. Will definitly come back for some more tomato salads and sheep’s cheese, fresh fish the paellas and the amazing pan con chocolate
