Simplicity also has value
The value for money is good. Very clean, comfortable beds. Very decent bathroom and spacious room with air conditioning. Free parking in front of the hotel. Good cafeteria. Friendly staff.

Centrally located (between Palamós and Sant Antoni de Calonge), a great hotel with a good breakfast and powerful air conditioning. This 2-star hotel is located 100 meters from the beach and almost on the border of Palamós and Sant Antoni de Calonge. Both towns are a 15-minute walk away. A large supermarket is a 6-minute walk away. Conveniently, there's a small refrigerator in the room. It's also best to leave your car in this area, as paid parking is available everywhere. We stayed 4 nights and had a balcony with seating, powerful air conditioning, and a bathroom with a good shower. Furthermore, the decor is modern, judging by the style (this has been changed quite recently throughout the restaurant). The entire hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly, including sweet housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly extensive, and you can also enjoy it outside on the terrace, under the awning, with large plants and nice cushions. The only downside to our room (307) was that it was very close to another complex, so you wouldn't want to sit on the balcony, and there was indeed some traffic noise on the main road. Otherwise, it was fine. Reading the reviews, it seems a lot has changed since then. But: a great hotel, good value for money.

Bad service. We accidentally booked here because it has the same name as the hotel. As a result, we are now stuck with a hotel reservation that is of no use to us. Called the hotel directly but the receptionist refused to think along. She shouted and hung up several times. Very bad service here. I would not go there. If that happens during your stay, they will certainly not be there for you.

Horrible customer service. These people only care about the financial aspect and fail to understand that it's important for customers to be happy enough to share their opinion. I will never visit this hotel again, nor can I recommend it to anyone I know who visits Sant Antoni de Calonge.

Could be much better easily. This hotel has so much potential that could be achieved so easily. The sewer smell in bathroom is so bad it almost makes you puke. Guess the connection from sewer to the toilet is root cause (see picture). Noise in the hall can be solved with rubber strips to the doors. Noise from street is because sliding doors dont close completely (see picture). Is a better solution than to provide earplugs. Tackle the cause. With this, the perfectly located and equipped hotel would be perfect. The great bar and restaurant would be a bonus. Now I would hesitate to come again due to the smell and noise

Hotel Aubi is one of the best places we have ever stayed in Costa Brava. Not just a lovely hotel but the staff are like family and they make your stay with them feel like they genuinely care about your experience, my girlfriend and I have stayed here twice and 100% will be back it’s better every time.
