Hotel Trias in Palamos

After having our hand luggage and my handbag stolen at Barcelona Airport whilst picking up a hire car, I rang ahead to Hotel Trias to alert them of our situation and they were extremely empathetic and told us to arrive when we could after the completion of police reports, etc. When we arrived, the lady on reception could not have been more helpful and arranged for us to have a meal and a drink even though it was 11.30 at night. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights initially and then decided to stay a further 3 nights as we felt very safe at the hotel. This is a fabulous hotel and one that we have been visiting over the last 10 years. The hotel also has the most fantastic restaurant which serves up the most delicious Spanish food. Well worth a visit!

I only went to the restaurant, so I can only comment on that (since it's also a hotel). They have two menus during the week and an à la carte menu. On weekdays, the menu comes with water and wine. You have a choice of 4-5 courses: a starter and a main course. Some come with extras. The staff was attentive and helpful. The dining room is large, spacious, and clean. The food is served fairly quickly, is high-quality, and thoughtfully prepared.

A charming 3star hotel that offers a 5 star service. The rooms are spotless, the food is very good but the staff and service are excellent. The proximity to the beach is perfect just cross the road. Lovely shops around as well definitely worth a visit if you need to travel on a budget

The receptionist was initially evasive and unhelpful when asked for advice on parking. But I persisted with questions, & she offered more information and it turned out that she knew more than she had let on. E g. the parking places marked with white lines are free at certain times of the year, while the blue ones are fee-bearing.
Also, I don't remember having ordered breakfast but she informed us that all reservations come automatically with breakfast.
The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and the view that I upgraded us to was fabulous.
It was convenient to have the tourist offices close by to get info on our Costa Brava hiking routes.
We also highly recommend Can Paco for the hours, food, atmosphere, and friendly wait staff.

We stay here every time we're in Palamos, quaint hotel in a great location with a fantastic restaurant and lovely team. Lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, lovely beach opposite the hotel with beautiful still water. Great place to relax

The hotel room was beautiful, very large and comfortable, with a nice view to the sea. And the building is old nicely renovated and very well kept. The location is excellent!

As always, this hotel does not disappoint. One can easily walk to the historic district, downtown Palamos, or the neighboring beach towns. The trail that connects the Costa Brava coves/beaches runs through this town. Don’t expect the extras- baggies of soaps and lotions or valet service- but I would absolutely stay again!
