The staff are so friendly and obliging, it's a very good budget hotel. The skirting boards need a wipe and under the bed a sweep, but clean towels are available on demand and generally a good clean hotel as was our room. Really not far from the sea front.

Very good value hotel for my stay. Not much more than forty euros a night including a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Location is good with plenty of free parking nearby. I'd stay again.

Nice small hotel, well located within walking distance of the beach. The breakfast is good though it could use a bit of variety from one day to the next.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and I do rate it very highly and I am more than happy to give it 5 stars.
There is never an issue storing my bicycle safely inside.
All the staff - be it on reception, in the breakfast lounge or cleaning the rooms are very friendly and polite.
The buffet breakfast here is also always excellent with a great choice of high quality food.
I would happily recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Good hotel 2 blocks from the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are compact but fitted out with usual catalan efficiency and style. Excellent breakfast buffet. Check the mattress on arrival - our room had 2 good, 1 bad. Sound insulation's not great when hotel's busy.

Awesome experience at the Hotel Ciutadella! I was able to make a last minute reservation in July. I stayed in the annex. Great service, amazing breakfast buffet, room was spotless clean and comfy. There's a huge free parking area by the Citadelle, 3 minutes away. The beach and restaurants are 100 yards away. Can't wait to come back!

One night stay but we enjoyed it. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Great shower and plenty of towels and hot water. Little pool on the roof was fun with loungers etc. There are washing machines and ironing facilities as well. Food was cheap and cheerful, not going to win a Michelin star but filling and tasty buffet style. Reception staff were very nice. If we go back to Roses we will certainly look at staying here again.

Very friendly check-in. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the citadel and close to the sea. I had a nice, colourful and comfortable room. Breakfast was chaotic because there was a large group of French pensioners.

Absolutely worth your stay. The rooms are clean, lot of space to keep your stuffs. Gives you automatic upgrade without even asking. The dinner buffet was delicious and had some of the best desserts. This was the best dinner buffet spread so far in spain
