It was a great experience. The view was ok, the window to the balcony was noise proof and the service was great. The only downside was breakfast, we requested it vegan but we received yogurt and butter.

First room had an awful smell, Aircon didn't work, was moved to another room, Aircon didn't work, reported but know one came to investigate, had to sleep with patio door open, room's are tired and dated, breakfast is good, cleaning services are very good, pool, and pool area is good, had a mojito from the bar worst I've ever had mouldy mint leaves, returned it, got two beers to replace the mojito, that was flat and lifeless, won't be staying again.

We stayed at Hotel Univers for two nights. The rooms were outdated and the layout of the room was very strange (we could not walk from our bed to the bedroom without bumping into the desk).
The breakfast was okay, if you like eating in a very big room with bright lighting. The front office staff was not friendly at all and forgot to explain the most basic stuff at check in.
The swimming pool was nice and you could always get a bed. Would have been a plus if you could get towels at the swimming pool.

Reasonable value. 3 star hotel rating is just about right. Air con in our room was a bit unreliable. Parking is tight but there is a free public car park adjacent to the hotel. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. We had the included breakfast buffet which was good value but tended to get a bit monotonous after the first week.

The door of my first room didn't work. The second room smelled really bad. The third room was okay. The staff was really nice though. The restaurant offers a buffet with various dishes. None of them taste particularly good though. Prefer to go out to eat if you can pay a bit more.
