Hotel Vostra Llar in Palamos

We spent 9 nights at this lovely little hotel in September 2025. We have stayed a few times before and will return again next summer. The rooms are lovely, large and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom with powerful shower,the air conditioning is perfect and the rooms are quiet with really good double glazing to keep the rooms peaceful. The large balcony is lovely to sit out on. The beds are comfortable and large. The restaurant is truly outstanding, popular with non guests as it has been for years. The courtyard garden is absolutely lovely for a shady retreat from the sun and at night comes alive with candlelight, it's a beautiful place for an evening drink or supper. The staff are friendly and professional, relaxed and unhurried even when busy. This hotel will not disappoint, really good value for money , it's a lovely place with the best breakfast buffet in Palamós, we are already looking forward to next summer.

The property was well placed to the port area and other parts of palamos. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and the room and shower was good.

Good hotel and an even better restaurant

We lived our 4 night stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel very clean and breakfast was yummy. We really relaxed and found the hotel quiet but still close enough to the beach and town. We hired a car and parking can be difficult to find, especially in July when we travelled.

Staff was very helpful, very comfortable experience both staying and dining. Close to the sea and dining opportunities. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend

We used to work in the area and, on occasion, visited the restaurant when we could, and also stayed one night. We recently returned some 26 years later, and wow, our wonderful memories were surpassed by our experience. The room was wonderful, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Room spotlessly clean. Due to returning for my 50th birthday, we were presently surprised by a completely bottle of fizz. Wonderful view overlooking the courtyard, room had everything you could need. Powerful shower and the atmosphere was just perfect. Breakfast was so good, local produce, hot and cold options with fantastic scrambled eggs. Evening meal, we eat on both nights and the restaurant was full of locals , which speaks for itself. Very reasonably priced and fantastic food. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I can not rate this establishment high enough. For me, a very special place. I hope to return and would totally recommend it. Thank you to all at the Vostra Llar.

Loved the friendly staff and quaintness of the property

Still working at 82 and staying in too many hotels. The Vostar Llar is quite an exception. The outstanding features are the quality of service , the garden courtyard together with the separate bar area and breakfast room. All well furnished and maintained Our room overlooking the garden was spotless and thankfully a non slip shower and bathroom floor - so few hotels provide this essential feature. Facing west the small terrace with 2 chairs and a table enjoyed the hours of sunshine. There is no hotel car park, although free out of season car parks are within easy reach. Thursday night was quiet but then the local descended en masse for both meals, Saturday and Sunday - the incredible level of service never faltered. My single complaint is that the quality of the food did not live up to the rest of the 5 star rating. Cold plates, a tired sole and tasteless small fried fish. Alcohol prices are very reasonable and they make a fantastic Margarita. It is very rare for my wife and I to say that we will revisit, on this occasion, most certainly.

The location is excellent , rooms terrific , service exceptional . With the bar and its food , breakfast and restaurant all being PERFECTO !!! We stayed 2 nights and will be back to this gem of a place

Two blocks from the beach and everything very easy to get to - very clean facilities and rooms and air conditioning worked very well - nice and quiet at night so I felt safe thank you
